Kings Hotel is a heritage-listed former pub and now commercial premises located at 138-140 Pitt Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1879. It is also known as Trickett's Hotel and Sugar House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

It is located on the corner of King Street and Pitt Street Mall, adjacent to Westfield Sydney and is opposite MidCity, The Strand Arcade and Sydney Arcade.Glasshouse is a 25 floor office complex with retail on the floors below. Its tenants include Sydney's largest H&M store and Platypus Shoes on multiple levels with about 5,000 square metres retail area. Access to the retail levels is from Pitt Street Mall, King Street, Westfield Sydney and a skybridge from 25 Martin Place.

The Soul Pattinson Building is a Victorian Italianate retail and office building located at 158–160 Pitt Street in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The Soul Pattinson Building is located between the Pitt Street Mall and Castlereagh Street, and opposite The Strand Arcade.

The Culwulla Chambers is a heritage listed building located at 67 Castlereagh Street in Sydney, Australia. Its situated in the Central Business District of Sydney and it is notable for its Chicago-style architecture. The building was designed by Harry Kent and was completed in 1912. The building is colloquially named as Sydney's first skyscraper. Upon its completion, it became the focal point for debate in Sydney regarding restrictions on building height. This led ultimately to law being passed placing a moratorium on constructing new buildings taller than 150 feet. This height restriction was subsequently removed in 1955.The building is for commercial purposes. Historically, it was primarily an office space, but currently it serves as a business space for numerous companies as well as professionals, mainly lawyers. There are 20 barristers operating in Culwulla Chambers practicing in a variety of jurisdictions. They are all members of the New South Wales Bar Association.

The Sydney Club is a heritage-listed club premises at 122 Pitt Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Mansfield Brothers and built from 1886 to 1887 by A & A Scott. It is also known as Million House. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Rowe Street is a narrow laneway in the central business district of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. Originally, Rowe Street ran between Castlereagh Street and Pitt Street, parallel to Martin Place. However, it now runs east–west off Pitt Street. Rowe Street was named in honour of Thomas Rowe, a prominent architect in New South Wales.

The Arcadia Hotel was a 150-room hotel in Sydney, Australia, developed by James Joynton Smith, on the site occupied today by Westfield Sydney.

The Strand Arcade is a heritage-listed Victorian-style retail arcade located at 195-197 Pitt Street in the heart of the Sydney central business district, between Pitt Street Mall and George Street in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by John B. Spencer, assisted by Charles E. Fairfax; and built from 1890 to 1892 by Bignell and Clark (1891), with renovations completed by Stephenson & Turner (1976). The only remaining arcade of its kind in Sydney, the property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 13 December 2011.Being three storeys high, the arcade has the traditional-styled protruding galleries, cedar staircases, tiled floors, cast iron balusters and timber framed shop fronts, under a prominent, tinted glass roof to reduce glare. The arcade contains the preliminary boutiques that characterized the Sydney shopping experience of the 1890s. When the arcade opened in 1892, it was said to be the very latest in shopping centre designs and was described as, "The finest public thoroughfare in the Australian colonies". The arcade has endured two depressions, two World Wars and two major fires. The restored shop fronts are an exact replica of the original internal shopping facades.

The Theatre Royal is a theatre in Sydney, Australia built in 1976. It has offered a broad range of entertainment including dramas, comedy and especially musicals since the 1990s. The theatre has been closed since March 2016, but reopened in December 2021 under parent company Trafalgar Entertainment.Earlier theatres also called the Theatre Royal, on the same site, date back to 1833.

It was formerly the headquarters of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, which for a significant part of the 20th century functioned as Australia's central bank.
