Sydney Tower is Sydney's tallest structure and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere. It has also been known as Centrepoint Tower (or just Centrepoint), AMP Tower, and colloquially as Flower Tower, Glower Tower, and Big Poke.The Sydney Tower is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers.The tower stands 309 m (1,014 ft) above the Sydney central business district (CBD), located on Market Street, between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets. It is accessible from the Pitt Street Mall, Market Street or Castlereagh Street and sits above the Westfield Sydney (formerly Centrepoint) shopping centre. The tower is open to the public, and is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the city, being visible from a number of vantage points throughout town and from adjoining suburbs. Auckland's Sky Tower is taller but Sydney Tower's main observation deck is almost 30 m (98 ft) higher than the observation deck on Auckland's Sky Tower.While the shopping centre at the base of the tower is run by Scentre Group, the tower itself is occupied by Trippas White Group, which owns and operates Sydney Tower Dining, and Merlin Entertainments, which owns and operates the "Sydney Tower Eye" observation deck and "Oztrek" simulated ride attraction.

The Soul Pattinson Building is located between the Pitt Street Mall and Castlereagh Street, and opposite The Strand Arcade.

The Culwulla Chambers is a heritage listed building located at 67 Castlereagh Street in Sydney, Australia. Its situated in the Central Business District of Sydney and it is notable for its Chicago-style architecture. The building was designed by Harry Kent and was completed in 1912. The building is colloquially named as Sydney's first skyscraper. Upon its completion, it became the focal point for debate in Sydney regarding restrictions on building height. This led ultimately to law being passed placing a moratorium on constructing new buildings taller than 150 feet. This height restriction was subsequently removed in 1955.The building is for commercial purposes. Historically, it was primarily an office space, but currently it serves as a business space for numerous companies as well as professionals, mainly lawyers. There are 20 barristers operating in Culwulla Chambers practicing in a variety of jurisdictions. They are all members of the New South Wales Bar Association.

Glasshouse (previously known as Stockland Glasshouse, Glasshouse Shopping Centre and Glasshouse on the Mall) is an office and retail building in the Sydney central business district. It is located on the corner of King Street and Pitt Street Mall, adjacent to Westfield Sydney and is opposite MidCity, The Strand Arcade and Sydney Arcade.Glasshouse is a 25 floor office complex with retail on the floors below. Its tenants include Sydney's largest H&M store and Platypus Shoes on multiple levels with about 5,000 square metres retail area. Access to the retail levels is from Pitt Street Mall, King Street, Westfield Sydney and a skybridge from 25 Martin Place.

Grahame's Corner is a heritage-listed commercial and office building located at 142-144 Pitt Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by G. A. Morell and built from 1877 to 1882. It is also known as Grahams Corner and the AMFIS Building. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Trust Building is a heritage-listed office and commercial building and former hotel located at 72-72a Castlereagh Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Robertson & Marks and built from 1914 to 1916 by Stuart Brothers. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The club was formed in 1895 by a group of bookmakers disgruntled with a judge's decision on a race at Kensington, New South Wales. The Strand Arcade is a heritage-listed Victorian-style retail arcade located at 195-197 Pitt Street in the heart of the Sydney central business district, between Pitt Street Mall and George Street in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by John B. Spencer, assisted by Charles E. Fairfax; and built from 1890 to 1892 by Bignell and Clark (1891), with renovations completed by Stephenson & Turner (1976). The only remaining arcade of its kind in Sydney, the property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 13 December 2011.Being three storeys high, the arcade has the traditional-styled protruding galleries, cedar staircases, tiled floors, cast iron balusters and timber framed shop fronts, under a prominent, tinted glass roof to reduce glare. The arcade contains the preliminary boutiques that characterized the Sydney shopping experience of the 1890s. When the arcade opened in 1892, it was said to be the very latest in shopping centre designs and was described as, "The finest public thoroughfare in the Australian colonies". The arcade has endured two depressions, two World Wars and two major fires. The restored shop fronts are an exact replica of the original internal shopping facades.
