George W. Layton House

KMES (1430 kHz) is a non-commercial AM radio station licensed to Ogden, Utah, and serving the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The station is owned by El Sembrador Ministries and carries Spanish-language Catholic radio programming from its ESNE Radio network. KMES operates at 25,000 watts by day and 5,000 watts at night, using a four-tower array directional antenna. KMES's transmitter is near the Great Salt Lake in Layton, Utah. All four of KMES's towers are different heights, which is unusual.

Webster University Utah is a branch of Webster University, an independent, accredited, non-profit, private university in St. Louis, Missouri. Its campus location is at Hill Air Force Base, comprising only one of Webster's many campuses around the world. Webster opened its first Utah campus at Hill Air Force Base in 2000, and currently offers master's degree programs. Webster is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. Designed to accommodate working schedules, classes meet one night a week from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. With five nine-week terms per year, most master's degree can be completed in 15–30 months by taking one or two courses each term.

Clearfield station is a commuter rail station in Clearfield, Utah, United States served by the FrontRunner, Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) commuter rail train that operates along the Wasatch Front with service from Ogden in central Weber County through Davis County, Salt Lake City, and Salt Lake County to Provo in central Utah County.

Lifetime Products Inc. is a privately owned company founded in 1986. Its main products are blow-molded polyethylene folding chairs and tables, picnic tables, home basketball equipment, sheds, coolers, kayaks and paddleboards, and lawn and garden items, along with OEM steel and plastic items from other companies.

The John Henry Layton House, at 683 W. Gentile St. in West Layton, Utah was built in 1898. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It was designed by Kaysville, Utah architect William Allen and is related to the George W. Layton House a couple miles away, also on W. Gentile St. It is a two-story red brick house upon a stone foundation. The original outbuildings included a stone wellhouse (more commonly known as a cellar), a frame granary, and a large barn, all of which survive. Outbuildings also included an L-shaped shed for livestock, an elongated thatched shed, and an outhouse, which do not survive. "The Layton house is of pattern book design, one which Allen may have used for the Joseph Adams house in East Layton, and again in the George W. Layton house in West Layton."

The Freeport Center is a manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution center located in Clearfield, Utah. It was originally built in 1942 as the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot, which was decommissioned in 1962. A portion of the old Navy Supply Depot now exists as Clearfield Job Corps. This lines the westernmost section of the Freeport Center. The 680-acre (280 ha) center consists of 78 buildings, totaling more than 7,000,000 square feet (650,000 m2). Buildings range in size from 4,000 square feet (370 m2) to 400,000 square feet (37,000 m2). Most buildings have a railroad loading dock on one side, and a truck loading dock on the other. About 70 companies have manufacturing and distribution facilities in the Freeport Center, including Lifetime Products, Northrop Grumman, Don Julio Foods, and Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company. It is also the former headquarters of defunct roller coaster company Arrow Dynamics. The Freeport Center's name is a reference to Utah's Freeport Law, enacted in 1966, which exempted inventory held for sale from property taxes.

Clearfield High School is a secondary school in Clearfield, Utah, United States. It is part of the Davis School District. The school's mascot is the peregrine falcon, and its colors are green and white with an accent of gold. In 1960-61 students opened the doors of the new Clearfield High School, with the first class graduating in spring 1963. The current principal is Chris Keime.

Layton Hills Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Layton, Utah, United States. Opened in 1980, the mall features Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, and JCPenney as its anchor stores. The mall is owned by CBL & Associates Properties.

The Davis Conference Center is a 110,000-square-foot convention/conference center with over 70,000-square-feet of flexible meeting space located in Layton, Utah, United States. After several failed attempts, the center opened its doors in 2004. The $11.3 million center was a joint effort financed and developed by Davis County, Layton city, and a group of developers led by Kevin Garn. “The center, which hosts 700 groups a year, is unique in that it offers exhibit space, conference space and an adjoining hotel for lodging,” according to Dave Hilliard, the director of operations for the Davis Conference Center. In the conference's first year it hosted 726 events. The conference center is attached to a Hilton Garden Inn, owned by Kevin Garn, and within walking distance to several hotels, the Layton Hills Mall, and restaurants. The Davis Conference Center features event spaces of different sizes, the biggest of which is a 12,500-square-foot ballroom with a 1,000 person capacity.Two 85-foot-tall towers are mounted with LED light strips that indicate future weather forecasts. The Davis Conference Center is adorned with red rock from India, even though Utah is famous for its own red rock formations, but less expensive to purchase overseas saving tax payer dollars.

Anime Banzai is an annual three-day anime convention held during October at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah. The name of the convention roughly comes from the Japanese word for "hooray". The convention is organized by Utah Anime Promotions and is run by a volunteer staff.

Clearfield (Shoshone: Gu-ta-nu-a-de, “Place where the wind blows hard”) is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. The population was 31,909 at the 2020 census. The city grew rapidly during the 1940s, with the formation of Hill Air Force Base, and in the 1950s with the nationwide increase in suburb and "bedroom" community populations and has been steadily growing since then. Clearfield is a principal city of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Davis, Morgan, and Weber counties.

The Clearfield Canal Trail is a 3-mile-long (4.8 km) trail that parallels the Davis Weber Canal within Clearfield, Utah, United States. It begins at North 1200 West (University Park Boulevard) and travels northwest, roughly along the course of the canal. Along its path, it crosses South 1500 East and Bernard Fisher Highway (SR-193/South 700 East) before crossing twice over the canal. The trail temporarily ends at East 200 South, immediately east of I-15, but resumes at East 300 North (on the west side of I-15. After crossing Bruce Street, it reaches West 650 North (SR-103), with North Main Street (SR-126 to the west and I-15 to the east). There are eventual plans to connect the two sections of the trail.
