The Underground Railway Museum (Hungarian: Földalatti Vasúti Múzeum), also known as the Millenium Underground Museum, is a museum located under Deák Ferenc square in the centre of the Hungarian capital city of Budapest. It is accessible from the pedestian subway system that links the square to Deák Ferenc tér metro station and is housed in a tunnel that once carried the tracks of line M1 of the Budapest Metro.

Deák Ferenc tér is a transfer station on the M1, M2, and M3 lines of the Budapest Metro. It is located under the eponymous city square in central Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. Owing to its direct transfer connection between three out of the four metro lines Budapest has and its downtown location, it is one of the busiest stations in the system.

The Deák Ferenc square (Deák Ferenc tér), named for Ferenc Deák, is a major intersection and transport junction in Budapest. Károly körút, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, Király utca, Deák Ferenc utca, and Harmincad utca converge here. Three lines of the Budapest Metro each converge on the station under the square.Tram lines 47 and 49 also originate from the square, as well as several bus lines. Deák Ferenc tér is a popular gathering spot for young people. Alcoholic beverages are sold at the grassy area, and it is common for Deák Ferenc tér to be populated until the midnight hours. Deák Tér is mentioned in Ending Theme, a song by Swedish progressive metal band Pain of Salvation.

Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út (Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street) is a station of the yellow M1 (Millennium Underground) line of the Budapest Metro. The station was opened on 2 May 1896 as part of the inaugural section of the Budapest Metro, between Vörösmarty tér and Széchenyi fürdő. This section, known as the Millennium Underground Railway, was the first mostro system in continental Europe. In 2002, it was included into the World Heritage Site "Budapest, including the Banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter and Andrássy Avenue".It is named for Endre Bajcsy-Zsilinszky a member of the Independent Smallholders, Agrarian Workers and Civic Party and leader of the resistance who was executed toward the end of the Second World War. It was formerly named Váczy körút.

Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, a member of the Kempinski group, is a five star hotel in Budapest, Hungary. Forbes gives it a four-star rating.It is located in the city centre of Pest in the district of Erzsébetváros, next to Erzsébet Square, near the Danube, Dohány Street Synagogue, St. Stephen's Basilica, Andrássy Avenue, Hungarian State Opera House, Budapest British Embassy. The C-shape building was designed by Hungarian architect József Finta and as hotel opened in 1992 with 335 rooms, 31 suites, restaurants, bar, spa and meeting facilities. The hotel is named after King Matthias Corvinus, who ruled Hungary in the late 15th century.

St. Stephen's Basilica (Hungarian: Szent István-bazilika [sɛnt ˈiʃtvaːn ˈbɒzilikɒ]) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c. 975–1038), whose right hand is housed in the reliquary. Since the renaming of the primatial see, it has been the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest. Today, it is the third largest church building in present-day Hungary. It is the largest church in Budapest and a World Heritage Site.

The Rumbach Street synagogue (Hungarian: Rumbach utcai zsinagóga) is located in Belváros, the inner city of the historical old town of Pest, in the eastern section of Budapest. The synagogue in Rumbach Street was built in 1872 to the design of the Viennese architect Otto Wagner. Intentionally meant to serve the members of the Neológ community of Pest, its construction coincided with the Schism in Hungarian Jewry of 1869, and it became the home of the more conservative Status Quo faction. The Moorish Revival synagogue has eight sides and has recently been restored with a grant from the Budapest Government. The octagonal, balconied, domed synagogue intricately patterned and painted in Islamic style is exquisitely beautiful. It was built not as an exact replica of, but as an homage to the style of the octagonal, domed Dome of the Rock shrine in Jerusalem. Historically, but especially since the completion of its renovation in the summer of 2021, the synagogue regularly hosts plays, concerts, photo exhibits and other cultural events.The Rabbi of the Rumbach Street synagogue was Rabbi Shloime Boruch Schmalhausen until the Holocaust and deportation of the Jews of Budapest.

Váci utca (Váci street) is one of the main pedestrian thoroughfares and perhaps the most famous street of central Budapest, Hungary. It features many restaurants and shops catering primarily to the tourist market. The Lonely Planet says "It's tourist central, but the line of cafés and shops are worth seeing — at least once."Váci utca is one of the main shopping streets in Budapest. Among the retailers located here are: Zara, H&M, Mango, ESPRIT, Douglas AG, Swarovski, Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Nike. The street opens to Vörösmarty Square. The street is known for clip joints. Some of these pretend to be strip clubs, but others present themselves as ordinary bars. Typically a female couple ask for directions to a bar and one of them will say it's her birthday. The goal is to lure the tourists into the bar, then order expensive drinks and let the tourists pay for these expensive drinks.

Ferenciek tere (English: Square of the Franciscans) is a square and junction in Budapest. In addition to being the site of a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro, it is an important public transport junction for the BKV bus line number 7, which connects Pest and southern Buda. The place is right in the middle of the city. The fashionable shopping avenue Váci utca opens from there. The square hosts an internationally recognized gourmet restaurant and a bookstore-publisher complex for Roman Catholic religious literature. The Erzsébet Bridge over the Danube is a five-minute walk from the Metro.

Vörösmarty tér or Vörösmarty square is a public square in the Budapest city centre at the northern end of Váci utca.At the centre of the square facing west is a statue by Eduard Telcs and Ede Kallós of poet Mihály Vörösmarty. Behind the monument is a fenced park and a fountain flanked by stone lions. At the north end of the square is the Café Gerbeaud and stairs to the southern terminus of the Budapest Metro's line M1. The square is also a business area, including offices for Ibusz and Aeroflot. The British Embassy is located at the square.

Ferenciek tere is a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro located under the eponymous square in the Downtown. It is an important junction, as several bus lines from Buda pass through or terminate here. It is also the station closest to the geographical city centre of Budapest. The station's name was Felszabadulás tér ("Liberation" Square) before 1990. The station was opened on 31 December 1976 as part of the inaugural section of Line M3 between Deák Ferenc tér and Nagyvárad tér.

Café Gerbeaud, situated at Vörösmarty tér 7 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a traditional coffeehouse opened in 1858. It was built in Gründerzeit style. In 2009 Café Gerbeaud opened its second confectionery in Tokyo, Japan.
