Govetts Leap Falls

Evans Lookout is a lookout in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia. Overlooking the sandstone cliffs of the Grose River Valley, the lookout is also an access point for pedestrian access to the valley floor. Nearby walks include the Grand Canyon and trails to Govetts Leap lookout. A popular, easily accessible location, the lookout is located within the Blue Mountains National Park close to the town of Blackheath.

Medlow Dam is a heritage-listed major gated concrete-walled arch dam across the Adams Creek in the Blue Mountains region, located at Beauchamp Road, Medlow Bath in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The dam was designed and built in 1907 by the NSW Department of Public Works. The dam's purpose is primarily for the potable water supply of the upper Blue Mountains region. The impounded reservoir is called Medlow Bath Reservoir. The dam is also known as Medlow Bath Dam, Lake Medlow Dam, Adams Creek Dam and Medlow Bath Reservoir. The property is owned by Sydney Water, a state-owned corporation of the Government of New South Wales. The dam was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 1999.

Blackheath (postcode: 2785) is an Australian town located near the highest point of the Blue Mountains, between Katoomba and Mount Victoria in New South Wales. The town's altitude is about 1,065 m (3,494 ft) AHD  and it is located about 120 km (75 mi) west north-west of Sydney, 11 km (6.8 mi) north-west of Katoomba, and about 30 km (19 mi) south-east of Lithgow. Blackheath has a vibrant artistic community and hosts two monthly markets – the Blackheath Growers Market and The Blackheath Community Market, as well as annual Christmas markets, antique markets and bimonthly craft markets. The town has many community activities, such as the Blackheath Philosophy Forum, which was founded in 2002 to arrange public discussion forums on philosophy and related topics.As Blackheath has grown, more and more shops have appeared. Various shops from the late 1800s still stand in Blackheath.

Blackheath railway station is a heritage-listed former railway bridge and now railway station located on the Main Western line in Blackheath in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by NSW Government Railways and built from 1897 to 1985. It is also known as the Blackheath Railway Station Group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station opened on 28 December 1869.

Katoomba Airfield (ICAO: YKAT) is an Australian airfield located in the town of Medlow Bath, New South Wales. The airport is 11.5 kilometres (7.1 mi) by road from the Central Business District of the nearby city of Katoomba. It is a country airfield that has seen minimal use. The airfield is currently closed to airplanes and helicopters. The site remains available for use by emergency services. The airport is Crown Land.

Mermaids Cave is an undercut sandstone cave located in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. It was named in 1882 and was also known as Mermaid's Glen. It is accessible by a short walking trail from the Megalong Valley road. A scene from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was filmed there.

The Blue Mountains walking tracks are heritage-listed picnic areas, walking tracks and rest areas located in the Blue Mountains National Park, in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1880. The property is owned by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The bushland in Michael Eades Reserve and surrounds is rich in sensitive vegetation, unique to the upper Blue Mountains plateau, in New South Wales, Australia. Many of the significant plants in the area, such as Acacia ptychoclada and Grevillea acanthifolia, do not appear anywhere else in the world.

Medlow Bath railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Western line in Medlow Bath in the City of Blue Mountains local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by NSW Government Railways and built from 1902 to 1922. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The station opened on 21 January 1880 as Browns Siding Pulpit Hill, and was renamed Medlow on 1 March 1883 and Medlow Bath on 1 October 1903.

The Hydro Majestic Hotel is located in Medlow Bath, New South Wales, Australia. The hotel is located on a clifftop overlooking the Megalong Valley on the western side of the Great Western Highway. The hotel is heritage listed and is notable for its unusual mix of architectural styles, including Art Deco and Edwardian. One key feature is the Casino dome (pictured). The dome was bought in Chicago and shipped to Australia, before being shipped to the Blue Mountains by bullock train and reassembled at the site.

Shipley is a small hamlet village in the state of New South Wales, Australia, in the City of Blue Mountains. It is an unbounded locality within the locality of Blackheath, south-west of the township of Blackheath. The Shipley Plateau, on which the village is built, divides the Megalong Valley and Kanimbla Valley.

Yosemite is an unbounded locality within the locality of Katoomba and to the north of the township of Katoomba in the state of New South Wales, Australia in the City of Blue Mountains. It has been known as "Yosemite Valley", "Yosemite Park" and North Katoomba. Yosemite Valley Post Office was opened on 14 May 1928 and closed in 1956. There is currently an Australia Post distribution centre operating from Minni Ha Ha Rd.It is home to Katoomba and Yosemite creeks and also the "Minnehaha falls". Also known as "Yosemite Park" it is home to thousands of residents, and has its own local school and a cafe. There are a number of parks, a local community garden and a school. The area is surrounded by typical Australian bushland and sandstone cliffs. It was developed from the early 1900s and has been steadily increasing in population until the present day, with very little free land remaining. To the north are many kilometres of bush track. The tracks were popular with horse riders and motorbike riders but have since been closed down by council to anything but bushwalkers.
