Walled Lake Central High School

Commerce Township, officially the Charter Township of Commerce, is a charter township of Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 40,186 at the 2010 census.As a western suburb of Metro Detroit, Commerce Township is about 32 miles (51.5 km) northwest of the city of Detroit. The cities of Walled Lake and Wixom border to the south, and the township contains the village of Wolverine Lake. Originally settled as a resort destination, the township has seen a large population increase of permanent residents due to the townships rural environment and recreation areas, including most of Proud Lake State Recreation Area. The Huron River runs mostly north–south through the township, and the township also contains numerous lakes. The northern terminus of M-5 is within Commerce Township. This highway was originally meant to connect the spur route Interstate 275 back to Interstate 75, but the project was canceled due to the difficulty of construction around the township's numerous lakes, as well as the high property value of the area.

Wolverine Lake is a village in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,312 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Commerce Township.

The Andrews-Leggett House is a single-family home located at 722 Farr Street in Commerce Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The house contains the only documented examples of 1830s-40s stenciled wall decorations in Michigan.

Walled Lake is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 6,999 at the 2010 census. The city is bordered by Commerce Township on the north and the city of Novi on the south. As a western suburb of Metro Detroit, Walled Lake is about 20 miles (32.2 km) northwest of Detroit.

DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, in Commerce Township, Michigan, is one of the eight hospitals/institutes composing the Detroit Medical Center. The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is a school district with its headquarters in the Educational Services Center in Walled Lake, Michigan in Greater Detroit. The district has 12 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three high schools which serve over 12,000 children. Its service area includes all or portions of cities of Farmington Hills, Novi, Orchard Lake, Walled Lake and Wixom, the townships of Commerce, West Bloomfield and White Lake, and the village of Wolverine Lake.

The Kittie C. McCoy House is a single-family home located at 1455 Benstein Road in Commerce Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Michigan's 11th congressional district is a United States congressional district north of Detroit, comprising most of urbanized central Oakland County. Until 1993, the district covered the state's Upper Peninsula and the northernmost portion of the Lower Peninsula (a.k.a. Northern Michigan). In redistricting that year, it was shifted to the outer Detroit area. Its former geographical area is now the state's first district. Its current configuration dates from 2023. The 11th district was represented by Thad McCotter from 2003 until his resignation on July 6, 2012. He was replaced by Democrat David Curson, who won a special election on November 6, 2012. Curson was sworn in on November 13. He was replaced by Kerry Bentivolio in January 2013, who had been elected in the regular fall election in 2012. David Trott was elected in 2014 after defeating Bentivolio in the Republican primary, and took office in January 2015. He did not seek reelection in 2018. Democrat Haley Stevens was elected on November 6, 2018, and is the current representative for the eleventh district.

Walled Lake is the fourth largest lake in Oakland County, Michigan, United States, and is located in Walled Lake and Novi, Michigan in southeastern Michigan.The depth of Walled Lake reaches 60 feet (18 m).

The Detroit Finnish Cooperative Summer Camp Association is a camping facility located at 2524 Loon Lake Road in Wixom, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1997 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Walled Lake Northern (WLN) is a public high school in the Walled Lake Consolidated School District, located in Commerce Township, Michigan in Greater Detroit. It was completed in April, 2003 by TMP Associates, Inc. at a cost of $67.5 million. The school serves 1612 students.

Cooley Lake is a private, all-sports, 86-acre (35 ha) Oakland County, Michigan lake located in White Lake Township.
