Scithae

Cithas or Kithas (Ancient Greek: Κίθας) was a town of Chalcidice in ancient Macedonia. It belonged to the Delian League since it appears in the tribute registry of Athens for the year 434/3 BCE, where it paid a phoros of 3000 drachmas jointly with the cities of Tinde, Gigonus, Smila and Lisaea.The location of its site is disputed: the editors of the Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World treat Cithas as located at the site of Cissus; whereas, Mogens Herman Hansen and his colleagues treat Cithas as unlocated.Accepting the identification, its site is located in the western Chalcidice.

Antigonia Psaphara or Antigoneia Psaphara (Ancient Greek: Ἀντιγόνεια Ψαφαρά), or simply Antigonia, Antigonea, or Antigoneia (Ἀντιγόνεια) was a Hellenistic city in Macedon in the district Crusis (Krousis) in Chalcidice, placed by Livy between Aeneia and Pallene. It is called Psaphara by Ptolemy probably in order to distinguish it from Antigonia in Paeonia.The site of Antigonia Psaphara is about 3 miles (5 km) north of Nea Kallikrateia.

Kato Scholari (Greek: Κάτω Σχολάρι) is a village and a community of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Mikra, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 1,954 inhabitants in the village. The community of Kato Scholari covers an area of 23.80 km2.

Mesimeri (Greek: Μεσημέρι) is a village and a community of the Thermaikos municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Epanomi, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 1,831 inhabitants in the village. The community of Mesimeri covers an area of 12.825 km2.

Agios Antonios (Greek: Άγιος Αντώνιος) is a village and a community of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Vasilika, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 647 inhabitants in the village and 874 inhabitants in the community. The community of Agios Antonios covers an area of 50.023 km2.

Souroti (Greek: Σουρωτή) is a rural village in the Thessaloniki regional unit of Greece, located 25 kilometers (16 mi) outside of the city of Thessaloniki. In Greece the village is particularly known for the mineral water bottled there. Administratively it belongs to the municipality of Thermi. The Monastery of Saint John the Theologian is situated there, associated with the name of a famous Orthodox religious author and ascetic of the 20th century, St. Paisios of Mount Athos.

The Monastery of St. John the Theologian is (Greek: Ιερά Μονή Αγίου Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου στη Σουρωτή) a Greek Orthodox Christian nunnery located in Souroti, Greece. It was founded in 1967. The tomb of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos is located in the monastery. The relics of Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian are also kept in the monastery.The monastery has a publishing house that publishes books in both Greek and English.

Agia Paraskevi (Greek: Αγία Παρασκευή) is a village and a community of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Vasilika, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 2,244 inhabitants in the village. The community of Agia Paraskevi covers an area of 15.574 km2.

Monopigado (Greek: Μονοπήγαδο) is a village of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Vasilika. The 2011 census recorded 227 inhabitants in the village. Monopigado is a part of the community of Agios Antonios.

Ano Scholari (Greek: Άνω Σχολάρι) is a village of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Mikra. The 2011 census recorded 178 inhabitants in the village. Ano Scholari is a part of the community of Trilofo.

Kardia (Greek: Καρδία) is a village and a community of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Mikra, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 3,394 inhabitants in the village. The community of Kardia covers an area of 9.652 km2.

Tagarades (Greek: Ταγαράδες) is a village and a community of the Thermi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Thermi, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 2,088 inhabitants in the village. The community of Tagarades covers an area of 15.325 km2.
