Women Making History in Portland, sometimes abbreviated as Women Making History, is a 2007 mural by Robin Corbo, located in north Portland, Oregon, in the United States.

Albina/Mississippi station is a light rail station on the MAX Yellow Line in Portland, Oregon, United States. It is the second stop northbound on the Interstate MAX extension. The station is located in the median of Interstate Avenue near the intersection of N Albina Street. The station serves the Lower Albina Industrial District, Emanuel Hospital, and an emerging and redeveloping commercial district. The station is a center platform, with its main artistic theme drawing upon the lively jazz scene that thrived in Albina in the post-World War II era. During planning for Interstate MAX, this station was located at the intersection of Interstate Avenue and Russell Street. The Union Pacific Railroad raised concerns on conflicts between pedestrian and truck traffic at the Russell Street intermodal entrance to Albina Yard, which led designers to shift the station two blocks south.

The Hryszko Brothers Building is a building located at 836 North Russell Street, in the historic Albina District of north Portland, Oregon, United States. It was established in 1905 by Polish immigrants as a meeting hall and aid station, later hosting meetings by the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the Polish Library. It is now operated by McMenamins under the name White Eagle Saloon & Hotel, or simply White Eagle. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Fremont Bridge is a steel tied-arch bridge over the Willamette River located in Portland, Oregon, United States. It carries Interstate 405 and US 30 traffic between downtown and North Portland where it intersects with Interstate 5. It has the longest main span of any bridge in Oregon and is the second longest tied-arch bridge in the world (after Caiyuanba Bridge across the Yangtze River, China). The bridge was designed by Parsons, Brinckerhoff, Quade and Douglas, and built by Murphy Pacific Corporation.The bridge has two decks carrying vehicular traffic, each with four lanes. The upper deck is signed westbound on US 30 and southbound on I-405. The lower deck is signed eastbound on US 30 and northbound on I-405.

"Weed the People", officially "Weed the People: A Cannabis Legalization Celebration", was an event held in Portland on July 3, 2015, two days after recreational marijuana became legal in the U.S. state of Oregon. Sponsored by the Portland Mercury and two cannabis companies, the event was attended by an estimated 1,500–2,000 people, who were provided up to seven grams of marijuana for immediate consumption or to take home. Organizers complied with restrictions on recreational sales by distributing free cannabis and required attendees to pay an entry fee. More than 1,300 tickets were sold, but the building's 500-person capacity meant long wait times to enter. Media outlets reported on the historic nature of the event, which was described as a "stoner's paradise" and a celebration of freedom.

The Centennial Mills, originally known as the Crown Mills, is a complex of twelve buildings along the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon's Pearl District, in the United States. The Portland Development Commission has owned Centennial Mills since 2000. The buildings are slated for demolition, except for the flour and feed mill buildings. Between Summer 2015 and Fall 2016, most of the buildings on the property was demolished.
