Kincardine power station was a 760 MW coal-fired power station on the shores of the upper Firth of Forth by Kincardine on Forth, Fife, Scotland.

Kincardine railway station served the town of Kincardine, Fife, Scotland from 1893 to 1930 on the Kincardine Line.

Kilbagie railway station served the town of Clackmannan, Clackmannanshire, Scotland from 1894 to 1930 on the Kincardine Line.

Kincardine ( kin-KAR-din; Scottish Gaelic: Cinn Chàrdainn) or Kincardine-on-Forth is a small town on the north shore of the Firth of Forth, in Fife, Scotland. The town was given the status of a burgh of barony in 1663. It was at one time a reasonably prosperous minor port. The townscape retains many good examples of Scottish vernacular buildings from the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries, although it was greatly altered during the construction of Kincardine Bridge in 1932–1936. It is in the civil parish of Tulliallan.

The Clackmannanshire Bridge (Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid Chlach Mhannainn) is a road bridge over the Firth of Forth in Scotland which opened to traffic on 19 November 2008. Prior to 1 October 2008 the bridge was referred to as the upper Forth crossing while the name was chosen.

Tulliallan Castle is a large house in Kincardine, Fife, Scotland. It is the second structure to have the name, and is a mixture of Gothic and Italian style architecture set amid some 90 acres (36 hectares) of parkland just north of where the Kincardine Bridge spans the Firth of Forth. It has been the home of the Scottish Police College since 1954. On 1 April 2013, Tulliallan Castle became the headquarters of Police Scotland (the newly created national police service for Scotland), but in 2014 the service's headquarters temporarily relocated to nearby Stirling in the former Central Scotland Police HQ.

The Kincardine Bridge is a road bridge crossing the Firth of Forth from Falkirk council area to Kincardine, Fife, Scotland.

The River Forth is a major river in central Scotland, 47 km (29 mi) long, which drains into the North Sea on the east coast of the country. Its drainage basin covers much of Stirlingshire in Scotland's Central Belt. The Gaelic name for the upper reach of the river, above Stirling, is Abhainn Dubh, meaning "black river". The name for the river below the tidal reach (just past where it is crossed by the M9 motorway) is Uisge For.

Kennet is a small former coal-mining village in Clackmannanshire, Scotland. It is located 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) south-east of Clackmannan, by the Kincardine railway line. The village is a conservation area, designated by Clackmannanshire Council.Kennet House, the seat of the Bruces of Kennet, was located to the west of the village (grid reference NS918908). The house was built or rebuilt in the 1790s for the judge Robert Bruce, Lord Kennet. His descendant, the politician and banker Alexander Bruce, established a claim to the forfeited title of Lord Balfour of Burleigh in 1868. The house was demolished in 1967.Between 1905 and 1961 coal was mined at the Brucefield Colliery, located just to the north of Kennet (grid reference NS928913). In 1948, 75,000 tons of coal were extracted. A brickworks on the site continued to operate into the 1960s.

Kennetpans Distillery is a former Scotch whisky distillery. Once the biggest distillery in Scotland, Kennetpans made whisky in the early eighteenth century.Tax paid on the produce was greater than all of Scotland's land tax. This wealth led to the building of the first railway line in Scotland and one of the first canals. The owners, the Stein family, have been described as being "at the forefront of the Industrial Revolution in Scotland."The distillery has connections to Haig and Jameson names in alcohol production. A newly developed condensing steam engine invented by James Watt was installed here, the first in Scotland.Ceasing operations in 1825, the site is now noted as being "ruinous" and overgrown. At one time the buildings were three stories high. The site also had its own pier, remains of which can be seen at low tide. The site was designated as a scheduled monument in 1991.

The Firth of Forth (Scottish Gaelic: Linne Foirthe) is the estuary, or firth, of several Scottish rivers including the River Forth. It meets the North Sea with Fife on the north coast and Lothian on the south.

The 275 kV Forth Crossing has the tallest electricity towers (pylons )in Scotland. They stand next to the Clackmannanshire Bridge and the Kincardine Bridge, and cross the River Forth. The tower at the southern end is 153.9 metres (505 ft), that at the northern end 137.16 metres (450 ft) tall.
