The European University of Tirana (Albanian: Universiteti Europian i Tiranës, UET) is an accredited private university in Tirana, Albania. It was established in 2006 by four PhD students (at the time): Adri Nurellari, Blendi Kajsiu, Ermal Hasimja, and Henri Çili, in collaboration with business manager Laert Duraj and journalist Robert Rakipllari.UET was licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Education & Sciences on 20 September 2006 following the decision of the Council of Ministers Nr. 636/2006 and is fully accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency of Higher Education.

Arben Broci High School is a high school located in Tirana, Albania. Arben Broci High was opened in 1948. The school was named after Arben Broci, who was one of the four victims that was killed in the anti-communist Albanian protests.The school was rebuilt as part of a government programme to upgrade high schools in Tirana. The reconstruction was completed in the summer of 2006. It was architecturally designed by Arkimade.

University of New York Tirana (UNYT) is the first private university in Albania founded in 2002. UNYT offers English language teaching including three cycles of studies.

The Selman Stërmasi Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Selman Stërmasi) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tirana, Albania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KF Tirana. The stadium holds 9,500 people (all seated). It is named after Selman Stërmasi, one of KF Tirana's best players of all time. The stadium was also used by Dinamo and Partizani until 2010, however, due to failure to cooperate on the admittance fees, these teams were not allowed to use the stadium any further.

Garden Building Tirana is a mixed-use skyscraper in Tirana, Albania. Designed by Archea Associati, the B-shaped building has two high-rising towers which peak at a top height of 85 meters (297 ft) and 24 floors with the tallest tower. Opened in 2021, the building complex displays residential suites and commercial spaces.

Natural Sciences Museum "Sabiha Kasimati" (in Albanian: Muzeu i Shkencave të Natyrës "Sabiha Kasimati") is a natural science museum in Tirana, Albania.

The Tirana Olympic Park Feti Borova (Parku Olimpik “Feti Borova”) is a multi-purpose arena in Tirana, Albania. The Government of Albania held a public tender for the construction of a sports hall in order to host games. The complex was inaugurated the 4 June 2017 with a basketball match between ex-players from the National Teams from Albania and Kosovo. The Prime Minister, Edi Rama and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj participated as well in that game. The Olympic Park was built on the site of the Sports Complex of the Sports Services Agency, which was formerly known as the Dinamo Complex, near the Grand Park of Tirana. The former Dinamo Complex used to be a reception centre for Kosovar citizens during the Kosovo War of 1999. The original design for the Olympic Park was released on 28 April 2014, and the Prime Minister, Edi Rama officially unveiled the project at the 'Hall of Maps' in the Prime Ministers Office in a meeting with prominent Albanian sports personalities including Erkand Qerimaj, Daniel Godelli and Luiza Gega. On 10 September 2014 a budget of 605,262,310 Albanian lek was approved, which was around 4,323,302 Euros at the time, thus paving the way for companies to tender offers for the construction of the Olympic Park.

Marin Barleti University (UMB) (Albanian: Universiteti Marin Barleti) is a private institution of higher education in Albania named after the 15th-century historian/humanist, Marin Barleti, author of the historic account on the Skanderbeg epics. The university was established in 2005 by Marin Barleti Ltd, which is part of DUDAJ Group. Its campus is in Tirana National Park and has facilities such as a sports yard and cafeteria which provide for the student's social lives. The university offers majors and minors in fields such as information technologies, business law, marketing, international business, international relations, management, public administration, English, and social psychology. It provides library and computing and networking resources, and major campus buildings are wired to the university network. As part of the Dudaj Group, MBU offers students the opportunity to practice their knowledge through internships or summer jobs at business activities of the group. MBU provides financial aid schemes to admitted students which can be merit based scholarships, employment schemes and awards.

The Tirana Mosaic (Albanian: Mozaiku i Tiranës) is a landmark in Tirana, Albania. It is believed to have been part of a 3rd-century Roman house, referred to by local archeologists as the 'Villa rustica'. Later, in the 5th and 6th centuries, a Paleo-Christian Basilica was built around this site. It was declared a cultural monument of the first category in June 1973. The ruins of this Paleo-Christian Basilica were discovered in 1972. In 2002, some other objects were found around the ruins of the house, and today they form the archaeological complex in Tirana. It is the only archaeological monument within the city. Some of the ancient mosaics discovered at the site that feature diverse geometrical patterns and depict poultry and fish. It was re-opened to the public on 23 January 2010.

The Botanical Gardens of Tirana is a scenic botanical gardens complex located in southern Tirana, Albania. It is the only botanical gardens complex in Albania.

The Sports University of Tirana (UST) (Albanian: Universiteti i Sporteve të Tiranës) is a university in Albania that trains fitness teachers and sports specialists, sport and tourism managers, guides, and physical education teachers. It awards Masters and PhD programs. The academy started in 1960 with special Decree of the Council of Ministers Nr. 394, dated 28 September 1960. One year later it was named Vojo Kushi.
