Kepa Bush Reserve

Purewa railway station was a station on the North Island Main Trunk line (NIMT) in Auckland, New Zealand. It was located between Glen Innes station and Ōrākei station.

Purewa Cemetery is a privately run cemetery located in Auckland, New Zealand, on the southern banks of the Pourewa Creek. Established on part of the grounds of the St John's Theological College in 1889, the Purewa is one of the few privately run cemeteries in Auckland. It occupies a site of 45 ha (110 acres) and contains two chapels and a crematorium. Notable burials at the cemetery include Prime Minister Robert Muldoon and actor Kevin Smith, and figures including Sir Edmund Hillary and broadcaster Paul Holmes have been cremated at the cemetery.

The name sponsorship by Barfoot & Thompson, a leading real estate company, began in 2018. Barfoot & Thompson Stadium is a training and competition venue for many local clubs and organisations including East City Futsal Indoor Soccer Club, Auckland Ultimate, Auckland Basketball, Sparta Volleyball Club, Orakei Tigers Basketball Club, Howick & St Heliers Judo Club, Aikido Auckland Aikikai and many more. The venue has many other facilities as well, including a preschool, gym, physio therapy, after school care and school holiday programme, and is located on Selwyn College.

Meadowbank is a suburb of Auckland city, situated in the North Island of New Zealand. Meadowbank is governed under the local governance of the Auckland Council. It has one shopping centre: Meadowbank Shopping Centre, on the corner of Gerard Way and St John's Road. Purewa Cemetery, one of central Auckland's largest cemeteries, is situated in Meadowbank and can be accessed from St John's Road.

Kohimarama School is a coeducational state primary school in Kohimarama, Auckland. The initial school building was constructed in 1921, while the school grounds were opened on 6 September 1924. The memorial entrance gates to the school were opened on 14 June 1928 by the then chairman of Auckland Education Board, A. Burns. The school's flagpole and bell were from the scow 'Kohi'.

The Ōrākei Local Board is one of the 21 local boards of Auckland Council. It is coterminous with the Ōrākei ward. It was chaired in its first two terms by local politician Desley Simpson following the 2010 and 2013 elections. In the 2016 elections, Simpson stood for and won the Orakei ward councillor seat on Auckland Council. Colin Davis took her place as Chair.

Ōrākei Ward is one of thirteen wards of Auckland Council in Auckland, New Zealand. It encompasses the neighbourhoods of Saint Heliers, Glendowie, Kohimarama, Mission Bay, Saint Johns and Meadowbank. It elects one councillor to represent the ward on the council. The councillor has oversight over the Orakei Local Board. The current councillor is Desley Simpson.

Grammar TEC is a rugby club in Auckland, New Zealand resulting from an amalgamation of several rugby clubs . The clubs involved include Grafton and Cornwall, who united to form Carlton. The creation of Carlton was followed by teams called Teachers and Eastern who formed Teachers Eastern. Another team merger involving Carlton and Grammar Old Boys in 1996 produced the team known as Grammar Carlton. Finally, Grammar Carlton and Teachers Eastern came together and became Grammar TEC in 2013. Grammar TEC, a merger of five clubs, was successful in winning the Gallaher Shield in 2015.

St Johns Bush is a reserve in East Auckland in New Zealand. It is situated in a small valley near the larger Kepa Bush Reserve. It is named after the nearby suburb St Johns.

The College of St John the Evangelist or St Johns Theological College, is the residential theological college of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia. The site at Meadowbank in Auckland is the base for theological education for the three Tikanga of the Province with ministry formation onsite as well as diploma level teaching in the regions across New Zealand and Polynesia. The College has partnerships with various other tertiary providers of degrees in theology. St Johns is proud to have faculty and alumni of the College working around the globe. The College was established in 1843 by George Augustus Selwyn, Bishop of New Zealand, initially at Te Waimate mission.The College, through the St John's College Trust Board, is one of the best endowed theological colleges in the Anglican Communion, with assets in 2014 of NZ$293m. It was subject to a critical review of its financial sustainability in 2014.

Mission Bay is a seaside suburb of Auckland city, on the North Island of New Zealand. The suburb's beach is a popular resort, located alongside Tamaki Drive. The area also has a wide range of eateries. Mission Bay is located seven kilometres to the east of the city centre, on the southern shore of the Waitematā Harbour, between Ōrākei and Kohimarama. It covers an area of 1.08 km2 (267 acres), about three quarters of which comprises low hills, surrounding the remaining quarter, which slopes down to the sea. Local government of Mission Bay is the responsibility of the Ōrākei Local Board, which also includes the suburbs of Ōrākei, Kohimarama, St Heliers, Glendowie, St Johns, Meadowbank, Remuera and Ellerslie.
