Town Square (Saint Paul)

UBS Plaza is a 25-story high-rise office building in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. The building was completed in 1980 as part of the Town Square mixed-use complex. It is occupied by UBS Financial Services, architecture/engineering firm TKDA, and several law firms.

Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), is a public radio network for the state of Minnesota. With its three services, News & Information, YourClassical MPR and The Current, MPR operates a 46-station regional radio network in the upper Midwest. MPR has won more than 875 journalism awards, including the Peabody Award, both the RTNDA Edward R. Murrow Award and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting award of the same name, and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Gold Baton Award. As of September 2011, MPR was equal with WNYC for most listener support for a public radio network, and had the highest level of recurring monthly donors of any public radio network in the United States.MPR also produces and distributes national public radio programming via its subsidiary American Public Media, which is the second-largest producer of public radio programming in the United States, and largest producer and distributor of classical music programming.

Wells Fargo Place (30 East 7th Street) is an office tower in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. It stands at 471 feet (144 m) tall, and is currently the tallest building in St. Paul. It was designed by Winsor/Faricy Architects, Inc. and WZMH Architects, and is 37 stories tall. The building opened in September 1987, a month ahead of schedule and under budget. It is a concrete and steel structure, with a facade of brown-colored granite and glass. The granite came from Finland. The building contains 156 underground parking spaces. It was formerly known as The Minnesota World Trade Center. Anthrosphere, a large sculpture by Paul Granlund, is in the lobby.The tower houses offices used by Wells Fargo, who renamed the building Wells Fargo Place on May 15, 2003. It also houses the headquarters of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. The building was designed for the 36th and 37th floors to be used as a restaurant with a dedicated elevator between the floors. While built to design, including the dedicated elevator, this was never implemented and the space was divided up into storage lockers that are listed for lease on their website.The building was developed by Oxford Properties Inc, the design architect was WZMH, the general contractor was PCL, and the permanent lender was Principal of Des Moines, Iowa. Windsor Faricy was the local production architect. Radio station WDGY has an FM translator located atop the building on 92.1 MHz.

TRIA Rink is an ice hockey arena and practice facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is located on the fifth floor of Treasure Island Center, a former Macy’s department store in downtown St. Paul. The arena was constructed as part of a redevelopment effort by the Saint Paul Port Authority who is redeveloping the building. The arena is the practice facility of the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League and the home arena of the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation and Hamline University's hockey program.

The Metropolitan Opera House was a historic opera house located in Saint Paul, Minnesota located at 100 East Sixth Street. Plans to build the house began after the Grand Opera House burned down on January 21, 1889. Initial plans for the house were designed by Leroy Buffington, but his plans were abandoned due to insufficient funds. Business tycoon Robert Mannheimer eventually came to the rescue, providing half a million dollars towards the project. New plans by Charles A. Reed were used for the house which was built over a few months in 1890. The opera house opened for business that year and served as Saint Paul's opera venue until 1936.

Central Presbyterian Church is a church in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. The congregation was founded in 1852 and built its first building in 1854, which was later enlarged during the 1870s. The rapidly growing congregation outgrew the building, so they built a new church building in 1889. The building, an example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The arched entrances, a hallmark of the Richardsonian Romanesque style, feature a number of carved floral and geometric motifs. The façade is coarsely carved Lake Superior brownstone with a massive 90-foot gable over the arches. The architect, Warren H. Hayes, laid out the seating in the Akron Plan. It features a raised semi-circular chancel, which places the speaker in the front of the congregation and at the center of the chancel. The pews are curved and laid out in a semi-circular pattern on a sloping floor. This design, similar to a theater's design, allows each person to see and hear the speaker.

Downtown Saint Paul is an official neighborhood in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Its boundaries are the Mississippi River to the south, University Avenue to the north, US 52 to the east, and Kellogg Avenue to the west. It is bounded by the Dayton's Bluff, Summit-University, West Seventh, Frogtown, West Side, and Payne-Phalen neighborhoods. The West Side neighborhood is on the other side of the river, and can be accessed via the Robert Street Bridge or the Wabasha Street Bridge. Interstate 35E and Interstate 94 run through the north side of the neighborhood, providing a separation between the Minnesota State Capitol and other state government buildings with the rest of downtown.

The Pointe of St. Paul is a condominium high-rise located in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was completed in 1988. It is 340 feet (103.63 meters) tall and has 34 floors. There is no 13th floor. It was originally constructed as an apartment highrise. It was converted to owner occupied condominiums in early 2003. The building features 290 residential units, which are a mixture of studio, one and two bedroom units. The building has an attached parking garage for residents, both above and below ground and there is visitor parking in the garage.

The Germania Bank Building, later renamed the St. Paul Building, is a historic office building in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was built in 1889. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 for its local significance in the theme of architecture. It was nominated for being Saint Paul's only surviving brownstone high-rise.

Central (formerly known as 4th & Cedar until November 2011) is a light rail station along the Green Line in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is unique among Central Corridor stations in that it is not located in the middle of or directly adjacent to a road, but rather at a 45° angle to surrounding streets like the U.S. Bank Stadium station on the Blue Line. It is located on the block bounded by 5th Street, Minnesota Street, 4th Street, and Cedar Street. Utility relocation construction work began along 4th Street in August 2009, well before the Green Line had received final funding or approval. Construction along Cedar Street, including demolition of the former Bremer Bank building on the block began in 2011. A skyway through the Bremer building was closed for much of the year but reopened on November 1, 2011. The station opened along with the rest of the line on June 14, 2014.

The Palace Theatre is a historic theater in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Dating from 1916, it was renovated in 2016 to become a live music venue.

The Minnesota Children's Museum is a children's museum in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1981 in Minneapolis, the museum moved to St. Paul in 1995. The museum includes natural exhibits of Minnesota, developmental learning areas for small children, a creativity and problem- solving area, and national traveling exhibits .
