WPTT (AM)
WPTT (1540 kHz, "Party 92.9") is a commercial AM radio station in Hartford, Wisconsin, serving the Greater Milwaukee radio market. It airs an adult hits radio format and is owned by Tomsun Media LLC, which is operated by David and Connie Stout. The radio studios are on North Main Street at Summer Street in Hartford. WPTT is a daytimer station. Its transmitter is co-located with WTKM-FM's tower, on West Waterford Road. WPTT is powered at 500 watts using a non-directional antenna but must go off the air at night to avoid interference. AM 1540 is a clear channel frequency, reserved for Class A stations KXEL in Waterloo, Iowa, and ZNS-1 in Nassau, Bahamas. Programming on WPTT is heard around the clock on 200-watt FM translator W225CP at 92.9 MHz. It uses the translator dial position in its moniker "Party 92.9."
