Guay railway station

The Dalguise Viaduct is a lattice girder viaduct in Dalguise, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It carries the Highland Main Line railway across the River Tay. Built in 1863, it was designed by Joseph Mitchell, for the then-new Inverness and Perth Junction Railway. A Category A listed structure, it stands about 0.44 miles (0.71 km) north of the now-disused Dalguise railway station. The viaduct is in two parts; the southern one being 210 feet (64 m), the northern 141 feet (43 m). The ironwork was supplied by Sir William Fairbairn & Sons, of Manchester.

Dowally is a village and parish in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It lies 3+1⁄2 miles (5.6 km) north of Dunkeld on the A9 road.The village has a parish church dedicated to St. Anne, it was constructed in 1818 and replaced a previous church which had been constructed around 1500 but fell into ruin by 1755. In 1861 the population was 486 by 1881 this had reduced to 431.

Dalguise (Scottish Gaelic Dàil Ghiuthais) is a settlement in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It is situated on the western side of the River Tay on the B898 road, 5 miles (8 kilometres) north of Dunkeld. Located there is Dalguise House, a place where, from the age of four, Beatrix Potter stayed annually with her family throughout the summer, from May till the end of the salmon season.

The River Tummel (Scottish Gaelic: Uisge Theimheil) is a river in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. Water from the Tummel is used in the Tummel hydro-electric power scheme, operated by SSE.As a tributary of the River Tay, the Tummel is included as part of the River Tay Special Area of Conservation. The designation notes the river system's importance for salmon, otters, brook lampreys, river lampreys and sea lampreys.

Ballinluig railway station served the village of Ballinluig, Perth and Kinross, Scotland from 1863 to 1965 on the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway.

Inchmagrannachan (), is a hamlet in the Strathtay area of Highland Perthshire, Scotland, 3km north-west of Dunkeld. The River Tay passes the hamlet to the east. The hamlet is surrounded by woodland and hills. The forest to the north is called Dalmarnock Wood. The short Littleton Burn passes through the hamlet from west to east before shortly flowing into the Tay, splitting the village, with most houses on the north side. The nearest train station is Dunkeld & Birnam.

The Jubilee Bridge is a 254 m (833 ft) road bridge over the River Tay near Dunkeld in Scotland. The bridge conveys the A9 road over the river. A concrete box bridge also joins the Jubilee Bridge at its southern end as it carries the A9 over the Highland Main Line. The area of the River Tay below the bridge is accessible for personal watercraft and walkers. As part of the A9 dualling project, the bridge will be duplicated by 2032.

Tay Forest Park is forest park in the council area of Perth and Kinross in Scotland. It consists of a network of forests managed by Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) that are spread across the Highland parts of Perthshire, and covers 194 km2 in total. The park contains a series of disparate woods that are managed for multiple benefits, with an emphasis on recreation facilities for visitors.The park's main visitor centre is at Queen's View, near Loch Tummel, where there is a café, gift shop and interpretive displays. Other smaller centres are located at the following locations: Allean, also close to Loch Tummel Faskally, between Pitlochry and Killiecrankie Carie on the south side of Loch Rannoch Grandtully, between Aberfeldy and Ballinluig Weem, north of Aberfeldy Drummond Hill on the north side of Loch Tay Craigvinean, near Dunkeld and BirnamAt each location there is a car park and waymarked trails for visitors. Some of the site have more facilities, such as toilets.

Loch Ordie is a classic freshwater hill loch east of the River Tay, and surrounded by wooded hills, in the Forest of Clunie.

Craigvinean Forest is located 1 mile (1.6 km) west of Dunkeld, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, on the A9. It is accessed through a track at the foot of Deuchary Hill. The River Braan bisects the forest, which forms part of the Tay Forest Park, one of six forest park in Scotland.The Hermitage is located in a section of the forest.Ossian, a third-century Celtic bard, whose mother was turned into a deer by Fer Doirich, is said to have inhabited a cave which can be found on the north bank of the Braan located upstream from Ossian's Hall of Mirrors, a folly built in 1758 which is replete with Corinthian architrave and cornice. This folly was built on a horse shoe plan facing a waterfall and so amplifies the roaring sound of water. The 2019 racing game Dirt Rally 2.0 features point-to-point stages based on accurate reproductions of around 25 km (16 mi) of forestry tracks within Craigvinean.

The Hermitage Douglas-fir (also known as Ossian's Douglas-fir) was a Douglas-fir tree which stood in The Hermitage pleasure ground, in Dunkeld, Scotland, between c. 1750 and 2017. It was the first tree in Great Britain to reach 200 feet (61 m) in height. It eventually reached a height of 201.1 feet (61.3 m).The tree was blown over due to high winds in the early hours of 13 January 2017. Thought to have been planted in the 1750s, it was, therefore, around 267 years old at the time it fell.
