Swiss Avenue Historic District

The Munger Place Historic District is a neighborhood and historic district in Old East Dallas, Texas (USA), generally lying between North Fitzhugh Avenue on the southwest, Gaston Avenue on the northwest, Henderson Avenue on the northeast, and Columbia Avenue on the southeast. Detailed boundaries are defined in the Munger Place Ordinance. It is a Dallas Landmark District and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas is a diocese of the Episcopal Church (United States) which was formed on December 20, 1895, when the Missionary District of Northern Texas was granted diocesan status at the denomination's General Convention the preceding October. Alexander Charles Garrett, who had served as the first bishop of the Missionary District of Northern Texas, remained as bishop of the new diocese. The diocese began with thirteen parishes. The Missionary District of Northern Texas was formed when a portion of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas was divided on February 2, 1875. Garrett named the oldest church in the district, which was Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church, as his cathedral church and Dallas as his see. Saint Matthew's has remained the cathedral church of the bishop since that time. Garrett served until his death in 1924. There are more than seventy parishes and schools in the diocese. The diocese is involved in many national and international missionary outreach programs. The principal offices of the diocese are at the Diocesan House, which is, along with the cathedral church, located on the former site of Saint Mary's Episcopal College for Women. The diocese divided in 1983, the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth was formed from the division.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Matthew, known simply as St. Matthew's Cathedral, is an Episcopal cathedral church located at 5100 Ross Avenue in Dallas, Texas, in the United States. The cathedral is the official seat of the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas and is sometimes called the mother church of the diocese. It is listed by the Texas Historical Commission as a historic landmark.

Lakewood Theater is an historic theater located in Lakewood, Dallas, Texas (USA). The restored Streamline Moderne theater, built in 1938, shows classic films and hosts many contemporary musical and comedy events.

Dallas Fire Station No. 16, at 5501 Columbia Ave. in Dallas, Texas, was built in 1917. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.It is a two-story red brick building designed by architect H.A. Overbeck. It has a "curvilinear Mission Revival parapet, cast stone geometric detailing, and knee brackets supporting a shed roof with red clay tiles." It also incorporates Prairie School architecture.

Innovation, Design, Entrepreneurship Academy at James W. Fannin is a personalized learning high school in Dallas, Texas and a part of the Dallas Independent School District. It occupies the former James W. Fannin Elementary School, which was built in 1915. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 and as a Dallas city landmark the following year.

Woodrow Wilson High School is a public high school located in East Dallas, Texas (U.S.). Woodrow enrolls students in grades 9–12 and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). It is located adjacent to the Junius Heights historic district.It was named in honor of former U.S. president Woodrow Wilson, who died just three years before the school building was completed. The structure is a Dallas Landmark, as well as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, the highest honor the state can bestow on a historic structure. The National Trust for Historic Preservation wrote that the Woodrow Wilson school "defines how a historic neighborhood school can remain a vital and integral part of the educational process and continue to serve surrounding historic neighborhoods."In 2009, DISD authorized Woodrow to apply to become certified as the first Dallas school to be authorized as an IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB degree). It earned its official designation as an IB World School on March 18, 2011. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The lone Texas restaurant is operated by Restaurants Acquisition I, L.L.C., whose company is based in Upper Kirby, Houston.The Colorado restaurants are operated by RMR Colorado, LLC, headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado in Greater Denver.

The Thomas Shiels House is located in Dallas, Texas. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 and listed for sale in April 2015.

Lakewood Country Club is a private country club in Dallas, Texas, United States, founded in 1912, and is now often referred to simply as Lakewood. It is located at the corner of Gaston and Abrams Avenues in Lakewood, Dallas, Texas, about five miles east, northeast of downtown Dallas. Lakewood Country Club hosted the Texas Victory Open, a PGA Tour golf tournament now known as the HP Byron Nelson Championship, in 1944, the only year the tournament was won by renowned professional golfer Byron Nelson, who is now the tournament's namesake.

Lakewood Heights is a residential neighborhood in Dallas, Texas (USA), bounded by Abrams Road to the east, Monticello Avenue to the north (not McCommas, as incorrectly shown on Google Maps), Skillman Street to the west, and Richmond Avenue to the south. It located in East Dallas. Lakewood Heights is approximately one-half mile (0.8 km) wide (east-west) and three-quarters of a mile (1.2 km) long (north-south). It covers approximately 240 acres or slightly less than 0.375 square miles (1000m²). It is adjacent to several East Dallas neighborhoods, including Lakewood, Lower Greenville, and Wilshire Heights.

Central Congregational Church (now known as City Church International) is a historic church building at 1530 N. Carroll in Dallas, Texas. The late Gothic Revival church building was constructed in 1920 for the Central Congregational Church congregation before it moved to another location. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The building is now home to City Church International.
