Caroline Springs College was a government secondary school located in Caroline Springs, Victoria, Australia. Established in 2000, the school served students from kindergarten to Year 12 on four campuses. In 2011 Caroline Springs College council decided to split the four campuses making up Caroline Springs College into separate entities, and the former Caroline Springs campus became Brookside College. Brookside College is a Government P-9 school with around 1026 students (as at February 2016) .

Ravenhall recorded a population of 2,295 at the 2021 census.An outer suburban locality that adjoins the Melbourne metropolitan area, Ravenhall is located south of the Western Freeway and the suburb of Caroline Springs. To the east, outside the City of Melton boundary is the Melbourne suburb of Deer Park. The locality is named after the Ravenhall Munitions Siding, established during World War II. Ravenhall siding was named after George E Ravenhall, a Commonwealth public servant of 46 years in the Defence Department, the Munitions Department and then executive officer of the dangerous cargoes movements section, Department of Supply and Shipping.The nearest railway station to Ravenhall is Caroline Springs, located on Christies Road. As part of the Regional Rail Link project a bridge was built over the railway line on Christies Road to protect the nearby Boral Quarry from being isolated by the tracks. Part of the Regional Rail Link, which branches off from the Robinsons Road level crossing in Deer Park and forms the new section of the Geelong line, runs through Ravenhall. The Metropolitan Remand Centre, a maximum security prison, is located in Ravenhall. Ravenhall Correctional Centre, a medium-security male prison, is also located in Ravenhall. In June 2013, former Governor of the U.S. State of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger visited a 24-hour gym in Ravenhall, and was presented with the keys to the City of Melton by Mayor Kathy Majdlik.

Caroline Springs railway station is located on the Serviceton line in Victoria, Australia. It serves the western Melbourne suburb of Ravenhall, and opened on 28 January 2017.

Albanvale recorded a population of 5,641 at the 2021 census.The border of Albanvale consists of Station Road, Main Road West, Kororoit Creek, Fairfax Circuit, Concord Circuit and Brimbank Central Shopping Centre. The 2009 edition of the Melway Street Directory clearly marks the shopping centre in Deer Park. The suburb was established in the 1970s.

Burnside Heights recorded a population of 6,377 at the 2021 census.Burnside Heights is separated from the suburb of Burnside to the south by Kororoit Creek and Caroline Springs. Burnside Heights, although a young suburb, is well established, with nearby schools, medical centres, a kindergarten, a gymnasium and an AFL and cricket oval. Burnside Heights has several large shopping centres in close proximity, including Watergardens and Brimbank Central. Its major draw card is its close proximity (500m) to the Caroline Springs town square, which is a major activity centre for the area. In December 2010 the Watervale Shopping Centre was established within the suburb. Burnside Heights was developed from the creations of three developers under the names of VicUrban (Tenterfield), Triton Property Group (Taylors Park Estate) and Sunlands (Arbour on the Park). Burnside Heights was renamed from Burnside when the developers at the time sought to distinguish from the older part.

The City Vista Recreation Reserve is a soccer stadium in Plumpton, Melbourne, Australia. It has been the home stadium of Caroline Springs George Cross Football Club since its opening in 2019 and recently the temporary base of Western United (A-League Women).
