Morpeth Town Hall is a municipal building in the Market Place, Morpeth, Northumberland, England. The structure, which was the meeting place of Morpeth Borough Council, is a Grade II listed building.

Morpeth is a historic market town in Northumberland, England, lying on the River Wansbeck. Nearby towns include Ashington and Bedlington. In the 2011 census, the population of Morpeth was given as 14,017, up from 13,833 in the 2001 census. The earliest evidence of settlement is believed to be from the Neolithic period, and some Roman artifacts have also been found. The first written mention of the town is from 1080, when the de Merlay family was granted the barony of Morpeth. The meaning of the town's name is uncertain, but it may refer to its position on the road to Scotland and a murder which occurred on that road. The de Merlay family built two castles in the town in the late 11th century and the 13th century. The town was granted its coat of arms in 1552. By the mid-1700s it had become one of the main markets in England, having been granted a market charter in 1200, but the opening of the railways in the 1800s led the market to decline. The town's history is celebrated in the annual Northumbrian Gathering. Morpeth is governed by Northumberland County Council and Morpeth Town Council. The town is split into three wards – North, Kirkhill and Stobhill – for the purposes of parish elections. In 2008 the town suffered a severe flood, which was repeated in 2012, resulting in the construction of new flood defences. Morpeth railway station is on the east coast line and a curve to the south of it has caused several rail crashes. Several sports teams compete in Morpeth, with Morpeth Town A.F.C. having been the winner of the FA Vase in 2016. The town hosted its own Olympics from 1873 to 1958. Two middle schools, a high school and seven first schools are situated in Morpeth, as well as several churches of Anglican, Roman Catholic, United Reformed and Methodist denominations. Morpeth's Carlisle Park, the recipient of several awards, contains one of the four floral clocks in England.

Morpeth Clock Tower is a building located off the Market Place Morpeth. The tower stands 60 ft high with walls 3 ft 6 in thick. It stands close to the Morpeth Town Hall (originally designed by Vanbrugh in 1714) and the YMCA buildings of 1905. It is Grade II* listed building.

Collingwood House is a late 18th-century Georgian house, having Grade II* listed building status, at Oldgate, Morpeth, Northumberland. It was the home of Admiral Lord Collingwood from 1791 to his death at sea in 1810.The house is now used as the presbytery for the priest at the nearby Roman Catholic Church dedicated to St Robert of Newminster. The house hosts an annual celebration to commemorate Trafalgar Day on 21 October, particularly the role played by Admiral Lord Collingwood, whose ship helped break the Spanish line at the Battle of Trafalgar.

St Robert of Newminster Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in Morpeth, Northumberland, England. It was built from 1848 to 1849 in the Early English Gothic style. It is located on Oldgate in the town, overlooking the River Wansbeck. It is a Grade II listed building.

Morpeth Chantry also known as All Saints Chantry is a Grade I listed building situated adjacent to the site of the ancient bridge across the River Wansbeck at Morpeth, Northumberland.It was built in about 1296 and served both as a chapel dedicated to All Saints and as a toll house for the river crossing. The duties of the appointed chaplain also included those of schoolmaster.The suppression of the monasteries by Henry VIII was followed in 1547 by the suppression of chantries by Edward VI and the building was deconsecrated. In 1552 a Royal Charter was granted for the establishment of a free grammar school. The school now known as King Edward VI School occupied the site until a new school was built elsewhere in the Borough in 1846.Thereafter the building was occupied for a variety of commercial purposes including a mineral water factory. In 1974 the neglected and deteriorating property was acquired by the local authority and after restoration and refurbishment was opened for community use in 1984. Tenants occupying the building include the Northern Poetry Library, Northumbria Craft Centre, Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum, and the Tourist Information Office.

The Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum is located in Morpeth Chantry, Morpeth, Northumberland, England. The museum, founded in 1987, contains a large collection of historic bagpipes, especially, but not exclusively, historic Northumbrian smallpipes and Border pipes, mainly based on the collection of William Alfred Cocks (1892-1971). The collection had initially been housed in the Black Gate, Newcastle upon Tyne, the home of the city's Society of Antiquaries. The collection also includes a large collection of bagpipe music, both in print and in manuscript, and Cocks's collection of photographs and press cuttings relating to bagpipes; many of these refer to the early years of the Northumbrian Pipers' Society. The current curator is Anne Moore.The museum provides a venue for the regular meetings of the Northumbrian Pipers' Society. In September 2008, disastrous flooding in central Morpeth forced the successful evacuation of the entire collection. After extensive repairs and refurbishment, the Chantry was reopened the following year, with a visit by the Princess Royal.

Morpeth Castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a Grade I listed building at Morpeth, Northumberland, in northeast England. It has been restored by the Landmark Trust and is now available as a holiday rental home.

St Mary's, also known as St Mary the Virgin, is an ancient Grade I listed Church of England parish church located in Morpeth, Northumberland. The church is to the south of the River Wansbeck in Morpeth, which is an area known as High Church. The oldest remaining parts of the structure belong to the Transitional Early English style of the mid to late 12th century, but the church is mostly in the 14th century style. The church, which was the main Anglican place of worship in the area until the 1840s, has been restored several times after being destroyed by the Scandinavians, Scottish and Cromwellians in the 10th and later centuries.The grave of Emily Wilding Davison, a suffragette who was killed when she fell under the King's horse during The Derby in 1913, lies in St Mary's graveyard. Her gravestone bears the slogan of the Women's Social and Political Union: "Deeds not words".

Morpeth Court is a former judicial structure on Castle Bank, Morpeth, Northumberland, England. The structure, which used to be the entrance block for a prison as well as the main courthouse for the area, is a Grade II* listed building.

St James the Great, or St James' Church, is a Grade II* listed church in Morpeth, Northumberland. The entrance screen which allows access to the churchyard from Newgate Street is also separately Grade II* listed. The church is still used for services and is currently part of the Anglican parish of Morpeth.

Mafeking Park is a public park in Morpeth, Northumberland, England at the bottom of Station Bank. It was unsuccessfully put forward by locals to be listed as the smallest park in the world in the Guinness Book of Records. The park was originally a triangle of land bounded by roads but after road improvements is now a small roundabout. Recently, the area around the roundabout has been subject to improvements, including the installation of off and on road cycle routes.
