Vaneau (French pronunciation: ​[vano]) is a station on Line 10 of the Paris Metro, located on the border of the 6th and 7th arrondissements.

The Fontaine du Fellah, also known as the Egyptian Fountain, located at 52 rue de Sèvres in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, next to the entrance of the Vaneau metro station, was built in 1806 during the rule of Napoleon Bonaparte, in the neo-Egyptian style inspired by Napoleon's Egyptian campaign. It is the work of architect François-Jean Bralle and sculptor Pierre-Nicolas Beauvallet. It has been listed since 1977 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

The Musée Hébert is a museum located in the Hôtel de Montmorency-Bours at 85, rue du Cherche-Midi, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. It has been closed since 2004 for renovations. The museum is housed within the Petit-Montmorency, constructed in 1743 by the Comte de Montmorency, and former home of academic painter Ernest Hébert (1817–1908). After his adopted son's death in 1974, the building became state property and opened as a museum in 1984. Since 2004, the museum Hébert has been affiliated with the Musée d’Orsay, and indefinitely closed for renovations. The museum contains collections of Hébert's work, furniture, decorative items, souvenirs, and photographs, set within rooms almost unchanged since the 18th century. His paintings include portraits of literary critic Jules Lemaître, and two noted grandes horizontales, La Païva and Madame de Loynes.

The Miraculous Medal (French: Médaille miraculeuse), also known as the Medal of Our Lady of Graces, is a devotional medal, the design of which was originated by Saint Catherine Labouré following her apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rue du Bac, Paris, France. It was made by goldsmith Adrien Vachette.According to the teaching of the Catholic Church, the use of sacramentals such as this medal prepares people to receive grace and disposes them to cooperate with it.

Catherine Labouré (May 2, 1806 – December 31, 1876) was a French nun who was a member of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul and is a Marian visionary. She is believed to have relayed the request from the Blessed Virgin Mary to create the famous Miraculous Medal of Our Lady of Graces worn by millions of people around the world. Labouré spent forty years caring for the aged and infirm. For this, she is called the patroness of seniors.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Graces of the Miraculous Medal, or more simply "Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal", in 140 Rue du Bac, Paris, France, is the chapel where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Catherine Labouré in 1830 and requested the creation of the medal that came to be known as the "Miraculous Medal". The chapel was part of the mother house of the religious congregation of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul. Catherine Labouré was a seminary sister (novice) there when she witnessed the Marian apparitions.The chapel is more commonly referred to by its address, "140 rue du Bac", or even simply the street on which it is located, Rue du Bac, Paris.

Rue Vaneau is a street in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France. It is named after Louis Vaneau (1811–1830), a student of the École Polytechnique, who was killed while charging the Caserne de Babylone (barracks) during the July Revolution. It is close to the personal residence of the Prime Minister of France, rue de Varenne. Karl Marx lived in this street when he was in Paris between 1843 and 1845. It is now populated by Hotels, apartments, and high end department stores.

The Jardin Catherine-Labouré is a park of about 7,000 square metres in Paris's Seventh Arrondissement, on Rue Babylone. This garden with grapevines and ornamental berries was the potager of the convent of the Daughters of Charity since 1633 and has been open to the public since 1977. There is a community garden along with an arbor-covered pathway.

Founded in 1838 and revamped almost completely by Aristide Boucicaut in 1852, it was one of the first modern department stores. The Académie Vitti was an art school in Paris, France. It was founded and operated by a family of Italian artists' models from the Valle di Comino to the south of Rome. The Academy was progressive in its support for women artists, and gained a high reputation. Teachers included Paul Gauguin and Frederick William MacMonnies.

The Centre Sèvres is a university-level, Jesuit faculty of philosophy and theology on the Rue de Sèvres, in the heart of Paris. It was formed in 1974 from the merger of former Jesuit schools of philosophy at Lyon-Fourvière and philosophy at Chantilly. It is no longer restricted to Jesuits but welcomes men and women, lay and religious.
