Badarpur is a historic town in South East Delhi district in Delhi. Badarpur is famous for its Badarpur Border bus terminal. It is also serviced by Badarpur Border station of Delhi Metro on Violet Line. The bus terminal and metro station have been renamed by Delhi Government as 'Badarpur border'. There is another bus terminal from Faridabad Side namely Badarpur border Bus terminal from Haryana roadways and UP parivahan buses and Echo vans goes for Southern Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh. It is situated on Mathura Road joining Delhi with Mathura and Agra, on NH 2 (Delhi-Kolkata) National Highway, a part of the historic Grand Trunk Road that once joined Bengal to Kabul. It is the starting point for the on the "Mehrauli- Badarpur Road" that passed through Tughlaqabad, Khanpur, Tigri and Saket towards Mehrauli. The Delhi Faridabad Skyway elevated highway also opened at the starting of Mehrauli- Badarpur Road. Badarpur is also home to the Badarpur Thermal Power Station (BTPS) of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), opened in 1973 and an important power source to South Delhi, South East Delhi and East Delhi districts.

JJ Colony is a resettlement colony on the Gram Sabha Land of Madanpur Khadar Village in the south-eastern region of Delhi. It is located in close proximity to Sarita Vihar and Kalindi Kunj, about 1 kilometers from the Uttar Pradesh border. It was created in 2004 when the slum dwellers from across Delhi were forcefully evicted and relocated to the urban peripheries. There is Asia's biggest ecological park near Mithapur which is known as NTPC Eco Park.

Badarpur Thermal Power Station was a Power Station located at Badarpur area in NCT Delhi. The power plant was one of the coal based power plants of NTPC. The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) for North India Region under Ministry of Power, Government of India was established at Badarpur in 1974, within the Badarpur Thermal power plant (BTPS) complex. The power plant permanently shut down on 15 October 2018.

The Apex Tower and Ceyane Tower, colloquially referred to as the Noida Supertech Twin Towers, were incomplete residential buildings in Sector-93A, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The towers were part of real estate company Supertech Limited's Emerald Court residential complex. The Supreme Court of India upheld the original decision by the Allahabad High Court and ordered the buildings' demolition on 28 August 2022. They were the tallest structures in India to be voluntarily demolished.

Supernova Spira is a supertall mixed use skyscraper in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located in Sector 94, Amrapali Marg, Noida. At 300 meters and 80 floors it is the tallest tower in northern India and the second tallest skyscraper in India.

The Delhi Eye transportable Ferris wheel installation at Kalindi Kunj Park in the Okhla neighbourhood of Delhi, India, opened to the public in October 2014.The wheel can carry six passengers, from which Akshardham Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutb Minar and Red Fort are visible on a clear day. It was constructed by Dutch Wheels BV.Conflicting reports credit the Atlantic Water World with an overall height of either (approximately) 45 metres (148 ft) or 61 metres (200 ft) (The Indian Express suggests both), and a diameter of "slightly over 40" m (130 ft).
