Luna Moth Walk I is a 1982–1983 Cor-Ten steel sculpture by Charles Ginnever, installed on the Stanford University campus in Stanford, California, United States. The sculpture is part of Ginnever's "Luna Moth Walk" series; other steel artworks in the series include Luna Moth Walk II (1985) and Luna Moth Walk III (1982). Luna Moth Walk I is also one of three sculptures by Ginnever installed on the Stanford University campus, as of 2003.

The Stanford Legacy is a totem pole by artist Don Yeomans, installed on the Stanford University campus in Stanford, California, United States. The 40-foot (12 m), 4,200-pound artwork was installed outside the Law School on May 6, 2002. It exhibits a traditional Haida style and was carved from an approximately 400-year-old Western red cedar. The totem was cleaned and repainted in 2013.

Stanford Law School (Stanford Law or SLS) is the law school of Stanford University, a private research university near Palo Alto, California. Established in 1893, it is consistently regarded as one of the most prestigious law schools in the world. Stanford Law has been ranked among the top three law schools in the United States every year since 1992, an accomplishment shared only by Yale Law School. Stanford Law School employs more than 90 full-time and part-time faculty members and enrolls over 550 students who are working toward their Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree. Stanford Law also confers four advanced legal degrees: a Master of Laws (LL.M.), a Master of Studies in Law (M.S.L.), a Master of the Science of Law (J.S.M.), and a Doctor of the Science of Law (J.S.D.). Each fall, Stanford Law enrolls a J.D. class of approximately 180 students, giving Stanford the smallest student body of any law school ranked in the top fourteen (T14). Stanford also maintains eleven full-time legal clinics, including the nation's first and most active Supreme Court litigation clinic, and offers 27 formal joint degree programs.Stanford Law alumni include several of the first women to occupy Chief Justice or Associate Justice posts on supreme courts: former Chief Justice of New Zealand Sian Elias, retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, the late Associate Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court Rhoda V. Lewis, and the late Chief Justice of Washington Barbara Durham. Other justices of supreme courts who graduated from Stanford Law include the late Chief Justice of the United States William Rehnquist, retired Chief Justice of California Ronald M. George, retired California Supreme Court Justice Carlos R. Moreno, and the late California Supreme Court Justice Frank K. Richardson.

Lane Medical Library is the library of the Stanford University School of Medicine at Stanford University, near Palo Alto, California. Its mission is to "accelerate scientific discovery, clinical care, medical education and humanities through teaching, collaboration, and delivery of biomedical and historical resources". It is located on campus adjacent to Stanford Hospital and Clinics. In addition to books, journals and documents for medical research and the teaching and practice of medicine, Lane Library houses a significant collection of material relating to the history of medicine. The library also provides specialized search capabilities, classes and tutorials, writing and grant support, and group and individual study spaces.

The J. Henry Meyer Memorial Library was a library at Stanford University in California. It was dedicated on December 2, 1966. In 2007, a seismic assessment identified $45 million in required retrofits, more than the cost of a new library elsewhere on campus. Consequently, the library was designated for closure and a new design was accepted featuring a public open space area at the site. The library closed permanently on August 22, 2014, and was demolished during the months of February and March, 2015.Designed by architect and Stanford alumnus John Carl Warnecke, Meyer Library's arcades featured high columns and vaulted ceilings. It was a four-story building with a sloping tile roof, and the outer sides of the building were lined with vertical bands of tall windows. The inner, central section of each side of the building was covered with a mesh of small windows. The first floor of the Meyer Library consisted of several seminar rooms, a computer cluster, and a 24-hour study room. The first floor was open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The second floor was the home of Academic Computing and Residential Computing, which provided technological expertise and resources to faculty and students. There was a specialized Multimedia Studio and a Digital Language Lab. The Meyer Technology Services Desk provided direct troubleshooting and consulting services. The third floor contained library systems and offices. The fourth floor housed the East Asia Library, which has a vast Chinese collection of over 300,000 volumes, a Japanese collection of over 100,000 volumes, and a Korean collection of over 10,000 volumes. This collection was moved to the new Lathrop Library.

Designed by Spencer Associates in 1986 and funded by a donation from Elaine Sweet, Sweet Hall is a four-story building at Stanford University designed to consolidate undergraduate services, Stanford Overseas Studies, and the Undergraduate Advising and Research Center. The basement of Sweet Hall consists of an ITS server room and NSO (New Student Orientation). The first floor of Sweet Hall is the site of the Freshmen Dean's Office, Undergraduate Advising and Research, and the Stanford Overseas Studies Program. Until the fall of 2006, the second floor housed a network of Linux and UNIX workstations designed for remote use through telnet. The workstations were moved to the Gates Computer Science building and the Terman Engineering building. The space is currently occupied by the design group, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, as well as some IT support staff for VPUE (Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education), IHUM Fellows, and Oral Comm rooms. The third floor of Sweet Hall houses the Program in Writing and Rhetoric (PWR). The Oral Communication Program is also on this level. Offices for PWR and OCP lecturers are located on this level. The fourth floor houses the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. It is also the site of FSP (Freshman Sophomore Programs), parts of UAR (Undergrad Advising and Research) and CTL, the Center for Teaching and Learning, which supports faculty and students by promoting effective teaching methods, through classroom observation and analysis, through obtaining feedback from students, and through lessons on teaching in general.

White Memorial Fountain, also known as The Claw, is a fountain by Aristides Demetrios on the Stanford University campus in Stanford, California, United States. It was installed in 1964, and Demetrios returned to restore the fountain in 2011. It has 65 jets.The fountain was commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond B. White to commemorate their sons, William N. and John B. White II.

The Stanford Clock Tower with its attached, colonnaded pergola is located at the so-called “Circle of Death” at the corner of Escondido and Lasuen Malls on the campus of Stanford University. It was built in 1983 by a donation from trustee William Kimball.It holds the mechanical clock, built in 1901 by the Seth Thomas Clock Company, which was originally housed in Stanford Memorial Church’s large belfry. When the belfry collapsed in the 1906 earthquake, the university preserved the chimes in temporary structures near the church, where they continued to chime the hours. (During the 1950s and 1960s the chimes were heard to strike 13 times at noon, possibly the result of a student prank.) In 1983 the clock and chimes were rehoused in the current clock tower. The clock mechanism still needs to be hand-cranked twice a week. In 1997 a new temperature-compensating pendulum designed by engineering students was installed to eliminate errors in time-keeping caused by temperature changes.On May 10, 1983, when then-Stanford president Donald Kennedy unveiled the new clock tower, he burst out laughing: the clock's west face had been covered with Mickey Mouse's face and hands by an unknown prankster.

Braun Music Center is a music education building at Stanford University in California. Opened in 1984, the Braun Center serves as the link between the student residential area and the main activities center. As the main building for the Department of Music, Braun is the venue for the department's concerts and recitals and offers rehearsal studios and practice facilities as well as classrooms and offices. Department of Music events are held in Braun's Campbell Recital Hall and Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Braun also houses the Stanford University Music Library and Recorded Sound.

Old Union Fountain is a fountain on the Stanford University campus in Stanford, California, United States. The fountain exhibits traditional mission style architecture, and is one of several on campus used in the tradition of "fountain hopping".

The Cecil H. Green Library (commonly known as Green Library) is the main library on the Stanford University campus and is part of the SUL system. It is named for Cecil H. Green. Green Library houses 4 million volumes, most of which are related to the humanities and social sciences. Libraries elsewhere on campus cover specialized areas such as Business, Law, Art, Medicine, or Engineering. Books from Green and other Stanford libraries are being scanned as part of the Google Books project.

The Haas Center for Public Service, formerly the Stanford Public Service Center, is the public service center on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, California. The Haas Center houses many student organizations and projects, including the Stanford Volunteer Network, Stanford in Government and the Ravenswood-Stanford Tutoring Program. Haas Center programs place more than 2,000 students annually in community service projects.The mission of the Center is to "connect academic study with community and public service to strengthen communities and develop effective public leaders. The Center aspires to develop aware, engaged and thoughtful citizens who contribute to the realization of a more just and humane world."
