Warwick Square

The Grosvenor School of Modern Art was a private British art school and, in its shortened form ("Grosvenor School"), the name of a brief British-Australian art movement. It was founded in 1925 by the Scottish wood engraver Iain Macnab in his house at 33 Warwick Square in Pimlico, London.: 31  From 1925 to 1930 Claude Flight ran it with him, and also taught linocutting there; among his students were Sybil Andrews, Cyril Power, Lill Tschudi and William Greengrass.: 400 

St Gabriel's, Pimlico, is a Church of England, Anglo-Catholic parish church in Pimlico, London. It lies within the Deanery of Westminster (St Margaret) within the Diocese of London. Designed by Thomas Cundy (junior), it was constructed between 1851 and 1853 as part of Thomas Cubitt's development of the area on behalf of the Marquess of Westminster. It is a Grade II* Listed Building.

The Denbigh Arms is a former pub at 3 Denbigh Place, Pimlico, London SW1. It is a Grade II listed building, built in the mid 19th century. The pub closed in 1998 and the building is now a private house.

A. Wong is a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant, located in Pimlico, London. It serves modern British retake on traditional Cantonese dishes. It is owned by Andrew Wong, a third-generation London restaurateur who is also the restaurant's chef de cuisine.

Belgrave Road is a street in the Pimlico area of London. It is situated in the city of Westminster and runs between Eccleston Bridge to the northwest and Lupus Street to the southeast. The street and the adjacent area were developed by Thomas Cubitt in the 1840s, who considered it as dwellings for the middle class, as opposed to those he had developed in Belgravia for the more affluent. The widths of the properties were comparatively narrow. As a result, the area went into decline but has more recently improved in both appearance and use. There are three green spaces along its length, which is only 750 metres long. These are Eccleston Square, Warwick Square, and St George's Square. Belgrave Road is the home of HM Passport Office and two private schools. For the most part, both sides of the road are terraced stucco-fronted houses, giving the street an appearance of elegance from a previous age. Many of these houses have been converted into hotels, some of which have combined three adjacent houses. There are over twenty hotels in a street where the house numbers do not exceed 140. This gives rise to a very mobile population. Except where Warwick Way crosses Belgrave Road, there are no shops, and even at this crossing there is only a small convenience store and a public house, the "Marquis of Westminster". Its proximity to Victoria Station has made it a popular street for tourists.

Pimlico () is an area of Central London in the City of Westminster, built as a southern extension to neighbouring Belgravia. It is known for its garden squares and distinctive Regency architecture. Pimlico is demarcated to the north by Victoria Station, by the River Thames to the south, Vauxhall Bridge Road to the east and the former Grosvenor Canal to the west. At its heart is a grid of residential streets laid down by the planner Thomas Cubitt, beginning in 1825 and now protected as the Pimlico Conservation Area. The most prestigious are those on garden squares, with buildings decreasing in grandeur away from St George's Square, Warwick Square, Eccleston Square and the main thoroughfares of Belgrave Road and St. George's Drive. Additions have included the pre–World War II Dolphin Square and the Churchill Gardens and Lillington and Longmoore Gardens estates, now conservation areas in their own right. The area has over 350 Grade II listed buildings and several Grade II* listed churches. At the western edge of Pimlico, on the borders of Chelsea, Pimlico Road has become known in recent years for its interiors and design stores.

The Buddhist Society is a UK registered charity which aims to encourage the study and practice of Buddhist principles. The Buddhist Society is an inter-denominational and non-sectarian lay organization. It offers talks and classes on the teachings of all the different major mainstream Buddhist schools and traditions, as well as a structured programme of courses on general Buddhism, for both the public and members. It has a publishing programme and in its premises houses one of the main libraries in Britain on Buddhism. It is managed by an elected council and its patron is the 14th Dalai Lama. Among other publications, it produces The Buddhist Directory, a reference book which lists the vast majority of Buddhist groups, centres and other related organisations in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and The Middle Way, a quarterly journal (referring to the Buddhist concept of a Middle Way).

Tachbrook Street Market (formerly Warwick Street Market) is an outdoor street market on the north end of Tachbrook Street between the junctions with Warwick Way and Churton Street in the Pimlico area of the City of Westminster. Licences to trade are issued by Westminster City Council.

The statue of Thomas Cubitt is a statue that stands in Pimlico, London, on the intersection of Denbigh Street and St George's Drive. Thomas Cubitt was a Master builder who worked throughout London. His contributions include parts of the Victoria Embankment, Buckingham Palace as well as extensive work on Pimlico and Belgravia, which would host his building works and later be given the nickname of 'Mr Cubitt's District'. Cubitt was also well known for his interest in public and charitable works. Much of his will was dedicated to charity and was the longest on record. The statue was unveiled in 1995 by the Duke of Westminster. The site was given by the Sanctuary Housing Association Designed by William Fawke, it depicts Cubitt standing atop a pile of bricks in the process of inspecting them. In 2000, a statue from the same cast was erected in Dorking.
