WTKM-FM (104.9 MHz) is a commercial FM radio station in Hartford, Wisconsin, serving the Greater Milwaukee radio market. It is owned by Tomsun Media, LLC, which is operated by David and Connie Stout. The radio studios are on North Main Street at Summer Street. WTKM-FM airs a full service radio format of classic country music, with local news, weather, talk and high school sports. WTKM-FM is a Class A FM station. It has an effective radiated power of 5,800 watts. The transmitter is on West Waterford Road in Hartford, shared with its sister station, WPTT 1540 AM.

WPTT (1540 kHz, "Party 92.9") is a commercial AM radio station in Hartford, Wisconsin, serving the Greater Milwaukee radio market. It airs an adult hits radio format and is owned by Tomsun Media LLC, which is operated by David and Connie Stout. The radio studios are on North Main Street at Summer Street in Hartford. WPTT is a daytimer station. Its transmitter is co-located with WTKM-FM's tower, on West Waterford Road. WPTT is powered at 500 watts using a non-directional antenna but must go off the air at night to avoid interference. AM 1540 is a clear channel frequency, reserved for Class A stations KXEL in Waterloo, Iowa, and ZNS-1 in Nassau, Bahamas. Programming on WPTT is heard around the clock on 200-watt FM translator W225CP at 92.9 MHz. It uses the translator dial position in its moniker "Party 92.9."

Zivko's Ballroom was a music venue located in Hartford, Wisconsin. The Art Deco ballroom was built in 1928, although it was not until 1949 that it became Zivko's Ballroom, after being purchased by businessman Marty Zivko. Some of the artists that performed at Zivko's include Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Joe Walsh, Ted Nugent, Cheap Trick, Ricky Nelson and Chubby Checker. Today the building, now known as the Chandelier Ballroom, is used mainly for wedding receptions.

The population of the town was 4,031 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Pike Lake is located in the town. Toland's Prairie or Toland Prairie, later Toland, was a rural unincorporated community in Erin township in Washington County, Wisconsin near the Dodge County line, northwest of Alderley and east of Monches, around the intersection of Clare Lane and Roosevelt Road (Sections 19, 20, 19 and 30). It was named after pioneer farmer and politician Patrick Toland. There was a Toland's Prairie post office from 1846 to 1883; in 1865 the postmaster was John Toland. In 1883 the name was changed, and the Toland post office operated just across the county line in Ashippun from 1883 to 1900.

Alderley is an unincorporated community located in the town of Ashippun, Dodge County, Wisconsin, United States. Alderley is located on Highway O approximately 7 miles (11 km) north of Stone Bank, 3 miles (5 km) north of the unincorporated community of Mapleton, and 3 miles (5 km) east of Ashippun. The community was named by early settlers for Alderley Edge, England.

The airport is owned by and located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of the city of Hartford. It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025, in which it is categorized as a local general aviation facility.Although many U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this facility is assigned HXF by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA.

The Kissel Motor Car Company was an American automobile and truck manufacturer founded by Louis Kissel and his sons, in Hartford, Wisconsin. The company custom built high-quality automobiles, hearses, fire trucks, taxicabs, and trucks from their plant at 123 Kissel Avenue in Hartford.

The Basilica and National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians at the Holy Hill is a Roman Catholic Marian shrine in Erin, Wisconsin, United States, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the venerated title Help of Christians. The land and the shrine serves as a religious pilgrimage and attracts approximately 300,000 visitors each year. Pope Benedict XVI raised the shrine to the status of Minor Basilica via Pontifical Decree on 11 July 2006.
