The European University of Tirana (Albanian: Universiteti Europian i Tiranës, UET) is an accredited private university in Tirana, Albania. It was established in 2006 by four PhD students (at the time): Adri Nurellari, Blendi Kajsiu, Ermal Hasimja, and Henri Çili, in collaboration with business manager Laert Duraj and journalist Robert Rakipllari.UET was licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Education & Sciences on 20 September 2006 following the decision of the Council of Ministers Nr. 636/2006 and is fully accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency of Higher Education.

University of New York Tirana (UNYT) is the first private university in Albania founded in 2002. UNYT offers English language teaching including three cycles of studies.

The Central Technical Construction Archive (AQTN) was established on July 26, 1993 in Tirana, Albania. It gathered technical construction projects of former institutes (ISP, N.GJ.GJ, ISPUK, ISPUN, ISPU) which belonged to Albania's former Ministry of Construction fund, materials from the Municipality of Tirana and KRRTSH decisions. AQTN's documentary archive has over 45,000 files and 556,000 pages, with the first document dating back to 1911 "Reconstruction of Buna Bridge". The main task of the archive is to preserve, maintain and manage the technical documentation in the field of construction to meet the requirements of private and public entities for technical documentation at its disposal.

The Botanical Gardens of Tirana is a scenic botanical gardens complex located in southern Tirana, Albania. It is the only botanical gardens complex in Albania.

The Universal Hospital Tirana is a 120-bed hospital on Kavajë Street in western Tirana, Albania, offering medical services. Services are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Universal Hospital Tirana is one of the largest and the most comprehensive private hospitals in the country. The hospital belongs to Ege Saglik Tesisleri ve Egitim Muesseseleri AS, a Turkish company based in Izmir/Turkey and the majority shareholder of this company is Universal Saglik Yatirimlari Holding, again a Turkish company based in Istanbul/Turkey and chaired by Azmi Ofluoglu. Universal Tirana has a main hospital building which houses all inpatient facilities such as patient rooms, two catheterization laboratories, 5 surgical operating suites, intensive care, emergency services, nursery and neonatology, and labor and delivery. The main building also has outpatient services such as the Clinical Laboratory Services, Radiology, and Physical Therapy. The Polyclinic building contains various outpatient services from lasik surgery to dialysis. Universal Hospital Tirana's Clinical Laboratory has the capacity to serve over 500 patients per day and produce 10,000 analyses per day using the equipment from around the world. The lab is also a reference lab, which operates at international standards.

Garden Building Tirana is a mixed-use skyscraper in Tirana, Albania. Designed by Archea Associati, the B-shaped building has two high-rising towers which peak at a top height of 85 meters (297 ft) and 24 floors with the tallest tower. Opened in 2021, the building complex displays residential suites and commercial spaces.

Natural Sciences Museum "Sabiha Kasimati" (in Albanian: Muzeu i Shkencave të Natyrës "Sabiha Kasimati") is a natural science museum in Tirana, Albania.

Arben Broci High School is a high school located in Tirana, Albania. Arben Broci High was opened in 1948. The school was named after Arben Broci, who was one of the four victims that was killed in the anti-communist Albanian protests.The school was rebuilt as part of a government programme to upgrade high schools in Tirana. The reconstruction was completed in the summer of 2006. It was architecturally designed by Arkimade.

The Selman Stërmasi Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Selman Stërmasi) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tirana, Albania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KF Tirana. The stadium holds 9,500 people (all seated). It is named after Selman Stërmasi, one of KF Tirana's best players of all time. The stadium was also used by Dinamo and Partizani until 2010, however, due to failure to cooperate on the admittance fees, these teams were not allowed to use the stadium any further.

The Sports University of Tirana (UST) (Albanian: Universiteti i Sporteve të Tiranës) is a university in Albania that trains fitness teachers and sports specialists, sport and tourism managers, guides, and physical education teachers. It awards Masters and PhD programs. The academy started in 1960 with special Decree of the Council of Ministers Nr. 394, dated 28 September 1960. One year later it was named Vojo Kushi. The university has these faculties: Fakulteti i Shkencave të Lëvizjes Fakulteti i Veprimtarisë Fizike dhe Rekreacionit Fakulteti i Shkencave të Rehabilitimit Instituti i Kërkimit Shkencor të Sportit

Zoopark Tirana (Albanian: Parku Zoologjik i Tiranës) is a public zoo located in Tirana, Albania. It is the only zoo of its kind in the country. Built during 1960–1961, the zoo is concentrated in an area of 6.09 ha (15.0 acres) in the southern part of the city, between the Grand Park and the Botanical Gardens.
