Central Congregational Church (now known as City Church International) is a historic church building at 1530 N. Carroll in Dallas, Texas. The late Gothic Revival church building was constructed in 1920 for the Central Congregational Church congregation before it moved to another location. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The building is now home to City Church International.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Matthew, known simply as St. Matthew's Cathedral, is an Episcopal cathedral church located at 5100 Ross Avenue in Dallas, Texas, in the United States. The cathedral is the official seat of the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and is sometimes called the mother church of the diocese. It is listed by the Texas Historical Commission as a historic landmark.

The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas is a diocese of the Episcopal Church (United States) which was formed on December 20, 1895, when the Missionary District of Northern Texas was granted diocesan status at the denomination's General Convention the preceding October. Alexander Charles Garrett, who had served as the first bishop of the Missionary District of Northern Texas, remained as bishop of the new diocese. The diocese began with thirteen parishes. The Missionary District of Northern Texas was formed when a portion of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas was divided on February 2, 1875. Garrett named the oldest church in the district, which was Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church, as his cathedral church and Dallas as his see. Saint Matthew's has remained the cathedral church of the bishop since that time. Garrett served until his death in 1924. There are more than seventy parishes and schools in the diocese. The diocese is involved in many national and international missionary outreach programs. The principal offices of the diocese are at the Diocesan House, which is, along with the cathedral church, located on the former site of Saint Mary's Episcopal College for Women. The diocese divided in 1983, the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth was formed from the division.

Emanuel Lutheran Church is a historic Lutheran church at 4311 San Jacinto Ave. in Dallas, Texas. It was built in 1931 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The congregation is currently affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The building is also home to the Emanuel Community Center.

Belmont Park is a neighborhood in Old East Dallas, Texas (USA). The neighborhood is located near the area now known as Cityplace and also near Uptown. The boundaries of the neighborhood are N. Carroll Ave., Coles Manor Pl., Kirby St. and Weldon St. as shown in the City Of Dallas Plat filed April 8, 1944, Recorded in Volume 8 - 126 & 127. It is 2 miles from the center of Downtown Dallas. The neighborhood consists of a collection of houses constructed in 1943 & 1944. The houses were known as GI homes as they were built for soldiers returning from World War II. The houses are built on an area that was once the Belmont Park Golf Course. The neighborhood is surrounded by upscale apartments and retail and is close to restaurants, retail stores and the Arts District. It is one of the few neighborhoods where homes are still available close to downtown Dallas versus apartments.

Grace United Methodist Church, formerly Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historic Methodist church at 4105 Junius Street in Dallas, Texas. It was built in 1903 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) is an evangelical theological seminary in Dallas, Texas. It is known for popularizing Free grace theology and the theological system dispensationalism. DTS has campuses in Dallas, Houston, and Washington, D.C., as well as extension campuses in Atlanta, Austin, San Antonio, Nashville, Northwest Arkansas, Europe, Guatemala, and Australasia and a multi-lingual online education program.

Criswell College is a private Christian college and divinity school in Dallas, Texas. The college's stated mission is to provide ministerial and professional higher education for men and women preparing to serve as Christian leaders throughout society, while maintaining an institutional commitment to biblical inerrancy.

The Swiss Avenue Historic District is a residential neighborhood in East Dallas, Dallas, Texas (USA). It consists of installations of the Munger Place addition, one of East Dallas' early subdivisions. The Swiss Avenue Historic District is a historic district of the city of Dallas, Texas. The boundaries of the district comprise both sides of Swiss Avenue from Fitzhugh Street, to just north of La Vista, and includes portions of Bryan Parkway. The District includes the 6100-6200 blocks of La Vista Drive, the west side of the 5500 block of Bryan Parkway the 6100-6300 blocks of Bryan Parkway, the east side of the 5200-5300 block of Live Oak Street, and the 4900-6100 blocks of Swiss Avenue. The entire street of Swiss Avenue is not included within the bounds of the Swiss Avenue Historic District. Portions of the street run through Dallas' Peaks Suburban Addition neighborhood and Peak's Suburban Addition Historic District.

The Munger Place Historic District is a neighborhood and historic district in Old East Dallas, Texas (USA), generally lying between North Fitzhugh Avenue on the southwest, Gaston Avenue on the northwest, Henderson Avenue on the northeast, and Columbia Avenue on the southeast. Detailed boundaries are defined in the Munger Place Ordinance. It is a Dallas Landmark District and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Thomas Shiels House is located in Dallas, Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 and listed for sale in April 2015.

Vickery Place is a historic neighborhood in East Dallas, Texas, bounded on the north by Goodwin Avenue, on the west by North Central Expressway (US 75) and Henderson, on the south by Belmont, and on the east by Greenville Avenue. Although Vickery Place is considered by some to be part of the M Streets area, it is strictly speaking not as it is south of the Greenland Hills subdivision. Vickery Place has seen much improvement and property value growth over the past several years due to its close proximity to Downtown Dallas (2–3 miles from Downtown) and Uptown, and its location bordering the vibrant Lower Greenville Avenue and Knox-Henderson entertainment and shopping districts.
