Kirschau

Schirgiswalde-Kirschau (Sorbian: Šěrachow-Korzym) is a town in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. It was formed on January 1, 2011 by the merger of the former municipalities Schirgiswalde, Kirschau and Crostau.

Wilthen (German) or Wjelećin (Upper Sorbian) is a town in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. It is near the border with the Czech Republic, 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) south of Bautzen and 50 kilometres (31 mi) east of Dresden.

Mönchswalder Berg is a hill belonging to the district of Bautzen in Saxony, Germany. It is a part of the Lusatian Highlands and lays approximately 3 km North of Wilthen. Panorama The best panoramic view can be enjoyed from the top of the viewing tower. To the North, the land is flat and one sees the city of Bautzen, Bautzen Reservoir, the Boxberg Power-plant and by clear weather the smokestacks of the power-plant at Schwarze Pumpe. To the South, the Valtenberg, the Ungerberg with its unambiguous observation tower and a few peaks from the Saxon Switzerland such as the Big and Small Zschirnstein are visible. To the West, the big Picho with its antenna tower whilst to the East, the Czorneboh, Hochstein, Bieleboh, Lausche, Tannenberg and Jeschken. Peaks from the Jizera and Giant Mountains can be observed only under placid weather conditions.

Schirgiswalde (in Sorbian Šěrachów, in Czech Šerachov) is a town and a former municipality in the district of Bautzen in Saxony in Germany. Since 1 January 2011, it is part of the town Schirgiswalde-Kirschau. It is located on the river Spree, 15 km south of Bautzen. The small town is an official place of relaxation (staatlich anerkannter Erholungsort). Together with the villages of Crostau and Kirschau it represents the administrative community of Schirgiswalde. Some smaller parts of the town are Neuschirgiswalde upon a hill and Petersbach.

Obergurig (German) or Hornja Hórka (Upper Sorbian) is a municipality in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. The municipality is part of the recognized Sorbian settlement area in Saxony. Upper Sorbian has an official status next to German, all villages bear names in both languages. The villages of Singwitz (Sorbian: Dźěžnikecy), Mönchswalde (Mnišonc), Lehn (Lejno), Schwarznaußlitz (Čorne Noslicy), Großdöbschütz (Debsecy) and Kleindöbschütz (Małe Debsecy) belong to the municipality.

Crostau (Sorbian Chróstawa) is a village and former municipality in Upper Lusatia in the Bautzen district of eastern Saxony in Germany. It became part of the municipality of Schirgiswalde-Kirschau on 1 January 2011.

Großpostwitz (German) or Budestecy (Upper Sorbian) is a municipality in the east of Saxony, Germany. It belongs to Bautzen district and lies south of the town of Bautzen. The municipality except Eulowitz is part of the recognized Sorbian settlement area in Saxony. Upper Sorbian has an official status next to German, all villages bear names in both languages.

Funkenburg is a mountain in the Lusatian Highlands in the Bautzen district of Saxony, southeastern Germany. It is near the border to the Czech republic.

Kälbersteine is a mountain in the district of Bautzen, Saxony. It is a member of the Lusatian Mountains and is located roughly a km south of Crostau.

Thromberg (sorbian Lubin) is a mountain of Saxony, southeastern Germany. It is situated six kilometres south-east of Bautzen and part of the Upper Lusatian mountains.

Weifaer Höhe is a mountain of Saxony, southeastern Germany.

Wehrsdorf (German) or Wernarjecy (Upper Sorbian) is a small village in a valley of the Lusatian Highlands in the region of Upper Lusatia (Oberlausitz) in Saxony, Germany. It has about 1,776 inhabitants and belongs to an administrative community of three different villages, with Sohland an der Spree and Taubenheim. This community is offícially called Sohland after the largest of these villages. Altogether, the community has about 7,700 inhabitants. The village is near the border to the Czech Republic.
