Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium is located at Ghod Dod Road, Surat, Gujarat, India. It was built by Surat Municipal Corporation in 1998 at the cost of ₹ 21 crores. Named after the veteran Jana Sangh leader, Deendayal Upadhyaya, it was the first Indoor Sports Complex to be constructed in Western India.

Cable Bridge, Surat or Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Tapti River that connects the Athwa and Adajan areas of Surat, Gujarat, India. The bridge is named after Indian politician and thinker Deendayal Upadhyaya. A connected 3-way interchange flyover bridge was constructed on the Athwalines side to facilitate easy flow of the traffic.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat (IIIT Surat) is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology established by MHRD in PPP mode located in Surat, Gujarat.The Institute has been conferred as Institute of National Importance (INI) on Feb 5 , 2020. IIIT Surat is operating from its temporary premises at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT). The institute is mentored by SVNIT for an initial period of 2–3 years till the construction of the new campus. The IIIT Surat is built on a public-private partnership (PPP) model, jointly funded by State Government and industry partners Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers & Chemicals, Gujarat Gas and Gujarat Informatics.

The ground is constructed by Bharthana's leading farmer Raju G Patel & C B Patel Group in the year and half period on the 3.75 sq. ft land of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Surat. The ground is developed with 2 lakh sq. ft according to the standards of international stadium. The stadium can accommodate 35,000 people.Then Gujarat Chief Minister and Gujarat Cricket Association head Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the stadium in November 2009. The ground received a donation from a cricket lover Kamlesh Patel. He donated Rs. 5 crore. In February 2011, Narendra Modi then Chief Minister of Gujarat and Gujarat Cricket Association Chief inaugurated the stadium.

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is a public university located in the city of Surat, Gujarat, India. Previously known as South Gujarat University, it was renamed as Veer Narmad South Gujarat University(VNSGU) in 2004 in honour of the famous scholar and Gujarati poet Narmad. Established in 1965, the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including non-traditional postgraduate departments such as public administration, rural studies, comparative literature, and aquatic biology.

Lalbhai Contractor Stadium is a cricket stadium in Surat, Gujarat, India. The stadium is owned by the Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA). The first match played at the stadium was a Duleep Trophy match between West Zone and East Zone in 1993. The stadium hosted 15 cricket matches over the following 20 years, including Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup and Duleep Trophy matches. The ground hosted international cricket for the first time during South Africa Women's 2019 tour of India. All five WT20Is of the tour were played at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium.This stadium was made possible only because of donation of 86,730 Sq. yards of land donated in 1986/87 by Kanaiyalal Lalbhai Contractor and Hemant Lalbhai Contractor and their sister Jyoti Contractor in memory of their father Late Shri Lalbhai Ramjibhai Contractor who was himself enthusiast of game of cricket and founder member of Bombay Cricket Association.In 2009, SDCA revamped the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. The SDCA has earmarked Rs 12 crore for the renovation of the stadium which has hosted several Ranji, Irani and Duleep Trophy matches. It is located close to the 2,000-capacity Freke ground, the home of association football club Freke FC.
