Manton is a village and civil parish in North Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 123. The village is situated just south from the town of Scunthorpe, and about 6 miles (10 km) south-west from the town of Brigg. The parish includes the hamlet of Cleatham. Cleatham was a civil parish between 1866 and 1936.

Kirton Lindsey railway station serves the town of Kirton in Lindsey in North Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, England. The station was opened in 1849 on the former main line of the Great Grimsby and Sheffield Junction Railway which became part of the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway.The station was built with two flanking platforms with the main station building on the Sheffield-bound side at the top of a long approach road. The Grimsby-bound platform had a simple waiting shelter and the platforms were linked by a latticed footbridge. The footbridge and Grimsby bound platform have since been removed and the route reduced to a single track at this point. As of 2023, the station was the fourth least used in the UK, with 94 entries and exits.

Gainsthorpe is a deserted medieval village (DMV) site in a field which is part of the present Gainsthorpe Farm in Lincolnshire, England. The site is in Hibaldstow civil parish located on a minor road west of the A15 road, south of Hibaldstow and five miles (eight kilometres) south-west of Brigg.It is now in the care of English Heritage. There is a small car park from where a footpath of about 220 yards (200 metres) leads to the site. The typical medieval layout of sunken roads and raised rectangular tofts and crofts is clearly seen in the humps and hollows of the field.

Royal Air Force Kirton in Lindsey or more simply RAF Kirton in Lindsey is a former Royal Air Force station located 15 miles (24 km) north of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. It's an RAF habit (inherited from the RFC) to name its bases after the nearest railway station, possibly to simplify the process of issuing Rail Warrants to personnel posted there. By that token, the site should be RAF Kirton Lindsey, Kirton Lindsey being the name of the nearby railway station constructed in 1849. No.255 Squadron's Operations Record Book (ORB) consistently uses that version of the name. So does the airfield's separate ORB, from the date of the site's WWII creation (15 May 1940) through to May 1941. After mid-1941 and the departure of No.255 Squadron, use of RAF Kirton-in-Lindsey begins to appear in the site's own records – eventually dominating.On 25 March 2013 it was announced the MOD planned to dispose of the airfield and technical facilities with only accommodation remaining, which was emptied later that year. The airfield used to host No. 1 Air Control Centre (1ACC), the RAF's only deployable ground-based early warning and air control radar unit, which was parented by RAF Scampton.

The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 123 It is situated 1 mile (1.6 km) south from Kirton in Lindsey, 8 miles (13 km) north-east from Gainsborough and 8 miles south from Scunthorpe. The name Grayingham derives from the Old English Gra(ga)+inga+ham for "homestead of the family of a man named Graeg". The name is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book as "Graingeham".Grayingham Grade II* listed Anglican church is dedicated to Saint Radegund. Originating from the 13th and 14th century, it was rebuilt in 1773 or 1797 leaving the Early English tower and west doorway intact. A further restoration was carried-out in 1870 by James Fowler. The 19th century reredos is by A. B. Skipwith, and a copper-gilt relief of the crucifixion by Conrad Dressler.

The authorities described Twigmoor Hall as ".. one of the worst in her Majesty’s dominions and is used like a Popish college for traitors in the northern parts".

Northorpe railway station was a railway station in Northorpe, Lincolnshire, England. It opened on 2 April 1849 and closed for passengers on 4 July 1955 and freight on 2 March 1964. Originally named Northorpe, it became Northorpe (Lincs) at some point after January 1948. Although the station is now closed, the signal box here remains in use to supervise a level crossing and passing loop on the single track section of the route between Gainsborough Central and Kirton Lindsey.
