Flackwell Heath Football Club is a football club based in Flackwell Heath, near High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England. Affiliated to the Berks & Bucks Football Association, they are currently members of the Combined Counties League Premier Division North and play at Wilks Park.

Flackwell Heath is a village in the civil parish of Chepping Wycombe on the outskirts of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. With an elevation of about 150 metres (490 ft), in the Chiltern Hills. It has a population of around 6000.

Loudwater railway station was a railway station which served Loudwater, Buckinghamshire and Flackwell Heath, on the Wycombe Railway.

Sheepridge is a hamlet in the parish of Little Marlow, in Buckinghamshire, England. The hamlet is located in a small indentation of an outlying part of the Chiltern Hills. It can be found on Sheepridge Lane, which connects Flackwell Heath to Well End and Bourne End. There are a few houses and one public house, The Crooked Billet.

Chepping Wycombe is a civil parish in the ceremonial county of Buckinghamshire, England. The parish includes the three large villages of Tylers Green, Loudwater, and Flackwell Heath. The central part of the parish comprises extensive business and industrial development lying adjacent and underneath an elevated section of the M40 in the valley of the River Wye. The name is a variant of earlier Chipping, from the Old English word cieping, 'market' or 'market-place'. Historically, Chepping or Chipping Wycombe was the formal name of the ancient borough and later municipal borough of High Wycombe or Much-Wiccomb. It was also the name of the ancient parish which included the borough and extended further than the borough boundary to also cover the surrounding rural area. The ancient parish of Chepping Wycombe was split in 1866, with the part inside the borough becoming a separate civil parish called "Wycombe" or "Wycombe Borough", leaving the reduced parish of Chepping Wycombe covering the more rural areas outside the borough. Between 1868 and 1880 the parish of Chepping Wycombe was governed by a Local Board of Health. The board was abolished in 1880 when the borough boundaries were extended, notably taking in Wycombe Marsh and other areas from Chepping Wycombe parish. However, the parish boundaries were not changed to match the new borough boundary in 1880, and so the parish of Chepping Wycombe again found itself part inside and part outside the borough. In 1894, when parish councils were introduced under the Local Government Act 1894, the civil parish of Chepping Wycombe was split between the urban area of High Wycombe (Chepping Wycombe Urban parish) and the rural areas outside the borough to the east (Chepping Wycombe Rural parish). The parish was reduced in size in 1901 ceding land to the adjacent High Wycombe parish and its boundaries were further changed in 1934. Chepping Wycombe Rural parish was renamed simply Chepping Wycombe in 1949. Today the areas which comprised the historic borough and that of the civil parish, (the residual part of the ecclesiastical parish) together with West Wycombe constitute the majority of the present-day High Wycombe Urban Area.

Wycombe Marsh is an area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. It lies on the River Wye and the A40 road, approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south-east of High Wycombe town centre, and approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) north-west of Loudwater. Wycombe Marsh is in the Ryemead ward of High Wycombe, which had a population of 7,188 at the 2011 census.

Gomm Valley is a 4.1-hectare (10-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Micklefield, a district of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust and is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The local planning authority is Wycombe District Council.The site is chalk grassland which is reverting to scrub. It has a rich variety of herbs and of invertebrates, and is notable for reptiles and over-wintering birds, particularly thrushes. Over 30 species of butterflies and 180 of moths have been recorded.There is access by a footpath from Gomm Road.

Loudwater is a village in the parish of Chepping Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the valley to the east of High Wycombe, on the A40 London Road.

The Wycombe Summit was a dry ski slope situated in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. It has been closed since 22 November 2005, when a fire destroyed the lodge. In November 2016, Wycombe District Council approved a planning application for 30 dwellings on the site. The plans will also bring the neighbouring Deangarden Wood into positive management and enable formal public use to the Woods.

Fern House Gravel Pit is a 1.3-hectare (3.2-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Fern, near Bourne End in Buckinghamshire. It is also a Geological Conservation Review site.This site exposes the Pleistocene Taplow Gravel formation, and may help to elucidate a poorly understood period in the history of the River Thames, between glacial Anglian stage, around 450,000 years ago, when the river was diverted south to its present course, and the warm Ipswichian around 120,000 years ago. Fossils found at the site include straight-tusked elephants and mammoths.The site is on private land with no public access.

Fern is a hamlet in the parish of Little Marlow, in Buckinghamshire, England. Historically this was a wasteland area of the parish, off the Marlow to Bourne End road. A workhouse was built here in 1781, which was a productive needlework and embroidery manufactory during the Victorian times. After the workhouse was sold to private hands in the early twentieth century, it became known as Fern House, and other cottages and houses were built along what is now Fern Lane. The Little Marlow parish cemetery is located at the end of the road. It was consecrated in 1900 and has a small chapel. The popular crime writer Edgar Wallace is buried there. There is a small, disused gravel pit in the hamlet, the Fern House Gravel Pit. Significant geological formations have been noted in the sides of the pit and this is now a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Adjacent to Fern, on Sheepridge Lane, is the headquarters of the Vulcan Explorer Scouts unit.

Well End is a hamlet in the parish of Little Marlow, in Buckinghamshire, England. It is situated on the north-west side of the village of Bourne End. Although it lies in a separate parish, it is geographically contiguous with and subordinate to Bourne End; but unlike most of the hamlets consumed by its larger neighbour, it retains a distinct character, and the use of the name is common and well recognised locally. The area was once known as Fontibus de Merlow, (Marlow Fountain), of which Well End is a likely etymological derivative. It is endowed with Abbotsbrook Hall, a small, parish council-owned venue used for community events. The local hostelry is The Black Lion situated on Marlow Road. Claytons School, the junior school serving Well End and Bourne End, is sited locally on Wendover Road. There is nearby access to the Little Marlow Gravel Pits nature reserve and to the River Thames towpath. Well End was formerly home to a Congregationalist mission hall and The Blacksmiths Arms public house.
