Daan King Building, or Ta Ann King Building (Chinese: 大安國王大樓; pinyin: Dà'ān guówáng dàlóu), is a skyscraper office building located in South District, Taichung, Taiwan. The height of the building is 151 m (495 ft), with a floor area of 56,850 m2 (611,900 sq ft), and it comprises 42 floors above ground, as well as four basement levels. The building was completed in 1994 and was one of the earliest skyscrapers in Taichung as well as the first building to reach more than 40 floors in the city. Daan King Building and Daan International Building located on the opposite side of the road are commonly known as Taichung Twin Towers, as the two buildings have almost the same appearance, however their completion dates are different by three years. As of January 2021, it is the 20th tallest building in Taichung.

The Grand Forever (Chinese: 由鉅大恆) is a complex of twin residential skyscrapers located in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. The height of the buildings are 135 m (443 ft), with a total floor area of 56,083 m2 (603,670 sq ft), comprising 35 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels. The buildings were completed in 2016. As of January 2021, it is 30th tallest building in Taichung. The building was constructed under strict requirements of preventing damage caused by earthquakes and typhoons common in Taiwan.

Taichung Municipal Taichung Girls' Senior High School (TCGS; Chinese: 臺中市立臺中女子高級中學, also 台中女中) is a senior high school in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. Taichung Girls' Senior High School is one of the most selective high schools in Taichung and is frequently referred to as one of Taiwan's "Star High Schools" (Chinese: 明星高中).The school has a well-known marching band that has been invited to perform at events such as the Taichung City National Day celebrations.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA; traditional Chinese: 國立臺灣美術館; simplified Chinese: 国立台湾美术馆; pinyin: Guólì Táiwān Měishùguǎn) is a museum in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. NTMoFA was established in 1988 and is the first and the only national-grade fine arts museum in Taiwan. The major collections are works by Taiwanese artists, covering modern and contemporary Taiwanese arts. The museum covers 102,000 square meters, including the Public Outdoor Sculpture park, making it one of the largest museums in Asia. National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts was temporarily closed for renovation in 1999 due to damages caused by the 921 Earthquake and reopened in July 2004. From 2011 to 2016, NTMoFA attracted more than 1 million visitors each year.
