Gansevoort, New York

Gansevoort Mansion is a historic home located at Gansevoort in Saratoga County, New York. It was built in 1813 and is two-story, five-bay rectangular building with a gable roof and central entrance. It features a front verandah with fluted Doric order columns. It was once used as a Masonic Lodge. It was built by Herman Gansevoort (1779–1862), son of General Peter Gansevoort (1749–1812) and uncle of the American novelist Herman Melville. It is now operated as an inn and cafe. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Dutch Reformed Church of Gansevoort is a historic Dutch Reformed church at 10 Catherine Street in Gansevoort, Saratoga County, New York. It was built about 1840 and is a two-story, rectangular brick building on a cut-stone foundation in a vernacular Greek Revival style. It is topped by a moderately pitched, slate-covered gable roof. It features a wooden belfry with louvered openings topped with a pedimented gable roof. The church closed in the 1950s.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, and was demolished in 1996.

Moreau is named after Jean Victor Moreau, a French general, who visited the area just before the town was formed. The town contains a village called South Glens Falls.

Moreau Lake is a lake that is located west of Fortsville, New York. Fish species present in the lake are rainbow trout, pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a boat rental place on the lake. There is a state owned boat launch and carry down in Moreau Lake State Park. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Moreau Lake State Park is a 6,250-acre (2,530 ha) state park in Saratoga County, New York, United States.The park is located in the southwest part of the town of Moreau on US 9 off Interstate 87. It has over 20 mi (32 km) of hiking trails. It is located near the Hudson River.

Mount McGregor is a mountain in Saratoga County, New York in the towns of Wilton, Moreau, and Corinth. It is one of the principal peaks of the Palmertown Range. The Palmertown range is the most easterly of the five great mountain-chains which traverse the great wilderness. The Palmertown range begins on Lake Champlain, near Ticonderoga, and running down on both sides of Lake George, crosses the Hudson above Glen's Falls, and running through the town of Wilton, ends in the high ground of North Broadway, in Saratoga Springs. There are two lakes on the mountain, Lake Bonita and Lake Anna, which were previously used for fishing.

Old Fort House is a historic house at 29 Lower Broadway in Fort Edward, Washington County, New York. The house is owned by the Fort Edward Historical Association and operated as a local history museum. The Old Fort House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
