Joshidai Station

Chūgakkō Station (中学校駅, Chūgakkō-eki) is a people mover station in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It is on the Yamaman Yūkarigaoka Line, serving the planned community of Yūkarigaoka. Trains run roughly every 20 minutes. Trains only run in one direction from this station, towards Ino Station. The name, which literally means "middle school", refers to Ino Middle School, located nearby.

Trains run roughly every 20 minutes. After Kōen Station, the Yūkarigaoka Line splits into two and forms a loop. Trains headed towards the loop section proceed to Joshidai Station, while trains returning from the loop proceed to Chiku Center Station.

Yūkarigaoka (ユーカリが丘) is a planned community development on a 250 hectare site in the city of Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, Japan by developer Yamaman Co Ltd. Development began in 1971 with a total planned population of 30,000. As of April 2024, the population was 18,943, consisting of 8,100 households. While the name Yūkarigaoka translates literally as “eucalyptus hill”, Australian Eucalyptus trees do not occur in the area naturally.

The Shin River (新川, Shin-gawa) is a river in Yachiyo and Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The river is 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) in length. The Shin River forms the upper part of the Inba Discharge Channel (印旛放水路, Inba Hōsuiro), and flows between Lake Inbanuma and the Ōwada Drainage Pump Station in Yachiyo City. Pollution is problematic along the river. Phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen drain from vegetable farms along the length of the river.
