Landseer Park

Greenwich is a suburban area of Ipswich, in the Ipswich district, in the county of Suffolk, England. For many years it was a hamlet included in the parish of St Clement's and thus was part of the Ipswich Corporation from the time of its creation in 1200.

The South East Area, Ipswich is one of five administrative areas in Ipswich, through which Ipswich Borough Council divides its spending and enables feedback from local residents, businesses and community groups.The area is composed of three wards, each represented by three councillors. Each ward is also a Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA). As of the 2022 Ipswich Borough Council election, the councillors are as follows: These Councillors form the South East Area Committee of which Stephen Connelly is the chair. Three Suffolk County Council Councillors are co-opted members of the committee. The divisions they represent are either fully or partially in the South East Area.: The area is also covered by a Neighbourhood Watch network which comprises 35 neighbourhood watch schemes.

The Margaret Catchpole is a pub in Cliff Lane, Ipswich, named after Margaret Catchpole, a servant of Elizabeth and John Cobbold of the Tolly Cobbold brewery. Built in 1936 by the local architect Harold Ridley Hooper for the Cobbold brewery, it is a Grade II* listed building. Most of its interior features have remained unaltered since the 1930s, making it one of the finest examples of this period in England. Since 2003 it has been part of the Holywells Park Conservation Area.

Gainsborough is an area of Ipswich, in the Ipswich district, in the county of Suffolk, England. It was named after the artist Thomas Gainsborough of Sudbury, who lived in Ipswich for several years. He was noted for visiting the banks of the Orwell in this area.

The Cliff Brewery is a Grade II listed former brewery in Ipswich, England. The building dates to 1896 and was designed by William Bradford.

Pipers Vale is a 19.7 hectare Local Nature Reserve on the southern outskirts of Ipswich in Suffolk. It is owned and managed by Ipswich Borough Council.This site on the bank of the River Orwell is part of Orwell Country Park. Its diverse habitats include heath, reedbeds, scrub and alder carr. Over 100 bird species have been recorded, including redwings, whimbrels and bullfinches.There is access from Gainsborough Lane.

Leighton Road Evangelical Church is a nonconformist independent evangelical church located on the Gainsborough estate, Ipswich in the English county of Suffolk. Gainsborough estate is an urban priority area council housing estate on the south east side of Ipswich. The church building was erected on land bought from Ipswich Borough Council in 1935. Of local interest is a large oak tree, around 400 years old, at the front of the church. Although the tree does not currently have a Tree Preservation Order on it, it is believed locally to have been used by 19th century Suffolk heroine Margaret Catchpole to harness her horse to, on occasions. The church consists on one main chapel building of the mid-1930s which has recently been extended at the back with a small Sunday school room and disabled toilet added. It is not currently a listed building. The church was previously known as Gainsborough Evangelical Free Church and Leighton Road Baptist Church, and is the only place of worship situated within the Gainsborough estate itself. The church has recently joined the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. The current trustees of the church are FIEC Ltd. The church is governed as an independent Baptist church, with pastor and deacons. The current pastor is Brian Langston.

The Orwell Bridge is a concrete box girder bridge just south of Ipswich in Suffolk, England. Opened to road traffic in 1982, the bridge carries the A14 road (formerly the A45) over the River Orwell.

Cliff Quay Power Station was a coal-fired power station situated to the south of Ipswich, Suffolk in the East of England. The station was designed by Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners and built by the Cleveland Bridge Company.
