Novi Christian Academy (NCA), formerly Franklin Road Christian School (FRCS), in Novi, Michigan, is a private, coeducational, college preparatory Christian preK–12 day school with a non-denominational Christian philosophy. NCA is affiliated with Brightmoor Christian Church, and was founded in 1986. The church and school moved from Southfield, Michigan, to a new campus in Novi, Michigan, in 2000. The school mascot is the "Warriors". NCA competes in the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference (MIAC), and was red division champion for Varsity Men's Soccer, 2008; Varsity Men's Basketball, 2009; Varsity Women's Basketball, 2009; and Varsity Baseball, 2009.

Walled Lake is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 6,999 at the 2010 census. The city is bordered by Commerce Township on the north and the city of Novi on the south. As a western suburb of Metro Detroit, Walled Lake is about 20 miles (32.2 km) northwest of Detroit.

Walled Lake is the fourth largest lake in Oakland County, Michigan, United States, and is located in Walled Lake and Novi, Michigan in southeastern Michigan.The depth of Walled Lake reaches 60 feet (18 m).

The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is a school district with its headquarters in the Educational Services Center in Walled Lake, Michigan in Greater Detroit. The district has 12 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three high schools which serve over 12,000 children. Its service area includes all or portions of cities of Farmington Hills, Novi, Orchard Lake, Walled Lake and Wixom, the townships of Commerce, West Bloomfield and White Lake, and the village of Wolverine Lake.

Twelve Oaks Mall is a shopping mall with over 180 stores which is located in Novi, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The mall features anchor stores JCPenney, Macy's, and Nordstrom, with two vacant anchors previously Lord & Taylor and Sears. The mall is located on the Northeast corner of Interstate 96 and Novi Road. Taubman Centers is the owner and manager of the mall. It is among the largest malls owned by Taubman, and one of the largest in Michigan in terms of gross leasable area and total stores. The mall completed a major remodel and expansion in 2007.

Michigan Jewish Institute (MJI) was a Jewish-sponsored independent institution of higher and professional education in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area. Its administrative office was in Southfield, Michigan, and its primary campus was West Bloomfield Township. The institute was located at the 45-acre Campus of Living Judaism, affiliated with the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. In March 2016, the U.S. Department of Education denied its recertification of the school, no longer allowing it to access federal financial aid. The institute immediately suspended the majority of its operations.

Wolverine Lake is a village in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,312 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Commerce Township.

Walled Lake Central High School is a public high school of the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, located in Commerce Township, Michigan in Metro Detroit. It serves portions of the township, Wolverine Lake, a small portion of the City of Walled Lake, and a small portion of Wixom. It was built as Walled Lake High School in 1957, and, a year after its first additions were completed in 1968, took its current name. The original addition was part of a construction project that included construction of Walled Lake Western High School. More additions were completed in 1992 and 2000.

Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk is an open-air lifestyle center retail complex located across from the super-regional Twelve Oaks Mall in the city of Novi, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. The center features Dick's Sporting Goods as its anchor store, as well as a movie theater, game room, and several restaurants.

Novi Town Center is an open-air shopping center located at Novi Road and Grand River in Novi, Michigan, USA, in Metro Detroit. Owned by CBRE, the center is on Interstate 96, with the Twelve Oaks Mall on the other side of the road.

The Kittie C. McCoy House is a single-family home located at 1455 Benstein Road in Commerce Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

The Episcopal Diocese of Michigan is the Episcopal diocese comprising more than 70 congregations in the southeast part of Michigan.The diocese traces its roots to the founding of St. Paul's, Detroit in 1824. It became a diocese of the Episcopal Church in 1836, one year before the State of Michigan entered the Union. Initially encompassing the entire Michigan Territory, it split several times to reflect a growing population, and now comprises only the densely populated southeastern portion of the state. St. Paul's, Detroit was formally designated the cathedral of the diocese in 1912.
