Sherwood High School is a public high school in Sherwood, Oregon, United States. The school competes in the 6A Oregon School Activities Association Pacific Conference.

Sherwood is a city in Washington County, Oregon, United States. Located in the southeast corner of the county, it is a residential community in the Tualatin Valley, southwest of Portland. As of the 2010 census, Sherwood had a population of 18,194 residents. The city's population for 2019 was estimated to be 19,879 by the U.S. Census. Sherwood was first incorporated in 1893 as a town. Originally named Smockville after its founder, James Christopher Smock, the town was given its current name by local businessman Robert Alexander in 1891. The name "Sherwood" may have come from Sherwood, Michigan or the Sherwood Forest in England.

Sherwood School District is a small school district that serves Sherwood, Oregon, United States. The administrative offices are at 23295 Southwest Main Street in Sherwood.The district currently has four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. They include Archer Glen Elementary School, Hawks' View Elementary School, Middleton Elementary School, Edy Ridge Elementary School, Sherwood Middle School, and Sherwood High School. The Sherwood Elementary School District 88J was established in about 1891, with other elementary districts later merged into the district. The high school district (9J) and elementary districts later consolidated to form a unified school district. Heather H. Cordie has been the district superintendent since 2010.

Sherwood Public Library is the library serving Sherwood in the U.S. state of Oregon. Operated by the city, it is a member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services. Established in 1935, it has an annual circulation of around 370,000 items.

Mountainside High School is one of six comprehensive high schools in Beaverton, Oregon. It opened in September 2017 with students in grades 9 and 10. It added a junior class in the fall of 2018, and a senior class the following year. The school graduated its first class in spring of 2020. It takes its name from its proximity to Cooper Mountain.

Kinton is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States. It is located near the northern shore of the Tualatin River, near the intersection of Oregon Route 210 and River Road, a major county arterial that runs northwest towards Hillsboro. Kinton is located approximately eight miles north of Newberg, six miles southwest of Beaverton, and seven miles southeast of Hillsboro. The community was once the site of a ferry (the Scholls Ferry) crossing the Tualatin River between Kinton and nearby Scholls. While the ferry has long since been replaced with a bridge, OR 210 is still known locally as Scholls Ferry Road. Kinton is in Oregon's wine country, with several notable wineries in the area.

Middleton, previously known as Stringtown, is an unincorporated community in Washington County, Oregon, United States. To improve communication between Portland and Lafayette, a post office was established at Middleton in 1869. A rail station was then established on July 1, 1892, soon before the post office closed, in 1905. A November 2011 vote for the annexation of portions of Middleton north of Brookman Road by the neighboring incorporated community of Sherwood failed.

Progress Ridge Town Square is a lifestyle center located in Beaverton, Oregon. It has over 30 stores. It is located next to a lake, known as Progress Lake, where there are fountains and a dock for recreational fishing. There are two floors, with a set of stairs and an elevator located next to the Menchies to get up to the second level.

Doriot–Rider Log House is a log house at Tigard in Washington County, Oregon. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in June 2008.

Bull Mountain is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Washington County, Oregon, United States. Bull Mountain is located mostly on a hill for which the community is named. It is bordered on the east by Tigard, on the south by King City, and Beaverton lies to the north. The north-eastern part of the Bull Mountain hill is now within the Tigard city limits, as the city has steadily annexed portions of the unincorporated region on its boundary. In 2010, the community became a census-designated place with a population of 9,133. Fire protection and EMS services are provided through Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.
