Warringah Council

The Northern Beaches Council is a local government area located in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The council was formed on 12 May 2016 after the amalgamation of Manly, Pittwater, and Warringah councils.The Council comprises an area of 254 square kilometres (98 sq mi) and as at the 2021 census had an estimated population of 263,554, making it the fourth-most populous local government area in New South Wales.The Mayor of the Northern Beaches Council is Cr. Sue Heins, of the Your Northern Beaches Independent Team, since 16 May 2023.

The Warringah Civic Centre is a landmark civic building in Dee Why, a suburb of Sydney. It stands in the centre of Dee Why, along Pittwater Road. Designed in the Brutalist style by Christopher Kringas and Colin Madigan, it replaced the Warringah Shire Hall, a 1923 building also on Pittwater Road but in Brookvale opposite Brookvale Oval. The Civic Centre was the seat of Warringah Council from its opening on 1 September 1973 to 12 May 2016, when it became a seat (primary from September 2017) of the new Northern Beaches Council.

Stony Range Botanic Garden is a botanic garden specialising in native Australian flora located in Dee Why, New South Wales, Australia. The garden is wheelchair accessible, has walking tracks of varying lengths and inclinations, and can be booked for functions and weddings. The garden is jointly administered by Northern Beaches Council and a voluntary advisory committee. The garden also receives support in the form of public donations, and volunteers who care for the garden.The garden also hosts an annual Spring Festival.

Cromer is a suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Cromer is 20 kilometres north-east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council and is part of the Northern Beaches region. Cromer is bordered to the north-east by Narrabeen Lagoon.

St Luke's Grammar School is a dual campus independent Anglican co-educational primary and secondary day school, located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The school was founded in 1993 as the amalgamation of Roseby Preparatory School, Peninsula Grammar School and St Luke's Anglican School for Girls. Geoff Lancaster is the 3rd Principal of St Luke's Grammar School, after Jann Robinson (2005–2020) and John Scott (1993–2004).

Cromer Park is a community football (soccer) ground located in the Northern Beaches suburb of Cromer in Sydney. It is home to Manly United FC and Manly Warringah Football Association.

The Cromer Campus of the Northern Beaches Secondary College is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Cromer, a suburb on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1976 as Cromer High School, the campus caters for approximately 1072 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education; the principal is Justin Hong.

The Pittwater House School, commonly called Pittwater House, is an independent secular co-educational Pre-Kindergarten, primary and secondary day school, located in Collaroy, on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The school is relatively unique in providing single-sex education to both boys and girls in both primary and secondary school settings, on the one co-educational campus.

The Manly Selective Campus of the Northern Beaches Secondary College is a government-funded co-educational academically selective secondary day school, located in North Curl Curl, a suburb on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1859 as Manly Public School, the campus caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12; and admission to the campus is based entirely on academic excellence through the Selective High Schools Test. Students seeking enrolment into Years 8 to 11 will be coordinated through the school, and must also sit for the Australian Council of Educational Research (ACER) Higher Ability Selection Test. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education; the principal is Kathryn O'Sullivan.

Wingala is a locality in the suburbs of North Curl Curl and Dee Why, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is within the Northern Beaches Council local government area. It refers to the Western section of Wingala Hill, which lies between the floodplains of Dee Why Lagoon and Curl Curl Lagoon, and forms Dee Why Headland where it meets the Tasman Sea. Wingala Reserve can be found on the southern slope of Wingala Hill, on the border between Dee Why and North Curl Curl. It is a piece of crown land that demonstrates some of the vegetation that once existed all over the area.
