Catlettsburg is an unincorporated community in Sevier County, Tennessee, United States. It is accessible via Tennessee State Route 66 and Tennessee State Route 338, north of downtown Sevierville and some of community has been annexed by the city.

Wilderness at the Smokies is a resort located on Wilderness Territories property in Sevierville, Tennessee. It opened in 2008 as part of the new Bridgemont development, which, along with the resort itself, now includes shopping, dining, and conference facilities.

The Little Pigeon River is a river located entirely within Sevier County, Tennessee. It rises from a series of streams which flow together on the dividing ridge between the states of Tennessee and North Carolina, with most of the flow from inside the boundary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The river has three main forks or prongs, East, Middle, and West. The East and Middle prongs are less notable divisions of the river, with the Middle Prong emerging from the Greenbrier area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and paralleled for most of its remaining length by State Route 416 up to its confluence with the East Fork near U.S. Route 411. The East Fork is the only division in which the main stem does not emerge from the national park, formed by a series of small streams in the foothills of English Mountain draining large portions of the Camp Hollow, Pearl Valley, Ball Hollow, and Jones Cove valleys and running along State Road 339. The Harrisburg Covered Bridge is a landmark structure from the 1800s that crosses the East Fork. The West Fork is far better known because it drains the major tourist towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Old Mill of Pigeon Forge, a working grist mill constructed in 1830 by Isaac Love on a milldam impoundment of the West Fork in downtown Pigeon Forge, is one of the best examples of 19th century hydropower technology, as well as being one of the most photographed mills in America. The confluence of the West and East forks is at Sevierville at Forks of the River. From there the stream continues to flow northward, paralleled by State Route 66, until its confluence with the French Broad River just downstream from Douglas Dam. Despite its name, it is not a tributary of the nearby Pigeon River, which flows into the French Broad well above Douglas Dam and the resultant reservoir.

Douglas Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the French Broad River in Sevier County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The dam is operated by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), which built the dam in record time in the early 1940s to meet emergency energy demands at the height of World War II. Douglas Dam is a straight reinforced concrete gravity-type dam 1705 feet (520 m) long and 202 feet (62 m) high, impounding the 28,420-acre (11,500 ha) Douglas Lake. The dam was named for Douglas Bluff, a cliff overlooking the dam site prior to construction.

Douglas Lake, also called Douglas Reservoir, is a reservoir created by an impoundment of the French Broad River in Eastern Tennessee. This lake is located only a few miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, and also the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Douglas Dam was built by the Tennessee Valley Authority at a record pace from February 2, 1942, through February 19, 1943, to provide hydroelectric power and to control flooding downstream in the Tennessee River Valley. Douglas Dam is located just over 32 miles (51 km) upstream from the French Broad River's confluence with the Holston River in Knoxville, to form the Tennessee River. The Douglas Lake reservoir inundates about a 40-mile (64 km) stretch of the French Broad River between the Douglas Dam and the Irish Bottoms area near Newport. Small portions of the Nolichucky and Pigeon rivers are also impounded by the lake. During the winter months, the Tennessee Valley Authority lowers the water level to help control flooding, meet power demands, and many other objectives. This is important to know in advance to make plans to stay near the lake. The resort town of Baneberry is located on the northern shores of the lake in Jefferson County. Dandridge, the county seat of Jefferson County, is located mostly on the northern shores with a small portion on the southern. Parts of downtown Dandridge are located below the lake's operating levels, and are protected by an earthen dam.

WSEV (930 AM) operates as Sevierville, Tennessee's first and only local AM radio station. While other stations are licensed to Sevierville, their studios are based in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Sevierville Masonic Lodge was a historic building in Sevierville, Tennessee. Constructed in 1893, it was used as a meeting hall for a local Masonic lodge. During 1928–1968, the Sevierville Public Library occupied the first floor, at no charge. The Masons moved out and the building was sold at auction in 1973 to a bank which made renovations.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The building was demolished in 2006 for a parking lot, and was removed from the National Register in 2022

Burchfiel Grove and Arboretum is an arboretum located on Hardin Lane, Sevierville, Tennessee. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum is a part of a greenway system running along the Little Pigeon River. It is maintained by the Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department, and contains over 30 labeled tree species and numerous types of shrubs.

Sevierville Commercial Historic District is a 3.5 acres (1.4 ha) historic district in Sevierville, Tennessee. It has 21 contributing buildings along sections of Bruce Street, Court Avenue, and Commerce Street including the Sevier County Courthouse (which is separately NRHP-listed). The courthouse was built in 1896 one block south of the town square where the former courthouse was located.Buildings in the district are: 136 E. Bruce Street 132 E. Bruce Street 120 E. Bruce Street (c.1970), non-contributing 118 E. Bruce Street (c.1925), one-story brick building 110-114 E. The Sevier County Courthouse in Sevierville, Tennessee is a historic courthouse built in 1895. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.It was designed in Beaux Arts style by the McDonald Brothers of Louisville. It is tall and visible from quite far away.There is a statue of Dolly Parton designed by sculptor Jim Gray on the grounds of the courthouse.

The Waters House, at 217 Cedar St. in Sevierville, Tennessee, was built around 1895. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. It was originally the house of Dr. A.W. Trotter, a dentist. Its NRHP nomination describes:The home is a three story clapboard structure which is highlighted by the decor of craftsman, Louis Buckner, a nineteenth century black carpenter of exceptional skill. Gables abound on the home at various levels; three are formed on each side of the house to terminate the bay windows at the roof. "Butterfly wings" drape the sides of the bay windows at the second floor; the wings are the work of Buckner. The porch is trimmed with "Dumbbell" dowels and gingerbread trim; it is rounded at the corner toward the rear of the home. The yard is nicely landscaped and outlined by an iron fence in front.The interior brings the home alive. The woodwork of Buckner is found in almost every room. The local carpenter had a unique style which included simple geometric designs and carvings of floral patterns. The majority of his work was done in oak and other hardwoods. In the parlor is an elaborately carved aantel, the most attractive piece of his work in the house. The mantel is about eight feet high of carved oak. Buckner placed a tilting beveled mirror above the fireplace which is outlined in tile and covered by a brass grate. Another mantel of lesser proportion but similar pattern is found in the sitting room. Various pieces of Buckner's furniture are also to be found in the home.
