London Fields Brewery is a brewery in the London Fields area of Hackney, East London, in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2011 as the first commercial brewery to open in Hackney since the 19th century. In December 2014, the company fell into trouble following the arrest of co-founder Julian de Vere Whiteway-Wilkinson, on suspicion of tax evasion. In 2017, London Fields Brewery was purchased in a joint-venture by Brooklyn Brewery and Carlsberg UK with plans to bring brewing back onsite.

Festifeel is an annual music festival held to raise money for breast cancer awareness. The festival is organised by the English breast cancer charity CoppaFeel. It describes itself as "Britain's only boutique music festival with boobs in mind".

The Dolphin is a Grade II listed public house and nightclub at 165 Mare Street, Hackney Central in the London Borough of Hackney, London.It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.It was built about 1850.In mid 2013 the pub was at risk of closure after Hackney police claimed 92 reports of thefts between June 2012 and June 2013. An online petition was created to save the venue, which as of 16 September 2013 had received 2678 signatures and a social media campaign on Twitter using the hashtag #SaveTheDolphin attracted support from presenter Caroline Flack and even telecoms company O2. Actor Michael Fassbender also gave his support to the petition sharing that John Maclean's short film Pitch Black Heist, in which he starred, had scenes filmed at the pub.In September 2013, Hackney Council stripped the pub of its 4 am late licence after local police applied for a review citing 160 crimes were reported at the venue between 2010 and 2013, including a firearm incident and rising thefts. However a year later in September 2014, the pub regained its 4 am weekend licence following a decision at Stratford magistrates court, with Hackney Council's chair of licensing councillor Emma Plouviez saying: "Managers at The Dolphin have made efforts to tackle the disproportionately high levels of theft at the pub."In 2021, the venue's licence was suspended after the police raised concerns about their response to a serious assault on Friday, October 15th where a man was hit with a glass and subsequently required hospital treatment.

It is 2 miles 35 chains (3.9 km) down-line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Cambridge Heath and Hackney Downs. Its three-letter station code is LOF and it is in Travelcard zone 2.

Nobrow Press is a British publishing company based in London, England. Nobrow is known for its bi-annual eponymous anthology, for publishing the works of Blexbolex, Luke Pearson, Jon McNaught and Jesse Moynihan, and for exposing the English-speaking world to works by European artists. The publisher is seen as a champion of DIY culture.Nobrow's works are distributed in the U.S. by Penguin Random House.

London Fields is a park in Hackney, London, although the name also refers to the immediate area in Hackney surrounding it and London Fields station. It is common land adjoining the Hackney Central area of the London Borough of Hackney. The park covers an area of 12.65 hectares (31.3 acres), and includes sporting and recreation facilities. The park's history is recorded as early as the 13th century, and it has been known as London Fields since the mid-16th century.

Ash Grove bus garage is a bus garage in Hackney, East London. It is located on the Mare Street, where it crosses the Regent's Canal. The depot is occupied by two companies, Arriva London and Stagecoach London, and holds around thirty buses. Opened in 1981 by London Buses, it was closed in 1991 following the abandonment of the London Forest subsidiary, but reopened in 1994 by Kentish Bus. East Thames Buses have also used the site.

The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art & Natural History is a museum and bar in Hackney, situated in a former call centre on Mare Street in the London Borough of Hackney. It is operated by Viktor Wynd and part of The Last Tuesday Society and was funded on Kickstarter in 2015.The museum collection includes classic curiosities such as hairballs, two headed lambs and Fiji mermaids, its art collection spans several centuries including the largest collection of work by Austin Osman Spare on public display and what is reputed to be the country's largest collection of work by the Anglo-Mexican surrealist Leonora Carrington. The museum's natural history collection includes dodo bones and extinct bird feathers, as well as much taxidermy and the skeleton of a giant anteater. It has a section dedicated to the Dandy, including Sebastian Horsley's nails from his crucifixion and drawings and archive material to do with Stephen Tennant, a collection of human remains including shrunken heads, Tribal Skulls, dead babies in bottles and parts of pickled prostitutes, tribal art collected in The Congo and New Guinea by the proprietor, fossils, and scientific and medical instruments. It also displays celebrity faecal matter, erotica and condoms used by the Rolling Stones. The contents of the museum are insured for £1 million. The museum is generally open to the public but is occasionally hired out for private events.The Museum holds regular exhibitions of artists including Alasdair Gray, Mervyn Peake, Gunter Grass, Robin Ironside and English Surrealists.

Kate MacGarry is an eponymous contemporary art gallery located in London. It first opened in November 2002 on Redchurch Street in London's East End. From April 2007 to April 2011 the gallery was located on Vyner Street, and in May 2011 the gallery moved back to its roots on Old Nichol Street, close to Redchurch Street in Shoreditch.The gallery represents several international artists including Matt Bryans, Marcus Coates, Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, Samson Kambalu, Dr Lakra, 2008 John Moores 25 Contemporary Painting Prize winner Peter McDonald, Goshka Macuga, Ben Rivers Francis Upritchard, and 2019 Turner prize nominee Helen Cammock. Kambalu and Upritchard were named among the 50 most exciting artists in Europe in 2016. The gallery's booth, which showcased Goshka Macuga's Preparatory Notes for a Chicago Comedy was named one of the top ten at Frieze Art Fair 2014.In 2020, the gallery was one of the founding members of the Gallery Climate Coalition.

Dent-de-Leone is a small independent publisher located in London, distinctive for its collaboration directly with artists and designers to produce its books. It was founded by Martino Gamper, Kajsa Ståhl and Maki Suzuki (both from design collective Åbäke) in 2004 with the publication of a book by Gamper. The publisher produces an irregular number of books per year, as well as limited editions and multiples. Dent-De-Leone has participated in numerous art book fairs including the Whitechapel Art Book Fair, Publish And Be Damned and the Motto art book fair. All of its publications are designed by Åbäke.

MOT International, formerly MOT Gallery, was a contemporary art gallery in east London run by Chris Hammond. It opened in 2002 and closed in 2016.
