2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play

The 2018 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play was the 20th WGC Match Play, played March 21–25 at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. It was the second of four World Golf Championships in 2018.

The 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play was the 23rd WGC Match Play, played March 23–27 at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. The tournament was won by 2021 runner-up Scottie Scheffler, who defeated Kevin Kisner 4 and 3 in the final. With the win, Scheffler's third in his last five starts, he rose to number one in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time. Corey Conners beat Dustin Johnson 3 and 1 in the consolation match to claim third place.

The 2016 WGC-Dell Match Play was the 18th WGC-Dell Match Play Championship, played March 23–27 at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. It was the second of four World Golf Championships in 2016. The Championship was won by Jason Day, it was his second WGC-Match Play win in three years.

Austin Country Club is a private golf club in the southern United States, located in Austin, Texas. Established 125 years ago in 1899, the club moved to its third and present site in 1984, a challenging layout designed by noted course architect Pete Dye.The present Davenport Ranch site is west of central Austin on the south bank of the Colorado River (Lake Austin), just southeast of the Pennybacker Bridge. Following a renovation in 2015, it has hosted the WGC Match Play championship since 2016. The previous location was in east Austin and is now the public Riverside Golf Course (30.238°N 97.705°W / 30.238; -97.705), adjacent to the Riverside campus of Austin Community College. Expansion of the college altered several holes, but the majority of the course is intact. At this location, Austin Country Club spawned major champions Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite, coached by teaching professional Harvey Penick.Prior to 1950, the club was at 41st Street (30.299°N 97.724°W / 30.299; -97.724), northeast of the University of Texas campus. The nine-hole Hancock municipal course remains, but the other holes were developed into a shopping center.

The 2021 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play was the 22nd WGC Match Play, and was played on March 24–28 at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. It was the second of the World Golf Championships in 2021. Billy Horschel defeated Scottie Scheffler in the final, 2 and 1, for his first WGC win.

The Percy V. Pennybacker Jr. Bridge in Austin, Texas, is a through-arch bridge across Lake Austin which connects the northern and southern sections of the Loop 360 highway, also known as the "Capital of Texas Highway." The road is widely considered one of the most scenic urban drives in Texas, in large part due to this arched weathering-steel bridge and the rolling hills that flank the road. In 2001, 48,000 vehicles crossed the bridge daily. Ten years prior to this, 22,000 vehicles had crossed the bridge daily.

KVLR (92.5 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station licensed to Sunset Valley, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. It is owned by the Educational Media Foundation as the Austin affiliate for EMF's Air1 radio network, airing its Christian Worship music format. It does not carry commercials, instead making on-air appeals for contributions. The station also has two translators at 92.1 FM in Austin and 92.9 FM in Del Valle. In the Austin area, Air1 programming is also heard on 92.1 KYLR in Hutto. KVLR broadcasts using HD Radio technology. Its HD2 digital subchannel carries programming from Radio Nueva Vida, a Spanish-language Christian radio network.

KMFA FM 89.5 is a non-profit, listener-supported, classical radio station licensed in Austin, Texas. Currently under ownership of Capitol Broadcasting Association, Inc, KMFA serves 100,000 listeners. The broadcast schedule consists of playlists announced by local hosts, as well as nationally syndicated broadcasts, including those from the Metropolitan Opera during its season. On the weekends, the NPR program From the Top, showcasing young classical musicians, is heard on KMFA, as well as a program of classical music from the School of Music at the University of Texas-Austin. KMFA is licensed to broadcast a digital hybrid HD signal.

KFMK (105.9 FM) is an Austin, Texas radio station operating a contemporary Christian format as an affiliate of the K-Love radio network. It is licensed to Round Rock, Texas with an ERP of 4,500 watts from a transmitter site near West Lake Hills, and is currently owned by Educational Media Foundation.

KROX-FM (101.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Buda, Texas, and serving the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. It is owned by Sinclair Telecable Inc. (not related to television broadcaster Sinclair Broadcast Group, who owns CBS station KEYE-TV) and broadcasts an alternative rock format. The station has studios along Interstate 35 in North Austin, and the transmitter site is located off Waymaker Way at the West Austin Antenna Farm.

Travis County is located in south central Texas. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,290,188. It is the fifth-most populous county in Texas. Its county seat is Austin, the capital of Texas. The county was established in 1840 and is named in honor of William Barret Travis, the commander of the Republic of Texas forces at the Battle of the Alamo. It is located along the Balcones Fault, the boundary between the Edwards Plateau to the west and the Blackland Prairie to the east.
