Charles and Martha Villeneuve House

The Meridian Idaho Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Meridian, Idaho. The intent to build the temple was announced by church president Thomas S. Monson on April 4, 2011, during the church's semi-annual general conference.

Star is a city in northwestern Ada County, Idaho, with parts stretching into neighboring Canyon County. The population was 11,117 at the 2020 census, up from 5,793 in 2010. It was named in the 19th century by travelers on their way to Middleton and Boise who used the star on the school house to find east and west. The name stuck and it became Star, Idaho. Today, it is a rapidly growing suburb of Boise and its schools are shared with Middleton School District and West Ada School District. Star is part of the Boise metropolitan area.

Star Camp in Star, Idaho, also known as Friends Community Center, is a meeting facility and tabernacle operated by Quakers and constructed in 1949. The facility is part of a 5-acre parcel organized as a camp meeting area in 1941. The Star Friends Church was constructed in 1912 near the northeast corner of the grounds, and from 1935 to 1985 a 10-day annual camp meeting occurred on the site. In 1941 Fred Harris sold his 5-acre parcel of adjacent land to the Idaho State Holiness Association, sponsors of the camp meeting. Harris was president of the association in the 1940s and 1950s, and he was credited with development of the camp and tabernacle. Eleven buildings were constructed on the site, including a 5200 square foot tabernacle. All but the tabernacle were demolished prior to 2004. The post and beam tabernacle is similar to a monitor style barn, and after 1985 it was repurposed as a community center.Star Camp was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Eagle High School (EHS) is a four-year public secondary school in Eagle, Idaho, USA, a suburb northwest of Boise. EHS opened 28 years ago in August 1995, the third of five traditional high schools in the West Ada School District. The school colors are hunter green and silver and its mascot is a mustang. Eagle's enrollment in 2019 was approximately 2,100.

Rocky Mountain High School is a four-year public secondary school in Meridian, Idaho, west of Boise. Opened in the fall of 2008, it is the fifth major high school in the West Ada School District. As of 2015, Rocky Mountain has had the largest enrollment in the state, beating out neighboring rival Mountain View. The school colors are Purple, Black and Silver and the mascot is a Grizzly bear.

Eagle Island State Park is a public recreation area on the southwest outskirts of the city of Eagle, Idaho. The state park covers 545 acres (221 ha) that are bordered by the north and south channels of the Boise River. The park's recreational facilities include swimming beach, picnic area, equestrian trails, and a water slide.

The Eagle Adventist Schoolhouse near Eagle, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story former school and church constructed in 1912. The wood frame, L-shape building features a small belfry above and behind the main entrance on North Ballantyne Lane. Clapboard siding covers exterior walls, and the building is free of ornamentation. The schoolhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The schoolhouse was constructed at the former site of the Ames Academy, a Seventh Day Adventist school and church, constructed in 1908 and destroyed by fire in 1911. At the time of the fire, Ames had 40 students, including 15 students boarding at the school. Ames was relatively self contained, with its own water and electric utilities. An Adventist college had been planned for the site until the fire.

The Ambrose School is a K-12 private, classical Christian school in Meridian, Idaho, United States. The Ambrose School is accredited by the Association of Classical Christian Schools. In 2016, the school had 544 students in grades K-12. The Ambrose School graduated its first class in 2006. The school's curriculum is distinct in that it teaches Latin in grades 3–10, Greek in grades 9–10, emphasizes the Western historical tradition, the Great Books of the Western World, Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. The school operates as a 501(c)(3) Christian ministry.

Firebird Raceway is a motorsport racing venue in the western United States, near Eagle, Idaho, in the Boise metropolitan area. The raceway opened 56 years ago in 1968 under management of racing enthusiasts Bill and Ellanor New, and it has remained under ownership of the New family. A longstanding member track of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), the raceway has been named NHRA Track of the Year three times. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018, the first dragstrip to be included on the register.Just west of Highway 16 between Star and Emmett, the elevation is approximately 2,700 feet (825 m) above sea level.

KMHR (950 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Regional Mexican format. Licensed to Boise, Idaho, United States, the station serves the Boise area. The station is currently owned by Azteca Media, LLC and is branded as La Mejor.

The O.F. Short House near Eagle, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story house constructed of native cobble from the Boise River in 1906. The house features elements of Queen Anne and Colonial Revival design, and it includes a hip roof with four dormers. An L-shape porch with battered piers at its corners originally included a crenellated parapet, but the roof was altered after 1980. Architectural historian Patricia Wright considered the O.F. Short House to be unparalleled in Idaho for scale and pretension in its use of cobblestone. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
