Saint-Pierre Castle (Italian: Castello di Saint-Pierre, French: Château de Saint-Pierre) is a late 12th century castle located at Saint-Pierre in the Aosta Valley, Italy.

Sarriod de la Tour Castle is a castle in the town of Saint-Pierre by the Dora Baltea River, in Northwestern Italy's Aosta Valley. The original castle was typical of the style built between the 10th and 12th centuries, and was greatly expanded by Jean Sarriod in 1420 and his son, Antoine, in 1478. The north wing's ground floor features a wooden-ceilinged "Hall of Heads", named for its decorative motifs.

The Pont d'Aël (French pronunciation: [pɔ̃ dɛl]) is a Roman aqueduct located in a village of the same name in the comune of Aymavilles in Aosta Valley, northern Italy. It was built in the year 3BC for irrigation purposes and supplying water for the newly founded colony of Augusta Praetoria, which is now known as Aosta. The water was directed through a neighbouring valley 66 m above the floor of the Aosta valley, through a sophisticated system. The aqueduct is 6 km long in total. In addition to its unusual position, the construction, which was originally thought to be a three-story structure, shows more unique features such as a control corridor below the water line, as well as explicit private funding. Today, the water channel of the aqueduct serves as a public walking trail. Besides the Pont d'Aël, two other Roman bridges in the Aosta valley are still intact: the Pont-Saint-Martin in the town of the same name and the Pont de Pierre in Aosta.

Villeneuve (Valdôtain: Veullanoua) is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley region of northwestern Italy. It lies on the Dora Baltea, a fast flowing river popular for white-water rafting, and some 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Aosta on the road to Courmayeur and the Mont Blanc Tunnel. It is the gate of Gran Paradiso National Park the oldest Italian national park. Nearby lie the ruins of the medieval castle, Châtel-Argent.

The Tour de Villa Castle (French: Tour de Ville), also long called the Tower of the Poor (French: Tour des Pauvres), is a private castle in the municipality of Gressan, Aosta Valley. It stands on a modest granite rock on the gentle slope that also hosts the village, west of the Côte de Gargantua, the lateral moraine of the Pila basin glacier at the end of the Gressan stream impluvium. It is a little-known medieval-era castle, partly because compared with other Aosta Valley castles, such as the regionally managed Fénis Castle or Issogne Castle, this one is less imposing though in excellent condition, and was until 2011 inhabited by its owners and not open to visitors. Already visible from the regional road of Gressan (SR 20), nestled among the apple orchards and vineyards that characterize the fertile municipal territory, it can be reached by taking the road to the hamlet of the same name; from it, the De la Plantaz Tower towards the valley and the Sainte-Marie-Magdeleine church, with its façade frescoed in 1453, towards the east are easily reached with a short walk.

Gressan (Valdôtain: Grésàn) is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley region of north-western Italy. Its patron saint is Saint Stephen.

Pila is an Alpine ski-resort in the Aosta Valley region of northern Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Gressan. There are more than 24 pistes (>70 km total length), including 4 blue runs, 29 red runs and 4 black runs, with a pipe zone and a slopestyle zone. There is one cable car, 3 gondolas, 8 chairlifts and 5 conveyors. The resort itself is at 1,814 metres altitude, while the highest skiing can be done at 2,700m.The nearest city to Pila is Aosta, to which it is connected by road and also a cable car system. It is the site of one of Laurent Chappis's works.
