Bang Waek

Bang Chak (Thai: บางจาก, pronounced [bāːŋ t͡ɕàːk]) is a khwaeng (sub-district) of Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok's Thonburi side. The subdistrict contained seven administrative villages.

Wat Chan Pradittharam (Thai: วัดจันทร์ประดิษฐาราม) is a Buddhist temple in the Phasi Charoen District of Bangkok, Thailand, by the Thonburi west bank of the Chao Phraya River. The full name of the temple is Wat Chan Pradittharam, named before Wat Chan Pa Khon.

Wat Ko (Thai: วัดเกาะ) is a Buddhist temple of over 320 years old in the area of Bang Chueak Nang Subdistrict, Taling Chan District, Bangkok. The temple was built during the late Ayutthaya period, but the exact builder name is unknown. It is located on a land surrounded by two waterways Khlong Bang Chueak Nang and Khlong Bang Noi, hence the name "Wat Ko", which means "island temple". This temple is believed to have been built since the late Ayutthaya period, more than 300 years old. The principle Buddha named Luang Pho Dam (หลวงพ่อดำ) that enshrined in the sanctuary Chinese-styled roof. One of the highlights of this temple is the ancient chedi located on the right side of the sanctuary rim Khlong Bang Noi. Wat Ko is a small and quiet temple, and cannot be reached by car. This temple is the destination of water tourism by long-tail boat from Taling Chan floating market, which is only available on Saturday-Sunday or a holiday only.

Siam University (SU, Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยสยาม) is a university located on Phet Kasem Road in Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok. Siam University was founded by the late Narong Mongkhonvanit as a three-year private engineering school in 1965.In 1973, Siam University, then known as Siam Technical College, was formally established as a higher education institution with authorization to grant degrees. Later in 1986, Siam Technical College became Siam Technical University, a full-fledged private, non-profit university. Three years later, the name was changed again to Siam University to reflect the diversity in the fields of study offered. In 1995, the international college was established. Currently, over 400 international students from more than 15 countries are enrolled in the international college of Siam University. The governing body of Siam University is the university council led by Kasem Wattanachai, councilor of the Privy Council of Thailand.

Khlong Khwang (Thai: คลองขวาง, pronounced [kʰlɔ̄ːŋ kʰwǎːŋ]) is a khwaeng (sub-district) of Phasi Charoen District, Thonburi side of Bangkok.

Bang Phrom (Thai: บางพรม, pronounced [bāːŋ pʰrōm]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Taling Chan district, Bangkok's Thonburi side.

Phetkasem 48 station (Thai: สถานีเพชรเกษม 48, RTGS: Sathani Phet Kasem Si Sip Paet, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː pʰét kā.sěːm sìː sìp pɛ̀ːt]) is a Bangkok MRT rapid transit station on the Blue Line, located above Phet Kasem Road located in Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located close to Soi Phet Kasem 48 on Phet Kasem Road inbound, a large and deep alley, including a shortcut to Soi Charan Sanitwong 13 on Charan Sanitwong Road where Charan 13 MRT station is located.

Phasi Charoen (Thai: ภาษีเจริญ, pronounced [pʰāː.sǐː t͡ɕā.rɤ̄ːn]) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. The district is bounded by other Bangkok districts (from north clockwise): Taling Chan, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok Yai, Thon Buri, Chom Thong, Bang Bon, and Bang Khae.

Wat Pak Nam Fang Tai (Thai: วัดปากน้ำฝั่งใต้) is a Thai Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It is an ancient private temple built since the Ayutthaya period. Its history is unclear, assumed to be built around 1827 or 1880 (corresponds to the King Rama V's reign), and received wis̄ungkhāms̄īmā (วิสุงคามสีมา, "the boundary of the temple was bestowed by the king") in the year 1882.It is a small and quiet monastery. Lagendarily the temple founders were brothers. Later, there was a misunderstanding, therefore dispersed to build different temples. It became a pair of temples, namely Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea (วัดปากน้ำฝั่งเหนือ), on the opposite side, with Wat Pak Nam Fang Tai.Its name meaning "the temple on the southern side of the confluence". Assumed it got this name because of its location near the confluence of Khlong Bang Chueak Nang and Khlong Bang Noi become a Khlong Mon on the southern side. The opposite is the northern side, the location of its counterpart, Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea.The pier in front of the temple is sanctum to a large number of iridescent shark. Feeding them with bread or releasing fish for merit are some of the activities that can be done by visitors.

Khuha Sawan (Thai: คูหาสวรรค์, pronounced [kʰūː.hǎː sā.wǎn]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Phasi Charoen District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 6,063 people.

Wat Khuha Sawan or full name Wat Kuha Sawan Worawihan (Thai: วัดคูหาสวรรค์, pronounced [wát kʰūː.hǎː sā.wǎn], วัดคูหาสวรรค์วรวิหาร, pronounced [wát kʰūː.hǎː sā.wǎn wɔ̄ːráʔwíʔhǎːn]) is a historic Buddhist temple in Phasi Charoen District, Bangkok.

Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea (Thai: วัดปากน้ำฝั่งเหนือ) is an old Thai Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It is a monastery paired with Wat Pak Nam Fang Tai, which is located on the opposite side with only the Khlong Bang Chueak Nang in the middle. The temple history is unclear, assumed to be built around 1827 and received wis̄ungkhāms̄īmā (วิสุงคามสีมา, "the boundary of the temple was bestowed by the king") in 1835. Legendarily both temple builders are brothers. Later, they had a disagreement, so they split up to build different temples, which is opposite the bank of the canal namely Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea ("the temple on the northern side of the confluence") and Wat Pak Nam Fang Tai ("the temple on the southern side of the confluence").Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea is smaller than Wat Pak Nam Fang Tai. The ordination hall is small in Mon style, facing east, with a single door without windows, known locally as mhaaud (มหาอุด). The principal Buddha image in the posture of meditation is called Luang Phor Petch (หลวงพ่อเพชร).Originally, it was inaccessible by car. In 2004, Wat Pak Nam Wittayakom School (present-day Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya's College), located on the temple grounds, opened up a space in the back of the school, thus allowing cars to access the temple.The temple is listed by the Fine Arts Department as a registered ancient monument in 2023.
