The Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Grace

Osmotherley Friends Meeting House is a Friends Meeting House of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), situated in the village of Osmotherley in North Yorkshire, England. It is a Grade II listed building. The meeting house is a traditional stone building, built around 1723 (1723), it is owned and maintained by Teesdale & Cleveland Area Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). It is still used regularly as a place of worship. Meeting for worship is held on the third Sunday of each month at 1500 hours GMT. The Meeting House and a separate dormitory block are available for letting to organised groups and families, both Quaker and non-Quaker, and can sleep up to 25.

Mount Grace Priory is a monastery in the parish of East Harlsey, North Yorkshire, England. Set in woodlands within the North York Moors National Park, it is represented today by the best preserved and most accessible ruins among the nine houses of the Carthusian Order, which existed in England in the Middle Ages and were known as charterhouses.

The name was recorded as either Elrebec or Alrebec and means Alder Brook. There was a violent gas explosion in Ellerbeck in the late 1990s which destroyed a house in the village but did not cause any deaths.

East Harlsey is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. It is about 1 mile (2 km) west of Ingleby Arncliffe and the A19 and 6 miles (10 km) north-east of Northallerton. The population of the village as measured at the 2011 census was 281. Within the village there is a pub called the 'Cat and Bagpipes'. Harlsey Hall manor house is in the centre of the village: the manor was the property of the Lascelles family from the 11th century until 1654, when it passed to the Trotter Bannerman family, and from 1825, to the Maynard family. Comedian Roy 'Chubby' Brown has a home at Harlsey Manor, to the east of East Harlsey.

It is on the River Wiske and West Rounton is nearby. The population taken at the 2011 Census was less than 100. Details are included in the civil parish of West Rounton. East Rounton was the site of Rounton Grange, a country house designed by the architect Philip Webb in 1872 to 1876 for the industrialist Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell. It was demolished in 1953.
