Wall Grange railway station is a disused railway station in Staffordshire, England.

Deep Hayes Country Park is a country park in Staffordshire, England. It is about 3 miles (4.8 km) south-west of Leek, a short distance south of the A53 road at Longsdon. Its area is 60 acres (24 ha). Its northern boundary is the Caldon Canal, and is based around three pools (Cumberledge Pool, Park Pool and Hayes Pool), formerly a reservoir. There is a visitor centre, with free parking and toilets. Marked pathways, of varying lengths, lead around the area of the former reservoir. There is a picnic area.The pools have shoreline rushes and other flora; waterfowl can be seen. Roach, tench and carp have been introduced, and there are invertebrates including dragonflies and damselflies. There is woodland around the pools, and meadows, which have a diversity of flowering plants, including uncommon species. There is a bird hide.

Westwood College, formerly known as Westwood High School is a mixed upper school located in Leek, Staffordshire, England. Westwood is set in the grounds of Westwood Hall, an old manor house built in the 17th century, once lived in by the Davenport family, famous Stoke-on-Trent potters. The house was built over an existing house that is said to have belonged to one of Henry VIII's favourite Knights, Francis Talbot.

St Edward's Hospital was a mental health facility at Cheddleton in Staffordshire, England. The hospital closed in 2002 and was converted into apartments and houses.

The St Edward's Hospital tramway was a tramway built for Staffordshire County Council for the construction of the St Edward's County Mental Asylum at Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Opened in 1899, the line ran until 1954 before being closed and scrapped.

Cheddleton Flint Mill is a water mill situated in the village of Cheddleton in the English county of Staffordshire. The mill race takes water from the river Churnet. The site is believed to have been used for milling since the Middle Ages. However, the present structures mainly date from the period of the Industrial Revolution, although there is evidence of some earlier work surviving. There are actually two mills: one is a late 18th century structure which was purpose-built to grind flint for use in the pottery industry, and the other was converted to the same purpose from use as a corn-mill. The mill complex includes a miller's cottage, two flint kilns, a drying kiln and outbuildings, and is adjacent to the Caldon Canal.

Rudyard is a lakeside village in the county of Staffordshire, England, west of Leek and on the shore of Rudyard Lake. Population details as taken at the 2011 census can be found under Horton. The Rudyard railway station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway on 22 July 1850.

Rudyard railway station served Rudyard, Staffordshire and was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) in 1850 on the Churnet Valley line. In the village the NSR also owned the Rudyard Hotel as part of the company's efforts to develop Rudyard Lake and its environs as a tourist destination. In 1926 the London, Midland and Scottish Railway renamed the station Rudyard Lake and at the same time Rudyard Lake station at the north end of the lake was renamed Cliffe Park.As Rudyard Lake station, it remained open until passenger services were withdrawn from the northern end of the Churnet valley line (North Rode – Leek) in 1960. Freight services lasted until 1964 when they too were withdrawn and the track lifted.

Leek Town Football Club is an English football club based in Leek, Staffordshire, playing in the Northern Premier League Division One West. The team, nicknamed "The Blues", play their home games at Harrison Park. The club was founded in 1946 and played in a variety of local leagues including the Staffordshire County League, Manchester League, Mid-Cheshire League and Cheshire County League, before becoming a founder member of the North West Counties League in 1982 and from there progressing to the Northern Premier League in 1987. In 1997 they were Northern Premier League champions and gained promotion to the Football Conference, the highest level of English non-league football, spending two seasons at that level before being relegated. Leek Town reached the final of the FA Trophy in 1990, having progressed all the way from the first qualifying round, but lost in the final at Wembley Stadium 3–0 to Barrow.

Leek railway station served the town of Leek, Staffordshire. It was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1849. Passenger services to Uttoxeter were withdrawn in 1965, with complete closure following in 1970. For a short time in 1961–62, special football excursions (the Stanley Matthews Express) were arranged to Stoke following the return of Stanley Matthews to Stoke City FC.
