Kidwelly Flats Halt railway station

Pinged Halt railway station was opened in 1909 but was renamed Pinged railway station in 1922. It continued to serve the inhabitants of the Pinged area between 1909 and 1953 and was one of several basic halts opened on the Burry Port and Gwendraeth Valley Railway in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Pembrey West Wales Airport (Welsh: Maes Awyr Pen-Bre) is located 6 NM (11 km; 6.9 mi) west northwest of Llanelli (9 NM (17 km; 10 mi) south of Carmarthen) in Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, in Wales. Pembrey has one hard runway designated as 22LH/C and 04RH/C. The airport and its ICAO code EGPF were withdrawn from the Aeronautical Information Publication in July 2022.Pembrey airport is situated inside the Royal Air Force danger area D118 known as Pembrey Sands Air Weapons Range. Pembrey is open seven days a week but only open at weekends unless a prior booking is made, due to an LOA with the MoD to operate civil and commercial flights during operational hours as long as any visiting aircraft obtain the required PPR from the RAF. The licence has been temporary withdrawn for construction work to be completed on one of the taxiways by the CAA along with taxiway Bravo the APAPI and NDB systems

Craiglon Bridge Halt railway station may have served the Craig-Lon Colliery and its workers near Pembrey, but this business was closed in the 1930s. It continued to serve the inhabitants of the Lando area between 1932 and 1953 and was one of several basic halts opened on the Burry Port and Gwendraeth Valley Railway in Carmarthenshire, Wales. A firing range was located nearby in WWII.

Pembrey Circuit is a motor racing circuit near Pembrey village, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is the home of Welsh motorsport, providing racing for cars, motorcycles, karts and trucks. The circuit's facilities have also been used for a single-venue rally.

Ty-coch Halt railway station, Ty Coch Halt railway station or Tycoch Halt railway station had been opened by 1927 to passenger services for miners use only. A halt is however marked on the 1913 OS map. It was opened by the Great Western Railway and served the colliers from the Kidwelly area working at the collieries in the Gwendraeth Valley between 1927 and 1949; several basic halts were opened on the Burry Port and Gwendraeth Valley Railway in Carmarthenshire, Wales, however most were also opened to public use.

Pembrey Country Park is a country park on the coast of South Wales, located near the village of Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, and the town of Llanelli. Pembrey Country Park consists of some 500 acres (200 ha) of parkland. Its southern edge is formed by the 8 miles (13 km) long Cefn Sidan beach. The park contains visitor attractions such as ski slopes, adventure play areas, a miniature railway, and mountain bike trails.The land which the park is located served industrial uses in the 20th century; railway lines, World War II bunkers and pillboxes still remain.The park hosted the start of the 2018 Tour of Britain cycle race, featuring a peloton of riders including reigning and former Tour de France champions Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome.

Kidwelly (Welsh: Cydweli) is a town and community in Carmarthenshire, southwest Wales, approximately 7 miles (11 km) northwest of the most populous town in the county, Llanelli. In the 2001 census the community of Kidwelly returned a population of 3,289, increasing to 3,523 at the 2011 Census. It lies on the River Gwendraeth above Carmarthen Bay. The community includes Mynyddgarreg and Llangadog.

Kidwelly Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Dref Cydweli) is a municipal building in Lady Street, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The structure, which was last used as a public library but is currently vacant, is a Grade II listed building.

Court Farm in Pembrey, Carmarthenshire, Wales, is an ancient and formerly imposing manor house which is now an overgrown ruin, but structurally sound, and capable of repair and restoration. It consists of three buildings: the farmhouse, a complex two-storey house of approximately 99 square metres; an adjacent barn; and a later cowshed.

The Church of Saint Mary is a Grade I Listed Building in the town of Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The church was listed in December 1963 (Cadw Building ID: 11878). Founded c. 1114 the church was burnt down in 1223 and most of the existing building dates from c. 1320 when it was a Benedictine priory.It has been listed as the largest parish church in south west Wales, exceptional for the broach spire and fine decorative 14th-century Gothic detail.

Kidwelly Priory was a Benedictine abbey in Kidwelly, Wales (in Welsh, Cydweli). Roger, bishop of Salisbury (d.1139), a Norman invader founded the priory of Kidwelly, but it seems to have been a place of Celtic Christian veneration of Saint Cadog for some centuries prior to that.It was a daughter abbey of Sherborne Abbey, and although well documented in the historical record it appears to have remained small for its extent. It was dissolved 1539, by Henry VIII. Today the abbey remains a parish church, St Mary's with much of the surviving fabric dates to the fourteenth century, c. 1320.
