Beckfield College is a private for-profit college in Florence, Kentucky. It was founded in 1984 by Harry L. Beck.

The Florence Y'all Water Tower is a water tower owned by the city of Florence, Kentucky, United States. It stands between the Florence Mall and Interstate 75/Interstate 71, where it is seen by millions of interstate motorists annually. The tower, built in 1974 and initially painted with the words FLORENCE MALL in giant letters, became a regional landmark after the M was changed to Y' to address legal concerns. The water tower, which can hold about 1 million US gallons (3,800 m3), stands in Boone County in northern Kentucky, due south of Runway 18L/36R of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and between I-75/I-71 and Mall Circle Road, northeast of the mall.

Florence Mall is an indoor shopping mall in Florence, Kentucky, United States. Built in 1976 by Homart Development Company, the mall originally featured Sears, Shillito's, Pogue's, and JCPenney as its four anchor stores. The mall features over 100 stores and a food court. Another notable feature of the mall is the Florence Y'all Water Tower on the mall property; this water tower originally bore the mall's name, but was altered prior to the mall's opening. The mall's anchor stores are JCPenney and two locations of Macy's, with the former location of Sears being vacant. Florence Mall is owned and managed by Namdar Realty Group.

Hopeful Lutheran Church was chartered on January 6, 1806. It was founded by a group of colonists from Virginia who settled in Boone County. In 1807, the first log church was built on an acre of donated land. Hopeful did not have a full-time pastor until October 1813 when Rev. William Carpenter (a Revolutionary War veteran) moved to Boone County to be the first Pastor. While fires destroyed the first three structures, the current church building was finished in 1917 in Florence, Kentucky. This is the fourth church structure on the site serving the same Lutheran congregation.A group of 14 families associated with the Hebron Lutheran Church of Germanna, Madison Co. VA, settled in Boone County in 1805. Family names included Hoffman, Rouse, Tanner, Hanse, Carpenter, and Zimmermann. Their descendants are well represented in the current population of Boone County. Hopeful Lutheran Church was the first Lutheran church in the county and its first regular pastor, William Carpenter, moved to the area in 1813.

Boone County High School is located in Florence, Kentucky, United States. The school was opened in 1954, consolidating Burlington, Florence, New Haven and Hebron High Schools. Originally, the school did not have a mascot, but after polling the first class, the students adopts the name "Rebels", taken from the 1955 film Rebel Without A Cause.

Florence is a home rule-class city in Boone County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 31,946 at the 2020 census. It is the second largest city in Northern Kentucky, the eighth-largest city in Kentucky and the state's largest that is not a county seat. Florence is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area.

The Clinton Blankenbeker House, at 7414 US 42 in Florence, Kentucky, is a historic house built in 1927. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The listing also included two other contributing buildings and a contributing structure.It is a one-and-a-half-story common bond brick house. It was deemed "a good example of the Craftsman/Bungalow style, significant to Boone County in the period 1905-1930. The garage, chicken coop, and well head are important outbuildings and related resources which define the architecture space and function of houses during the period of significance."

Turfway Park is an American horse racing track located within the city limits of Florence, Kentucky, about 10 miles (16 km) south of the Ohio River at Cincinnati. The track conducts live Thoroughbred horse racing during two meets each year—Holiday (December), and Winter/Spring (January to late March/early April)—and offers year-round simulcast wagering from tracks across the continent. In 2009, the Horseplayers Association of North America introduced a rating system for (currently) 62 Thoroughbred racetracks in North America. In 2016, Turfway was ranked #11.

The Florence Fire Station on Main Street in Florence, Kentucky was built in 1937. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.It was deemed "a good example of the Georgian Revival/Colonial Revival style, significant to Boone County in the period 1900-1945." It was the station of the Florence Volunteer Fire Department, organized in 1934. Among its initial efforts, Albert Hue, organizer, bought a 1913 Ahrens-Fox fire pumper for $75 and borrowed hose from the Elsmere Fire Department.

The John Delehunty House, at 212 Main St. in Florence, Kentucky, was a historic Tudor Revival-style house built in 1920. It was deemed significant as "a good example of the Tudor Revival style significant to Boone County in the period 1910-1940", one of just two Tudor Revival buildings in Boone County identified in a study of historic resources. It was apparently demolished before 2015.

Thomas More Stadium is a stadium in Florence, Kentucky. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of the Florence Y'alls of the Frontier League, an independent baseball league. It originally opened in 2004 as Champion Window Field and holds 4,500 people.On November 27, 2012, the then-named Florence Freedom announced that UC Health, the healthcare system of the University of Cincinnati, had signed a 10-year naming rights deal, giving the ballpark its UC Health Stadium name. In May 2021, it was reported that the team was looking for a new naming rights partner after UC Health dropped its sponsorship, and that the team would be using the name Y'alls Ballpark for their home field. In March 2022, the Y'alls announced that Thomas More University had acquired the naming rights, and that the university's baseball team would play at Thomas More Stadium starting in 2023.

Oakbrook is a census-designated place (CDP) in Boone County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 9,268 at the 2020 census.
