Tanjung Bin Power Station is a large coal-fired power station in Malaysia.

The Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP, UN/Locode: MYTPP) is a container port located in Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. It is part of the APM Terminals Global Terminal Network, holding a minority share in the joint venture. On 13 March, 2000, the port held its inauguration ceremony, officiated by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.Located on the eastern mouth of the Pulai River in southwestern Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia, the port is in close proximity to the Straits of Johor, separating Malaysia and Singapore, as well as the Strait of Malacca. Transshipment accounts for over 90 percent of the port's traffic and it was developed to compete with Singaporean ports.

Forest City is an integrated residential development and private town located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. First announced in 2006 as a twenty-year investment project mostly financed by a consortium of mainland Chinese private real estate developers, pitched under the Belt and Road Initiative.It was officiated by then Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak in 2016, with the approval of the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail. Forest City is a joint venture between Esplanade Danga 88, an affiliate of state government subsidiary Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor (KPRJ), through a joint venture, Country Garden Holding Ltd (CGPV), with CGPV holding 60 percent of shares, while KPRJ holds the other 40 percent. Forest City is under the management of the Iskandar Puteri City Council and the Iskandar Regional Development Authority. The development of Forest City is contentious. The project was not targeted at local Malaysians but rather at upper-middle-class citizens from China who were looking to park their wealth abroad, by offering relatively affordable seafront properties compared to expensive coastal cities within their country such as Shanghai. However, initial strong sales from China collapsed after its leader Xi Jinping implemented currency controls, including a $50,000 annual cap on how much buyers could spend outside the country. Such lackluster sales were exacerbated by the 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, with the project being described as a "ghost town" in 2022. The project, which is located on reclaimed land, has also been criticised for causing large amounts of habitat destruction in the vicinity.

Malaysian Airline System Flight 653 (MH653) was a scheduled domestic flight from Penang to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, operated by Malaysian Airline System (MAS). On the evening of 4 December 1977, the Boeing 737-200 aircraft flying the service crashed at Tanjung Kupang, Johor, Malaysia, while purportedly being diverted by hijackers to Singapore. It was the first fatal air crash for Malaysia Airlines (as the airline is now known), with all 93 passengers and 7 crew killed. It is also the deadliest aviation disaster to occur on Malaysian soil. The flight was apparently hijacked as soon as it reached cruise altitude. The circumstances in which the hijacking and subsequent crash occurred remain unsolved.

The Sultan Abu Bakar Complex (KSAB; Malay: Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar; Jawi: کومڤليکس سلطان ابو بکر ) is a customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) complex in Tanjung Kupang, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. Located at the northern end of the Malaysia–Singapore Second Link, it is one of the two land ports of entry to Malaysia on the Malaysia–Singapore border. The CIQ complex is named after Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor. From Malaysia, vehicular access is provided by the Second Link Expressway, continuing after border inspection onto the Second Link bridge to Tuas Checkpoint in Tuas, Singapore. Pedestrians are not permitted on the Second Link; as a result, there is no pedestrian access to or from the complex.

Pulau Merambong, formerly known as Pulo Ular, is an uninhabited island on the Straits of Johor. The island is dominated by mangrove swamp. It is located just 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) off the coast from Tuas, Singapore. Administratively, it is placed under the Pontian District, Johor, Malaysia.

Tuas South Incineration Plant is the largest waste incineration facility in Singapore. It was commissioned in June 2000. The plant can incinerate 3000 tonns of garbage everyday. The incineration reduces the waste volume by 90%. The plant occupies 10.5 ha of reclaimed land. It was constructed at a cost of S$890 million. The plant also generate 80 MW of electricity.

Tuas Link MRT station is an elevated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station in western Singapore. Located in Tuas along Tuas West Drive, it is located close to Tuas Depot and Tuas Checkpoint. The station is the terminus of the East–West line (EWL) and the westernmost station in Singapore. First announced in 2011 as part of the Tuas West Extension (TWE), the station began operations on 18 June 2017. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. It is the only elevated station in Singapore to feature a concourse above the platforms, due to space constraints at the ground level.

Tuas West Road MRT station is an above-ground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station along the East West line in Tuas, Singapore. This station took its name from a nearby road. It is located along Pioneer Road, near the junction with Tuas West Road, and sits along the boundaries of the Tuas North, Tuas Bay and Tuas Promenade planning subzones. The station serves industries in the vicinity of Pioneer Road and Tuas West Road, such as Tuas Avenue 9, 11, 12 and 20, Tuas Lane and Tuas West Avenue.

Pendas or Kangkar Pendas (Chinese: 谢厝港) is a fisherman village in Gelang Patah, Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia.

Tuas Biomedical Park (abbreviation: TBP) is a biomedical manufacturing cluster developed by JTC Corporation at the western end of Singapore. The 183-hectare Tuas Biomedical Park I and 188-hectare Tuas Biomedical Park II are located at Tuas View – 20 minutes away from Jurong Port and five minutes from the Tuas Checkpoint to Malaysia. TBP comes with all essential infrastructure, such as roads, power lines, telecommunication lines, sewer pipes and water and gas supplies. Third parties are providing utilities such as steam, natural gas, chilled water and waste treatment services. To improve the appearance of the industrial estate, JTC has spent $6 million on lush landscaping. With the estate's "plug-and-play" design, pharmaceutical, biologics, medical device and other biomedical companies can set up manufacturing operations with minimal lead time. They can either move into fully serviced facilities or custom-build their own manufacturing plants. Currently, there are many well-known companies operating in TBP. They include global biomedical players like Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, Wyeth, Genentech and GlaxoSmithKline.
