Rumgally House

North East Fife is a county constituency in Fife, Scotland, represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Wendy Chamberlain of the Liberal Democrats since the 2019 general election. The seat was created in 1983, and was held by the Conservative Party for four years, before being represented by Menzies Campbell from 1987 to 2015. Campbell was elected as a member of the Liberal Party, which later merged with the Social Democratic Party to form the Liberal Democrats. At the 2015 general election, the seat was gained by Stephen Gethins of the Scottish National Party (SNP). Gethins held his seat at the 2017 general election by just two votes over Elizabeth Riches of the Liberal Democrats, making the seat the most marginal in the United Kingdom. At the 2019 general election, Chamberlain defeated Gethins to regain the seat for the Liberal Democrats; this was the SNP's only loss at the general election.

Kemback (Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Bac) is a village and parish in Fife, Scotland, located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east of Cupar. The present village was developed in the 19th century to house those working the flax mills on the nearby Ceres Burn. From 1681 the minister for the parish was Alexander Edward, until 1689 when he was deprived as a non-juror. He went on to become an architect and landscape architect, working on schemes for Brechin Castle and Hamilton Palace. The civil parish has a population of 558 (in 2011).

Dairsie Castle is a restored tower house located 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) south of Dairsie in north-east Fife, Scotland. The castle overlooks the River Eden.

Dairsie Old Church, formerly St Mary's Church, is the former parish church of Dairsie, in north-east Fife, Scotland. It is located around 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) south of Dairsie village. The present church was built in 1621, and is an unusual example of post-Reformation Gothic architecture in Scotland. It is no longer in use as a church, and is protected as a Category A listed building.

Dairsie Bridge is a 16th-century stone bridge, located 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) south of Dairsie, in north-east Fife, Scotland. It carries a minor road across the River Eden, linking the parishes of Dairsie to the north and Kemback to the south. The bridge is protected as a Category A listed building.

Dura Den is a small, 3 km-long wooded gorge that is located near Cupar in northeastern Fife, Scotland. This narrow cleft follows a course between the villages of Kemback to the north and Pitscottie to the south. A small stream, named the Ceres (or Kame) Burn, follows the course of this gorge and this flow includes small waterfalls near the midpoint. Historically the Ceres Burn was used to power jute spinning mills Around 1859, the geologist and Newburgh minister John Anderson discovered what turned out to be extensive sandstone deposits of ganoid fossilized fish in this area. The Dura Den Wood occupies an area of 4.25 acres (17,200 m2). The woods include ash, oak, and hazel.

Dairsie railway station served the village of Dairsie, Fife, Scotland from 1848 to 1954 on the Edinburgh and Northern Railway.

Dairsie, or Osnaburgh, is a village and parish in north-east Fife, Scotland. It is 3 miles (4.8 km) south-southwest of Leuchars Junction, and 3 miles (4.8 km) east-northeast of Cupar on the A91 Stirling to St Andrews road. The village grew out of two smaller settlements (called Dairsiemuir and Osnaburgh), and developed principally around the industry of weaving. Since the late twentieth century it has become a dormitory settlement for nearby towns. The village may have derived its name of Osnaburgh from weaving osnaburg, a coarse linen or cotton, originally imported from Osnabrück in Germany. The civil parish has a population of 387 (in 2011).

The Dairsie Hoard is a hoard of late 3rd century Roman hacksilver that was found near Dairsie, Fife, Scotland in 2014 by a teenage boy, David Hall, at a metal-detecting rally. The hoard comprises over 300 pieces of silver, including fragments of at least four vessels. The artifacts were on display at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh between October 2017 and February 2018. Fraser Hunter, principal curator at National Museums Scotland stated that the hacksilver may have been a gift or payment to local Pictish tribes by the Roman army.

Ceres is a village in Fife, Scotland, located in a small glen approximately 2 miles (3 km) over the Ceres Moor from Cupar and 7 mi (11 km) from St Andrews. The former parish of that name included the settlements of Baldinnie, Chance Inn, Craigrothie, Pitscottie and Tarvit Mill.

Pitscottie is a village in the Parish of Ceres, Fife, situated on the Ceres Burn at a road junction to the south of Dura Den and 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Cupar. The nearby Pitscottie Moor was a favourite meeting place of Covenanters during the late 17th century and during the 1820s the village became a centre of flax spinning. There is an 18th-century bridge over the Ceres Burn.

Blebo Craigs, or Blebocraigs is a village in rural Fife, Scotland. The village contains around one hundred houses on the south-facing slope of the hill. Blebo Craigs is 5 miles from St Andrews.
