Meridian Technical Charter High School (MTCHS) is a high school located in Meridian, Idaho, United States. The student population is 170–200 students, with a maximum of seventy students per grade. The school shares a campus with Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School (MMACHS). The two schools do not share classes; lunch is provided within the MMACHS cafeteria, and busing is provided at MTCHS. The school was originally known as Meridian Charter High School. The name was changed to avoid confusion with nearby Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School.

Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School is a chartered high school in Meridian, Idaho focused on integrating a health science curriculum inside and outside the classroom. They are the first High School in Idaho to offer a associates degree in the medical field. They are a small school with a max of 75 students in the freshmen class

Eagle Island State Park is a public recreation area on the southwest outskirts of the city of Eagle, Idaho. The state park covers 545 acres (221 ha) that are bordered by the north and south channels of the Boise River. The park's recreational facilities include swimming beach, picnic area, equestrian trails, and a water slide.

The O.F. Short House near Eagle, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story house constructed of native cobble from the Boise River in 1906. The house features elements of Queen Anne and Colonial Revival design, and it includes a hip roof with four dormers. An L-shape porch with battered piers at its corners originally included a crenellated parapet, but the roof was altered after 1980. Architectural historian Patricia Wright considered the O.F. Short House to be unparalleled in Idaho for scale and pretension in its use of cobblestone. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Bushnell-Fisher House in Eagle, Idaho, is a 1+1⁄2-story Queen Anne house constructed in 1909. A front facing gable features decorative shingles above dormer windows, and left and right side gables are more fully decorated. Turned columns support an off center porch with hip roof. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

Rocky Mountain High School is a four-year public secondary school in Meridian, Idaho, west of Boise. Opened in the fall of 2008, it is the fifth major high school in the West Ada School District. As of 2015, Rocky Mountain has had the largest enrollment in the state, beating out neighboring rival Mountain View. The school colors are Purple, Black and Silver and the mascot is a Grizzly bear.

The Orville Jackson House in Eagle, Idaho, is a brick and stucco, 1+1⁄2-story Tudor Revival structure designed by Tourtellotte and Hummel and constructed in 1932. The house features a decorative diamond pattern of clinker brick visible on the chimney. Projecting clinkers are evident also in the brickwork of the first floor outer walls. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Orville Jackson owned Orville Jackson's pharmacy in Eagle from 1922 until 1974.

Centennial High School is a four-year public secondary school in Boise, Idaho. Although located in Boise, it is part of the West Ada School District; at the time of its construction, CHS was in unincorporated Ada County. The West Ada district's second of five traditional high schools, Centennial opened in 1987 and serves neighborhoods in northwestern Boise and northeastern Meridian. The centennial of Idaho statehood was observed in 1990. The school colors of Centennial are maroon and silver, and its mascot is a patriot.

Aiken's Hotel in Eagle, Idaho, also known as Eagle Hotel, is a two-story concrete block building constructed in 1910. The hotel features design elements of Colonial Revival architecture, but it has been considered an Italianate structure. The hotel was designed with 16 rooms large enough to accommodate residential customers. It was added to the United States National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Thomas H. Aiken, also known as Thomas H. Aikens, arrived in Idaho Territory in 1871. His brother, Samuel D. Aiken, owner of the Green Meadow Ranch, arrived in 1862. In 1877, Thomas Aiken secured water rights to property on Eagle Island. By the 1890s, Aiken promoted and finally secured construction of a bridge across the Boise River, and he increased his land holdings on Eagle Island. Aiken platted the town of Eagle in 1904.The interurban trolley line opened on the island in 1907.

The Meridian Idaho Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Meridian, Idaho. The intent to build the temple was announced by church president Thomas S. Monson on April 4, 2011, during the church's semi-annual general conference.

Arboretum Park is a small arboretum located at 312 E. State Street, Eagle, Idaho, United States. It contains 37 types of trees, as well as roses, perennials, native plants, and ground covers. All are identified by name stakes identifying the scientific and common names.

Eagle is a city in Ada County, Idaho, 10 miles northwest of Boise. The population was 19,908 at the time of the 2010 census.
