Davis Conference Center

Anime Banzai is an annual three-day anime convention held during October at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah. The name of the convention roughly comes from the Japanese word for "hooray". The convention is organized by Utah Anime Promotions and is run by a volunteer staff.

Layton Hills Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Layton, Utah, United States. Opened in 1980, the mall features Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, and JCPenney as its anchor stores. The mall is owned by CBL & Associates Properties.

The Clearfield Canal Trail is a 3-mile-long (4.8 km) trail that parallels the Davis Weber Canal within Clearfield, Utah, United States. It begins at North 1200 West (University Park Boulevard) and travels northwest, roughly along the course of the canal. Along its path, it crosses South 1500 East and Bernard Fisher Highway (SR-193/South 700 East) before crossing twice over the canal. The trail temporarily ends at East 200 South, immediately east of I-15, but resumes at East 300 North (on the west side of I-15. After crossing Bruce Street, it reaches West 650 North (SR-103), with North Main Street (SR-126 to the west and I-15 to the east). There are eventual plans to connect the two sections of the trail.

Northridge High School (NHS) is a high school located in Layton, Utah, United States. It was opened in 1992 and is part of the Davis School District.

The Northern Utah Academy for Math Engineering and Science (NUAMES) is a public charter high school for students in grades 10-12. The school started to provide an educational experience that prepares high school students for an early transition into a university baccalaureate program in fields related to math, science and engineering. Students who have attended NUAMES for a full year and meet Weber State's admission requirements receive a scholarship to attend the university while they are also completing their high school diploma. Many students earn their associate degrees by the time they graduate. The NUAMES campus is on the Weber State University Davis campus in Layton, Utah. The principal is Brenda Casper, the assistant principal is Jamie Froerer and Nate Taggart is the director of business operations.

The John Henry Layton House, at 683 W. Gentile St. in West Layton, Utah was built in 1898. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It was designed by Kaysville, Utah architect William Allen and is related to the George W. Layton House a couple miles away, also on W. Gentile St. It is a two-story red brick house upon a stone foundation. The original outbuildings included a stone wellhouse (more commonly known as a cellar), a frame granary, and a large barn, all of which survive. Outbuildings also included an L-shaped shed for livestock, an elongated thatched shed, and an outhouse, which do not survive. "The Layton house is of pattern book design, one which Allen may have used for the Joseph Adams house in East Layton, and again in the George W. Layton house in West Layton."

Layton (/ˈleɪʔɪn/) is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 81,773, with 2023 estimates showing a 5% increase to 86,003. Layton is the most populous city in Davis County and the tenth most populous in Utah. Layton has direct access to Salt Lake City, Ogden, Salt Lake City International Airport, Antelope Island, and the FrontRunner commuter rail. Layton City is a leader in economic development for the region, with immediate adjacency to Hill Air Force Base, a large hospitality district (1,000+ hotel beds) and conference center, the Layton Hills Mall, multiple nationally recognized retail and food chains, the East Gate Business Park, and the Weber State University-Davis campus. In 2014, Layton contributed $1.34 billion worth of retail sales activity, the second largest market north of Salt Lake City and seventh largest in Utah.

Clearfield High School is a secondary school in Clearfield, Utah, United States. It is part of the Davis School District. The school's mascot is the peregrine falcon, and its colors are green and white with an accent of gold. In 1960-61 students opened the doors of the new Clearfield High School, with the first class graduating in spring 1963. The current principal is Chris Keime.

The First National Bank of Layton was a locally owned and operated bank in Layton, Utah. The bank was established in 1905 when the founders pooled together $25,000 to open a community bank. As of 2014, the bank has seven branches throughout the Wasatch Front. The First National Bank of Layton's chairman, Kevin Garn, was named to the position in 2000. K. John Jones was appointed as president and CEO in 2007. In 2019, First National Bank of Layton was acquired by Glacier Bancorp and was re-branded as First Community Bank Utah, Division of Glacier Bank.The First National Bank's first location, designed by architect William Allen, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of only six Utah banks that have stayed in business for over one hundred years.

The Farmer's Union Building in Layton, Utah, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.It was designed by local architect William Allen. It is a two-story roughly square building now, built in three sections (in 1890, in a year soon after that, and in 1930).The building was deemed significant for NRHP listing for it having housed the Farmer's Union Mercantile Institution, which was the first commercial enterprise in Layton. The building served as Layton's "primary meeting hall, social center, and recreational facility."The building replaced the original Kaysville Farmers Union, General Mercantile Store, located at 12 South Main Street. The original building being a small frame store building that was originally built in Kaysville then later moved. The Farmers Union was incorporated in 1909, E.P. Ellison as manager. The Farmers Union served as a bank and post office during the early days of Layton City, but was deemed unsafe after the murder of Mr. Sandall, the night watchman, on March 24, 1898. The Farmers Union closed in 1957. Cannery Sales and Grocery leased the building and later Family Furniture used the space. Note the 'Colored TV Sale' poster in the 1978 photo.

Layton High School is a secondary school located in Layton, Utah, United States. Part of the Davis School District, Layton High School educates students in grades 10 to 12. As of the 2014–2015 school year, 1,743 students were enrolled and actively attending the school.

Layton Station is a FrontRunner commuter rail station in Layton, Utah. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).
