Mount Victoria railway station is a heritage-listed former barracks and now staff accommodation, guest accommodation, railway signal box and railway station located on the Main Western line in Mount Victoria in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by NSW Government Railways and built from 1868 to 1913 by Allan McClean and James Barrie (1868 building). It is also known as Mount Victoria Railway Station group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station opened on 1 May 1868.The Platform 2 building dates from 1868 with a railway refreshment room added in 1884. The Platform 1 building dates from 1911 when the line was duplicated. An extensive yard including a locomotive depot existed west of the station.

Mount Piddington (Aboriginal: Wirindi, a mountain in the Explorer Range of the Blue Mountains region, is located south of the village of Mount Victoria in New South Wales, Australia. It is accessible from the village via a loop road and is the starting point of several bushwalking tracks leading to caves, rock climbing areas, and the valley floor.The mountain overlooks the Kanimbla Valley, although views are somewhat obstructed by eucalypt trees.

It was designed and built by NSW Government Railways and built from 1897 to 1985. It is also known as the Blackheath Railway Station Group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station opened on 28 December 1869.

Mount York, a mountain in the western region of the Explorer Range, part of the Blue Mountains Range that is a spur off the Great Dividing Range, is located approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) west of Sydney, just outside Mount Victoria in New South Wales, Australia. Mount York has an elevation of 1,061 metres (3,481 ft) AHD  and is a projection of the Blue Mountains dissected plateau, creating a promontory of the western escarpment with a minor rise at its summit.

Blackheath has a vibrant artistic community and hosts two monthly markets – the Blackheath Growers Market and The Blackheath Community Market, as well as annual Christmas markets, antique markets and bimonthly craft markets. The town has many community activities, such as the Blackheath Philosophy Forum, which was founded in 2002 to arrange public discussion forums on philosophy and related topics.As Blackheath has grown, more and more shops have appeared. Various shops from the late 1800s still stand in Blackheath.

Collits' Inn is a heritage-listed former inn and now functions, accommodation and restaurant at Hartley Vale Road, Hartley Vale, City of Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Pierce Collits and built in 1823. It is also known as Collitts Inn and Golden Fleece Inn. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Mermaids Cave is an undercut sandstone cave located in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. It was named in 1882 and was also known as Mermaid's Glen. It is accessible by a short walking trail from the Megalong Valley road. A scene from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was filmed there.

It is an unbounded locality within the locality of Blackheath, south-west of the township of Blackheath. The Shipley Plateau, on which the village is built, divides the Megalong Valley and Kanimbla Valley.

The Govetts Leap Falls, or simply Govetts Leap, is a bridal veil waterfall on the Govetts Leap Brook where it falls 180 metres (590 ft) over Taylor Wall, located at Govetts Leap Lookout, approximately 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi) east of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales, Australia.
